| 1 | Are cashiers even worth it?I think the problem is that you’re trying to approach her in a setting where you have like 30 seconds to talk to her without holding up the line, so you’re starting at a disadvantage. The checkout line is no place for small talk unless you want to piss off other people. You’re probably going to have the same problem approaching other women while their attention is on working and not on trying to chat. You’re probably not going to have enough time to make any conversation while in the checkout line. Do it in a different situation. Or just not at all.
