An interview with UK psychologist Nichola Graham-Kevan where she discusses the realities of domestic abuse, the problems with ideology in the field, the difficulties that occur for male victims and the limitations of the government's feminist-informed approach. She also discusses the Duluth Model, its limitations and how adherence to its principals stops better evidence-based programs being developed that could help abusive people with their problems. The interview also challenges the idea of ab…

Of course not. It's an extremely small group of embittered fools with terrible ideas and ridiculous opinions. Most people who encounter it are baffled and offended by them. It'd never gain any meaningful traction, and do you really think women will just let go of their hard won rights?

He really pissed that scene off when he began calling out the PUA/Red Pill stuff as harmful. I came across Manson around 2013/14 and used to lurk on his forum (which was admittedly... a mixed bag and nowhere near as solid as the articles he was writing) . I remember when I was exploring the Manosphere seeing guys like Roosh and Krauser call him a "sell out". I even remember the (recently deceased) Tom Torero having a video of himself intoning "I am looking to connect with women" "I want to be vu…

Long story short, you indulged in a superficial form of self-help that offered you temporary enlivenment and an escape from your self-loathing. Now you've reached a stage where you have to confront the lack of substantial change you've been through. Your previous issues have not been addressed sufficiently, rather they've been bottled up, and are now festering. I think everyone goes through stages like this, to some extent. A couple of years ago I thought I had my life and issues figured out. I …

Step by step. Small advances at a time. Begin by making small talk with strangers, ask directions (even if you know where you're going), try going to a new place to eat or drink and asking for a recommendation or something. Make mistakes, learn from them, let them go. Try and find new experiences. Write your thoughts down in a journal or such, try to tap into deeper areas of yourself, your likes and dislikes, your history, insecurities, so you can come to understand yourself better. They key, I …

It's better to make your interest known earlier, generally speaking. Everyone develops unrequited feelings, often when we've been around someone for a long while we begin to notice them in ways that never occurred to us. Sometimes, they're already taken. Sometimes, due to a complexity of issues, we don't make any kind of move. Sometimes, things just don't work out and we're not compatible in that sense. As for what you should do? She's with another person now, I think you need to work towards mo…

Talk to a therapist, it sounds like you have a number of complex problems that may require professional guidance. Put dating and sex out of your mind for now. Despite what you've read elsewhere, it is not the "catch-all" end of your problems that incels and PUA make it out to be. You need to focus on building yourself up first. A few things to try is a) writing down your thoughts/feelings in a journal or such to get them out there b) try writing a list of your good qualities, as many as you can …

I've encountered plenty of men who don't work and are propped up by their wives/girlfriends. A lot of impregnated young mothers also get help from their families. Also: stay and home mothers are typically doing the demanding job of looking after children and running a household, 'stay-at-home-men' are often drunks, deadbeats, and benefit cheats. .. Not always true of course, but in my experience when it comes to 'MUST WORK OR GET LEFT' that's usually the reason. But these men usually find a way …

They're thin-skinned and don't handle criticism well. I think with MRA/Red Pill types they often came from classic Nice Guy backgrounds, where they convinced themselves they already were a 'decent nice man' and bought into that as their identity. Being told to 'respect women' probably stings because it reminds them/or forces them to realise they're not quite the good guy they frequently told themselves they were. A lot of them have strong shame/persecution complexes as well. One imagines a gener…

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
