I think the idea is that if you take a foreign wife with you home she will leave you as soon as she gets the green card or whatever. If you have a kid already it would heavily desinzentivise that behaviour.

Because someone who is average or below average will be more attractive in the east than in the west. Hence if he had issues before then he would theoretically have an easier time finding someone.

Yeah having kids and staying is not controlling. However having kids and then moving back to a foreign country where the woman knows no one and the kid basically being the thing that forces her to stay seems to me to be pretty controlling.

Would it also be valid to have a kid before going back (if you were to go back)? Feels incredibly shitty and controlling but of you want kids either way then does it really matter?
