I completely agree that blind hiring is the way to go. What I meant was, in the current state of things without blind hiring and yet with more women graduating from college than men currently, a reason for current "inequality" in some hiring is our lack of assertiveness during the hiring process. Even in a blind hire, the way we write can be passive or assertive, which can influence how we are perceived and therefore whether we are offered an interview.

Maybe I'm overlooking this somehow, but I'd be interested in seeing her research for this.
