I can believe that. I think what she is literally asking for is a human equivalent of what big horn sheep do. She wants the men to physically fight over her, and whoever wins gets to procreate. Here's the thing. I work 50 to 55 hours a week, while my wife does not much, aside from keeping our daughter alive, and even then, she's a rather neglectful parent. I can not do all the housework and earn a living. So the housework suffers, and it's a mess in here. I managed to score about one or two dates a year. OK Cupid used to be a lot better, but it went to shit over time as more features hid behind the pay wall and more filtering was implemented to basically restrict how many messages actually reach women. Men were likely feeling ignored, so to increase chances, men spammed low effort messages. So women feel overwhelmed, and ignore a lot of messages. But before such restrictions, I could connect with a rare match pretty easily.

I was on most of the dating sites for 10-15 years, with hardly any results. It's basically a slot machine game. They feed you some wins, but not too good, because then you would stop paying them. I found my wife in a couple months on Facebook's dating service on their mobile app. The difference is that Facebook makes money off me somehow whether or not I found a match.

These women and young children only cars also exist (or existed in the 90's when I visited) in Cairo, Egypt. Supposedly for anti-groping reasons, but also potentially for Islamic religious reasons. (IIRC). I had the unpleasant mistake of getting on one, and being scorned by women in Arabic until the next stop.
