Also, it's not a competition. If we say we are struggling too It doesn't matter by how much. We should help anyone who is being discriminated against.

If it's skewed towards women I don't think that's Dr. K's fault. He can't personally monitor everything since he's such a busy guy. From what I understand though, the community is meant to be a safe space for everyone and so they like to keep controversial topics out of there. I think it's definitely something that is needed and I can appreciate it for what it is but I do wish there was a separate place for people who want to have harder conversations in a respectful manner.

I think men and women want to be in relationships at about the same rate. One of the big differences is that women are more ok with being single than men. They feel that they have time and are more focused on living a fulfilling life despite the lack of a partner. They basically tend to have a more self sufficient and healthy mindset around being single. A lot of my fellow men are doomers and get into negative thought loops and spiral from being single.

Tbf, Trump has officially been found guilty for 34 crimes. He is legitimately the first president to be charged with crimes.

It all depends on what you ultimately want. If you want humanity to continue existing then you need men and women. Other than that. Neither gender really needs each other on a philosophical level. If you've ever been around physical working women then you'll know that they're plenty strong. Yes, women generally can't be as strong as men, but they don't need to be as strong as the strongest men to do any physically demanding jobs. With that said, women certainly can't do those jobs to the same ef…

I always feel a sense of calm and contentment after crying. It's extremely relieving. I've noticed that I subconsciously turn off my feelings if another person is nearby so I often have to consciously fight it to allow myself to cry.

Are the people calling for vulva diversity the same exact people shaming small dicks? It's important to be nuanced. You'll always be able to find hypocritical discrepancies in a movement when it's broad enough to encompass large swaths of people. In those cases it's important to weed out those who are the problem and to support those who aren't.

That's more variables at pay than just porn. It's not a fair argument.

Just because some women care more about looks than personality doesn't mean they all do. There are plenty of women, if not most, who may be initially attracted to a man's looks but if they have a grating personality, will not stick around.

A lot of men are like this for sure. Personally, as a man, my wife makes more than me and it doesn't bother me at all.

What are they?
/r/PurplePillDebate14/07/24 07:57 PM

I don't think they are. Have you considered that men are generally less attractive nowadays whereas women have only gotten more attractive. Women tend to put more time and effort into their appearance than guys. Maybe if guys put in the same amount of effort there would be more attractive guys to choose from? Personality is also important. Men seem to generally be less confident and socially awkward than in the past.
/r/PurplePillDebate13/07/24 10:44 PM

Do you have proof/data to support your claim that the advice given doesn't help as and/or makes things worse?
/r/PurplePillDebate13/07/24 08:21 AM

It's a lot easier for men. Literally just penetration and that's it. Don't even have to touch any other part.
/r/PurplePillDebate13/07/24 08:18 AM

There are two things that would solve this. Men can take initiative and ask women what they did and did not like and women can also take initiative and tell men what they did and did not like. Doesn't matter who initiates the conversation as long as it's initiated.

The best way to understand this is to compare the amount of users on any given social media site to the whole population. There is a HUGE difference. Most people live in the real world.
/r/PurplePillDebate12/06/24 12:53 AM

The thing about stats is that they are way more nuanced than they are given credit for. There could be zero men who swipe right 40% of the time but because of the spread it averages out to 40%. You yourself do not fit the 40% average yet you are assuming that the women in your area fit the 7% average. Maybe the women in your area do swipe right more often. You wouldn't know since you are actually "pickier" in comparison. There's another problem. Who's "pickier" really? Well, what does that Even …

Couldn't you say the same about the man? Aren't you spending time with a man you find attractive? Doesn't it raise your status? Why do you assume the man is benefitting more from dating you than you are from dating him?

Will you pay for the guy's car, gas, clothes, cologne, hair products? He uses all that to get ready and conduct the date. No guy forced you to buy that make-up. Buy cheaper make-up or don't wear it.

You consented to the date. Are you going to pay for the guy's clothes and cologne? You made a decision for yourself. The make-up is for yourself by your own words. If it's not for me then I'm not paying for it.

They do though because while being physically attractive will get you a date. Having a shitty personality will get you dumped. Man or woman.
/r/PurplePillDebate23/05/24 02:22 AM

Some men are what? My comment was all about he feelings and perpective of men and you seem to not be understanding them.
/r/PurplePillDebate19/05/24 07:44 AM

Nowhere is said that every random man will assault us but those who would, are so much worse than what the bear might do (you know not all bears) that we rather take the bear. I'm guessing you mean this. I figured that's what it was. I've tried explaining this to other guys and they can't seem to wrap their heads around it. Like brother, If one thing is a lot worse than another then you'll be ok taking your chances on the less harmful outcome.
/r/PurplePillDebate19/05/24 07:38 AM

Neither of those. It's declaring that the worst possible outcome of what a man could do to you is wayyyyyyy worse than the worst possible outcome of what a bear could do to you.

I promise you it's not. Maybe for some, but certainly not most men who are offended by this. Those men truly believe that most men are safer than a bear. They find this to be an obvious fact. So when a woman says that they'd choose a bear over a man it makes them wonder why they would choose someone they believe to be absolutely absurd. The answer they come up with is that women have an unfair prejudice towards them. This is not some kind of power play. Men are genuinely hurt that they are being…

Ok, but that doesn't tell us how many men murder. There were about 165,280,000 men in the US in 2022. Here are some number of incident stats from the FBI for 2022. These are all the number of perpetrators. Homicide: 13,344 men, or ~0.008% of men Aggravated assault: 412,912 men, or ~0.25% of men Robbery: 154,649 men, or ~0.094% of men Rape: 94,877 men, or ~0.057% of men All violent crime: 675,782 men, or ~0.41% of men Btw, some of these incidents are certainly repeats by the same men. Basically, …

Children are affected by the vote but they aren't allowed to vote. That second one is a good point. Ideally, people will vote for things that result in a higher collective good for everyone. You probably want mature thoughtful people making those votes.

Not in every case, but most of the time, yes. Porn existing isn't the reason guys stop being able to masturbate to just their imagination. It's normal. When you're young and extra horny it's easy because you're extra horny. It doesn't take much. But as you become less horny, unless you have a very vivid and clear imagination, which most guys don't, it becomes harder to get off, regardless of the existence of porn. Guys likely didn't masturbate that often before porn existed because it wasn't eas…

I'm sorry, that may be how it works for you but it's simply not how it works for others. Not everyone is the same. You sound like a guy who thinks they know more about how women's bodies work than they do. Also, you don't need to masturbate. It won't hurt you to not.
