That would have required an underage male student.

I was thinking the same thing, unless is the talk of bandwagon jumpers on accusations of this type (but not in this case)

That more people don't take the 'law' into their own hands, astounds me.

I think you're confusing communism and socialism.

Poor Laci, she was pretty cute, albeit fem-extreme. But she's not looking so good now (see extra poundage) and is not less tolerable.

Then what does this mean? Other court filings revealed that last November, Kleiner had offered Ms. Pao $964,502 to settle, an amount based on the projected costs of the case.

So they offered her a million bucks before the case went to trial and she said no? Sucker! The self delusion is strong in this one. I'm sure she actually thought she had an airtight case and would clean up. I can imagine her yes mam meetings leading up to declining the settlement. I absolutely love it. I mean I loved that she lost already, but knowing that she could have got a million bucks but said no makes the story all the sweeter now.

From the article it sounds like since he represented himself, he merely told the court it was unfair and why, as opposed to presenting legal arguments to support and plead his case. I think had he brought a lawyer it would have been a different outcome. As it was, they all saw blood when he showed up unrepresented and acted accordingly.

It seems like a crime that wouldn't need a complainant. But what the hell do I know about SA law?

What does one have to do with the other? Shouldn't charges have already been laid because of the fact that it happened and is/was online?

What about the minor boy who knocked up his teacher and is now liable for child support? He's screwed for life now. Just as bad as getting preggers I would say.LINK
/r/PussyPassDenied20/03/15 09:32 PM

According to this article, interaction is not even required.

And in Canada the child support cheque goes to the mother only. Woe be ye if you are a single father and have custody. Mommy will still get the cheque. Hell and high water must be raised in order for daddy to be put as the primary.

I don't think it really matters. If there are mental problems then they should be committed to an institution for a long time. Any other 'excuse' should not remove jail time. If there is one thing that should get you in jail is intentional murder.

Shows that if you take them away, not so hot and common folk gain little from the first and nothing from the second (they are actually hurt - see shady American financial dealings)

I know eh. Funny when you call them Gulags its all evil or something. The Yanks have more in jail than Soviet Russia at its peak.

OMG, I'm not American (Thank goodness). Last time I had a child and didn't have to pay anything reminded me it's good not to be a Yank. If America has given anyone else anything it was only a consequence of taking care of itself.

I think when the show has your name we can be sure that the opinion that are given are probably pretty well inline with what the host thinks. I mean he says he's anti-religion and he is. He says he's left wing and he his, So why shouldn't I believe that this is how he actually feels about this subject.
/r/MensRights25/06/14 12:45 PM

None of those were for 'attention'. Hate, revenge, insanity sure but not attention.

Wow, that was the biggest pile of garbage I've read in a long time. Haven't seen any of that stuff here. You know when I started paying attention to MRA stuff? When I had two boys and started to see that there is quite a bit is stacked against them.

Imagine it was you, and every time you walked out of the house you were sure everyone wanted to assault or kill you. It would be a terrible way to live.

The only reason she wasn't raped is because he decided not to. Or he was just a pushy salesman. But her attitude that she is a rape victim waiting to happen can't be healthy. She should get that looked at. I would suggest some self defense classes and perhaps a therapist.

Which women? All women? No, not all deserve my respect. Actually, just like men, the only women who get my respect are those who have earned it. I'm not giving out respect willy-nilly here.
/r/MensRights22/05/14 04:31 PM

As a general rule I ignore kids of strangers and, even when I don't ignore them, I rarely give them more attention than their parents. Your new statement is the opposite of your old statement, which is it. Ignore or respond. They are opposites.
/r/MensRights05/03/14 08:45 PM

So wait he shouldn't smile and chat to kids, because what, it's bad? Your general rule is to ignore, sad but yours to make. Others, me included, smile at kids who smile at me, I might say hi or make a funny face and if someone has a problem with that they they can have the balls to actually say something to me. No one has yet. I've noticed a big difference when I have my 2 year old and 11 mth old with me and when I'm alone but I still do it. What are you teaching kids if you avoid their eyes and…

"We live in a sexist society in which men have privileges and prerogatives unavailable to women." Wow, where do I sign up. I'd like some privileges and prerogatives, please!

So I guess I can't be sexist as I hold no political, economic or institutional power. This is similar to the mindset the I am responsible for slavery before I was born because I'm white. Both are foolish.

Especially in the UK, couldn't they sue her for libel/slander?
/r/MensRights16/02/14 10:01 AM

Damn, I wish I was in TO, I'd head down there for a good ole' time! I would also pull a fire alarm at every 'feminist' lecture with great joy.
