Great post, but don't foam roll your IT band. Tendons are supposed to be strong and tight. Foam roll the muscles that make tendons tighter than normal. In this case, foam roll your TFL (tensor fascia latae). Loosening your tendons would be like towing a trailer with a rubber band instead of a strong chain.

Right on bro! Be sure to update, would like to know if you earn the job. I actually had very good success adopting TRP into my job hunt this past summer. I earned an interview before I even returned home. I did get the position, but during the second phase of the interview I let myself get a little overzealous and the manger could sense that. I learned from it and have been producing above their expectations since then. Stay strong, and good luck.

I am a personal trainer and this concept applies perfectly to getting clients on your own. I am constantly at the front desk giving free sessions or walking the floor to find a target to approach. You have to get over that same anxiety, but with different rewards (unless I bag a hottie). In fact about 30% of members will say yes to personal training, but don't do it because they don't get asked. I like to apply this to game as well. Girls will say yes to you, you just have to get over the anxiet…

If you don't have connections, do it the old fashioned way. Find companies that interest you, research them, clean up, go to the company, and tell them what you want and are looking for. Get any and all info pertaining to the internship. Email as many places as you can too. Online applications (build up that resume). Stay persistent, confident, and focused. The worst thing you can do however, is to procrastinate.
