Anecdotal evidence isn't real evidence but for many, spirituality exists

No worries. We need more men like you

Nah, all bad people are weak.l because emotionally mature people aren't like that. Being vulnerable as a man is not the same as being weak. But men who haye women, men who abuse, incels etc are all weak

Duh, I'm a man (like everyone here) so of course I'm privileged. Be serious

Feminism is literally what fights for mens res arch into suicide rates, for free therapy and mens sheds etc for male victims of sexual assault and for men to be treated equally in court. I bet you don't even know men have a International Mens Day. Grow up - this is why they hate us, because so many believe your stupid propaganda

How *logic works, not women's logic. C'mon, it's the 21st century

It literally is. Seriously am I the only guy eho knows what "feminism" and "patriarchy" actually is?? Y'all are giving men a bad name

Hahaha privilege compared to our actual privilege. The only privilege women have is the family court system tends to favor mothers...and women can wear dresses?? That's it. C'mon don't fall for Tate

"projection"?? We are privileged compared to women. Not all men but definitely YOU

Haha wtf, no! Am I the only one that actually knows the difference between the patriarchy and men?! All of you need to understand that the patriarchy is a systemic, oppressive societal structure that forces men to be touch and not have feelings, be strong gladiatorial "men" (which is why the suicide rate is so high and why many men attack their family) and "men" are just part of a group who compared to women, are more privileged and helped by the patriarchal structure. The patriarchy wants men n…

Right wing thinking doesn't belong here

Why do you think there's NOT a difference between them not hating men but hating the patriarchy. They're VERY different and you're not left wing at all if you believe this and can't tell what the patriarchy actually is

This is a huge part of the problem, dude. You're repeatedly implying you were owed sex before the attack and are owed even more now. None of those are true. "The wound of already living a sexless, disempowering life" is very telling. Where did this feeling feeling come from? Why was so much of your life focused on sex/lack of before the attack? Why should women sleep with you? What sexually do you bring to the table? How will you stop feeling worthless if someone sleeps with you and why? These a…

Other people have no impact on your "sexual health" and it's dangerous how you keep explaining it. You're self worth has nothing to do with others. A better therapist should help you because you clearly aren't ready or emotionally stable enough yet to have safe sex but also to be a good sexual partner. You can't have a healthy sexual experience with your thinking still like this and you need that harsh truth drummed into you. You'll end up more traumatized if you find someone yo sleep with you r…

Well said

It's a lot more than just "unenjoyable". Plenty of straight women (mainly) stereotypically never find sex enjoyable because penetrating alone is not enough for a woman to climax (for 90% of women according to studies). It's the trauma and many with good therapists are encouraged to stay away from all sex (exception of masturbation) until they're fully healed because it's dangerous mentally to do so. They way you keep explaining it, you should definitely stop trying to seek sex because you're not…

I'm sorry that happened to you. Maybe you need a better therapist, one who specialises in sexual trauma. Most columns are targeted to women because the vast majority of victims are women, so it makes sense - a big part of less advice and advocacy for male victims is because patriarchal society wants men to not be seen as victims, to not be vulnerable which is awful. We need brave men like you to speak out about what happened and the trauma so other men don't feel so alone in their trauma. There …

It's really disappointing how many men here miss the point (even op) so badly. No one "deserves" a relationship, intimacy or "love". That's pure incel behaviour. So much misogyny here being used to try explain toxic behaviours and ideals. Every "flawed" person needs therapy and pretty much everyone here needs a lot of therapy to learn no one is OWED love, sex or relationships.

Misandry doesn't exist because it needs to have systemic and systematic oppression like misogyny. There are plenty of women who hate men but that doesn't mean it's "misandry".

I think a lot of the people here think "weak" is a physical thing. Abusers ARE weaklings - mentally, emotionally, spiritually - that's why they lash out and attack the vulnerable

I've never seen "the media" portray violent men as weak. The truth is many ARE weak and use that insecurity to fan the flame of their violence, but all media show these violent men as "good blokes" who "just snapped". The amount of violent men who abuse or murder their wives or children, and have a neighbour or friend enable it by saying "he was such a good dad" - then why did he beat them to death, Steve?
/r/LeftWingMaleAdvocates05/06/25 03:24 AM
You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
