Yep. When mine started I knew I was going to have to eat shit sandwiches for about two years. Unfortunately you to do the same. As awful as it is just resign yourself to the fact that it won’t be easy, quick, or pleasant. Eat the sandwich and say thanks, and keep on moving everyday. This probably isn’t helpful but it’s advice I received and then when things are unpleasant at least I’m not surprised. Hold your head up and make some small level of progress everyday.

Only a foolish man puts his hand in the fire twice. I will never re-marry or live in a way that looks like marriage to the Australian government. Happy to date, go out and have fun, but I will not live with someone again.

Only a foolish man puts his hand in the fire twice. Going through divorce atm. I will never live with anyone else apart from my kids. Happy to date and have fun, but I am not interested in involving myself in a situation which looks like a marriage again. Remember, women control access to intimacy, men control access to commitment. Don’t give you commitment away too easily. Happy new year all.

When you are older you will not regret the memories made with your children. You are not wrong for feeling this way, but try and see it as a blessing. You can’t change her priorities, but you can give your children some great memories with you. Many men have e to fight to see their kids for one weekend. The places you want to see will still be there in 20 years, but your children won’t be children anymore. Hope this helps somewhat and doesn’t come off as condescending.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
