| 4 | You keep using that word... I do not think it means what you think it meansNo, people don't overestimate biological drives. People underestimate them for whatever reason. There's a Norwegian documentary called Brainwash and I suggest you watch the first part entitled "The Gender Equality Paradox". It demonstrates that young babies will prefer toys associated with their sex, long before any kind of cultural/social influences are introduced. You may be an outlier, but that goes against the norm. | /r/MensRights | 29/10/13 02:51 PM |
| 4 | Women outnumber men in 7 out of 11 graduate fields, yet media focuses on female underrepresentation in STEM fieldsThere's a Norwegian documentary called Brainwash and I suggest you watch the first part entitled "The Gender Equality Paradox". It goes over the same idea you put forth and there is some striking evidence to suggest that even very young babies will prefer toys associated with their sex, long before any kind of cultural/social influences are introduced. The whole series is eye-opening and I suggest everyone here give it your time. | /r/MensRights | 23/08/13 06:16 PM |
