This is such a great and well written post.

I think this is also a great example to realize that we all should use our brains and actually think about what we’re doing, rather than be told by some douchebag on the internet or in a book. Women are humans, men are humans. There’s so much more to everything than just what’s “on paper”. It’s FEELINGS. It’s always feelings. For men and women both. If you’re a rich boring dude, then you’ll seem like a try hard because you’re not giving anyone the feelings of excitement or success. I don’t alway…

It’s not. Yes there are biological and societal things going on in the world that can have an effect. But these cringy meme garbage incel terms are embarrassing. They’re just excuses for incels to stay incels. Like why bother putting in the work? I might as well just keep being bitter and jerking off right? Women are just people. They’re just humans like the rest of us. Yeah they tend to be different than men as a general rule but they’re not magical creatures. Do the work. Make an effort. Learn…

Keep going to therapy and stop reading “looksmaxxing” fucking garbage or “black pill” shit. Go to the gym, go outside, be healthy, enjoy your life. Don’t worry about girls so much. Just make some efforts and keep going to therapy because you are 100% your own worst enemy. Turn the internet off and go outside.

Stop looking for outside validation in your life. It doesn’t MAKE you feel ugly and undesirable. Work on not basing your self worth on other people and take control of your emotions and outlook on life.

lol what a fucking joke. Yeah red pill is excessive and overcompensating which really is weakness when it comes down to it. There’s a balance dude. And being submissive to women isn’t it. I know many women, my wife included, that finds submissive men gross and unattractive. I also treat my wife like a princess and do things for her and keep her happy, but there’s nothing submissive about it. It’s about working together, standing tall next to each other, and being a strong rock that she can lean …

Haha no. I’m just kidding. I can appreciate the attempt at inner strength red pill pretends to want to be, but The whole red pill thing got a little ridiculous.

I’m not a bad person. And I’m not trying to insult you. I’m not trying to sway any way that you feel, or invalidate your feelings. This would be the point in a discussion with my wife, where I would do my best to shut the hell up. 😂 I don’t refer to women as “little lady” in my head or in actual words. Redpill AWALT is dumb. We can all agree. But as a whole, there are consistencies that many women want in men. They can appear differently, but at their core, they’re very similar. And it generally…

I think it’s very clear that “they” was referring to “women”. You said “women are not wired” and I said “you could argue that they are…” Anyway, yes. Of course they’re not robots. Neither are men. Men and women like vastly different things. “They” both are drawn to different things in looks and attitudes of the other sex. But as a whole, most women don’t like men who complain. Most women don’t like men who whine about things and don’t take accountability for themselves, and don’t make an effort …

They’re not necessarily wired to massive machismo, but you can absolutely argue that they’re wired to success and strength, etc, in whatever way society views those things. Timotheeee isn’t muscle bound and masculine, but he sure as hell exudes confidence and success. Physical strength isn’t the measure anymore like it once had to be.

Man I’m amazed you can say all that without getting downvoted to hell. I posted a while ago that some of the things I learned from red pill were very helpful and improved my life, and no one wanted to hear it. Models is absolutely one of them, and so was NMMNG. I get that it can be hard to pick out the garbage in the redpill, but the overall idea of learning to handle yourself has improved my life and every relationship I encounter, whether romantic or otherwise.

Why would I be lost? Are you asking because I’m not vilifying the red pill itself? Serious question. Not being sarcastic.

Because. I read a lot of red pill books years ago. It’s not difficult to understand where they’re coming from, and a lot of it makes sense. It’s up to the reader to not just blindly follow the garbage they spew. There are parts of the red pill that are positive to adopt. “Don’t make excuses. Work hard, handle yourself, take responsibility, etc”. But turning women into the enemy is immature and trying to lump them all into the same group “AWALT” is dumb. The red pill won’t “ruin” anyone. Dude I know a guy who is 5’3”. He had some form of dwarfism at birth and they gave him hormones or something to try and help it along. He got to 5’3” because of that and he’s a little odd looking because of it. He has had a girlfriend for years. Wonderful girl, and very cute. I’m an attractive dude and totally think she’s hot. He’s a nice guy, stays active, and they’re happy together.

I mean, you’re really probably not a 2. And you definitely weren’t a 0. 0 is the worst it gets. If you play soccer regularly to any degree, you can’t be a 0. Yeah the numbers are stupid, but you’ve gotta be way off.

It’s because there are a lot of “ugly” dudes that are attractive. My dad hounded my mom for a long time when he met her. She was considered absolutely gorgeous, and my dad was definitely not. He was very confident and persistent, and 50 years later they are still together and very much still in love. I’m a fairly attractive dude, but my wife would have left me long ago if I didn’t back that up with a decent personality. I’ve learned how to act “hotter than I am” because you can make your own att…

I actually have no idea. I wasn’t watching YouTube videos of douche bags telling people how to be men or anything like that. I may have just stumbled on the sub Reddit? I don’t even know if I was seeking anything out at that point in my life either. I may have just seen the title, and thought it had something to do with the matrix.

For sure. And it’s embarrassing. I don’t even use the term redpill anymore because I don’t want to be associated with it. There are so many influential egotistical losers out there, who obviously still suffer from low self esteem. They act tough and talk big, and the people they influence swallow it all up like a “woman with a high n-count” 😂

It’s actually very interesting to me. I’m a very aware person, and have been with my wife for 13 years. We’re grossly very in love and pretty much always have been. We’ve had our struggles with life and raising a kid etc, but we’ve always been very communicative and respectful, and very much in love. I found redpill like 7 years ago, and it was 100% nothing but positive for me. I was mature enough to see that there was a lot of good information in it about handling your shit, and the potential d…

I’m 39. As I’ve gotten older I find younger women less attractive. I’m an attractive guy by most peoples standards, and not creepy or awkward. But I find that women my age, and even a little older have become more attractive to me. Sure, any women in her 30’s is still attractive to me, but girls in their early to mid 20’s do it less for me than they used to. I appreciate a good personality also, and I like the maturity level of older ones.

It’s not. Some people think that anything but being a mature and communicative adult in adult relationships with adult women is somehow red pill. I’m in a very long and very happy relationship. My wife is a very normal woman, and I am not “red pill”. But, she can admit without hesitation that many “red pill” ideals work for a ton of women, including her, even when she KNOWS the guy is doing them. There is a reason the red pill was so successful. Many of the ideals were based in reality. The bigg…

I’m a guy. This isn’t really the place to ask. In the end, women just want a strong confident guy who is mentally stable and can handle his shit and handle whatever life throws at him. They want a rock. Someone to lean on. Someone to make them feel safe and secure, but that can also be confident and hold onto the fact that he’s high value and walks around with his head held high. When you think about it that way, it’s really not difficult to understand why a woman would want that. And no, don’t …

Lol clearly. My mistake. I thought people in here were confident and took charge of their own lives and went out and got what they wanted because they were confident and don’t make excuses. MGTOW is usually associated with redpill mentality of crushing life and getting what we want. When did MGTOW become about being alone and whining about not being able to meet people because our IQ’s are too high? I don’t know where you live. I’m not going to pretend to. I’ll shut up now.

I grew up in small towns and have lived mostly in small towns till 4 years ago. I’m 37. If you could see the small town of 1500 that I met my wife of 9 years in, you would laugh. It’s all in the attitude man. Always will be.

Live music. At a brewery. Or a coffee shop. Or an open mic night. Go sit at an open mic. Talk to someone sitting next to you. Do you think people are going to just approach you if you’re not approachable? Listen to yourself man. You have to be someone that people want to meet, if you want to meet them. They’re not going to throw themselves at you.

Honestly man, with that attitude, I can’t disagree that it would be hard to meet people. Not music festivals. Local free or cheap music events. Cheap bike? Save a couple/few hundred and go find something used. Yeah I do go fishing by myself. And I’ve talked to people I’ve met. And have even exchanged phone numbers with some. Coffee shops? Don’t knock them. :) they’re my favorite. I met my past girlfriend of 7 years and my current wife at a coffee shop. Going in and sitting at them because I was …

Man this reeks of r/iamverysmart. Sporting events and bar hopping? I’m into neither of those, and I have no issue at all meeting people. Music events, mountain biking, rock climbing, reading at a coffee shop, hiking, fishing, anything. I am huge proponent of if you’re bored, it’s because you’re boring. There are people everywhere. Go be confident and approachable and talkative. There are friendly men and women literally everywhere you would go, into everything you are into.

I think STFU might be your best approach. My response would have playfully been “oh yeah? I’ll take what I want!” Or “hah! You know I always get what I want.” Etc. And been a little forceful. If she really wasn’t feeling it or whatever, and resisted to the point where it was annoying, then I would have said “its cool. Maybe I just find someone who does want to fuck. It’s still pretty early. 😜” But I say shit like that to my wife and I know she won’t blow a gasket. I would imagine that doesn’t wo…

Mine is simple. I had parents that really taught me how to embody it, and TRP has given me a lot of concrete ways to put it into effect. For me, it’s to be happy. To enjoy. To not let anyone else affect my desire and ability to be happy and to enjoy my life. I see the positive of everything. I fight through fears. Fears of the mind that are considered the hardest things in life to deal with, I open myself up to them by choice. And I really do enjoy my life. I feel like we’re here for a very fini…

I don’t think public school has anything to do with it. I spent most of my life in private schools a and half of my high school in public schools. My private school 7 and 8th grade classes were full of annoying wannabe feminist hippie girls and the teachers who taught them to be that way. Regardless of how much time I spent at school, my parents taught me the vast majority of who I am today. Teach your kids. School can teach them basic book learning and how to exist and practice existing in a so…

I don’t think we’re in control of the drive for multiple mates. We’re in control of whether we act on it or not, but not the drive. It’s a natural part of our species. Spread the seed. We’re not remotely a monogamous species in my opinion. If we were, we wouldn’t “cheat” all the time. We are animals. We just have a different level of self awareness.

Honestly, my opinion of marriage is that it doesn't mean shit. It's a piece of paper that can work for you in a practical way, depending on the situation. I've been with my wife for 7 years. I say wife, she says husband. I wear a ring, she wears a ring. We have a kid and live together. She even changed her last name recently. But we've never actually gotten married.

How old are you? If I was In your situation, I'd go take the job. If you want her to go with you, then cool. She can go with you. But I wouldn't propose just not to lose her. I bought a ring for my ex. We went to Paris. I brought it with me. But I couldn't do it. And I'm so happy that I didn't. Stick with your gut about situations like that. We were together for 7 years. 19-26. Like all of my 20's. I was out of shape and felt like she was my everything even though I was really unhappy for a long…

Yeah I agree to some extent. Sometimes he just feels like this fragile minded person. He wants someone there so he doesn't have an anxiety attack or something. We're all a bit tired of it and generally aren't shy about giving him our honest opinion of the girl and the situation anymore. He knows we're all right but he just can't quit her. Its embarrassing. It honestly blows my mind. That he can be so weak like that. All of us who know about it have lost a lot of respect for him. He's generally a…

It's hard sometimes. A close friend of mind has made some insanely bad relationship choices lately, and I'm the guy that gets the phone calls from him having numerous complete mental breakdowns over a girl. I've tried to give him some advice, and just tell him about NMMNG, but he keeps making the same bad choices. It's been tough but I've finally just thrown my hands up. I'll be there for him when he's laying on the floor drooling and crying again over this bitch, wallowing in his self pity, but…

This is interesting to me. When I get a scratch on my face I generally don't say anything about it and then forget about it. My wife is the one that usually points it out after I've forgotten about it. This whole conversation wouldn't even begin in my house. Not saying that it's good or bad, it was just an interesting read to me.

I'm generally a lurker, but I'll throw in. I'm a better father, husband, partner, etc since getting into this stuff. I'm in the best shape I've been in, in years, and it's only improving. I don't get angry hardly at all anymore, and nothing surprises me. It feels good to be on a path of self improvement and its good to watch hard work pay off. My mentality is becoming one of peace and it's so wonderful. Thank you guys. It's changed my life only for the better and it's changing more every day.

I know I'm a good person, and I would return a wallet. But I would never expect anyone else to do the same. There are so many shitty people out there and no one will ever look out for me like I will, so it is absolutely my responsibility to look out for myself and my son, and my wife to a different degree (she's an adult and needs to be able to handle herself for the most part). Leaving my wallet on a table is asking for it in a huge way. It's a wallet, everyone knows they're generally filled wi…

I totally agree. And I don't condone staying in shit relationships for the kids. I was just saying it makes things way harder because you now have your sons feelings affecting you. Divorcing can be an easy break compared to leaving when you have kids.

While I admittedly a novice in all this, I've seen plenty of people be shitty regardless of who was leading them. Some people are mean spirited and a lot of it comes from how they were raised and who they were raised by. Not everyone is just "fixable". EDIT: Do you have a son?
/r/MarriedRedPill06/09/15 08:05 PM

There's truth to this. From lurking the TRP and living my own married life with a two year old, things change a lot when you have kids. Women aren't all magically amazing mothers. It's hard to hold frame etc. when your wife takes her shit out on your son. Walking away becomes much harder. It's not just about you anymore. I'm thankful to be in a happy relationship, I just need a bit of adjustment here and there, which is why I'm here. Kids will change your life in ways you never expected.

I don't think that's right. I think she's saying "fuckin with another dude" like hanging out with other dudes. Like if some other girl saw her walking with some dude, they'd be all "hey yo i saw your girl fuckin with another dude". I don't think it means actually "fuckin".
