Just apologize to currently living black people, they're both black, so it's pretty much the same. (Can't believe some people don't see the problem here)
I'd say it's worse because he targeted any group at all (hypothetically, whether he did it or not is irrelevant). Because, I think, we agree that all forms of (unjustified) discrimination are bad.
