Of course he says that, but he also says fake it till you make it. He says a lot of stuff. He basically doesn't have a workable, teachable system; just a lot of rambling all over the place that seems good till you realize it's not. Keep following him if you're so devoted to that book but for someone still looking around I want to advise them not to.

And is that really an accurate or precise statement, that EVERYONE projects EVERYTHING? Wouldn't you rather say that everyone projects some things? And why should anyone who disagrees with you not reply? More to the point, why do you feel like you can tell people whether or not they should reply?

I will reply. You commented here so you have to accept that you will get replies from people who don't agree with you.

Women often project onto men what they care about. We are not interested in your home ownership or profession in most cases the way women are.. some men care about looks more than others, but we all care about it more than your job or degree or home. Personally, I care about long-term pleasantness more than looks. It's great when there are looks and a great personality, but I've been in LTRs with very attractive women who, once they got comfortable, were no longer pleasant to be around, and I've…

Well, speaking from experience, his stuff really messed me up. You put all of your focus on external validation, despite his claims to the opposite. That's the essence of what he's teaching. Do xyz to raise HER interest level. Pretend this. Fake that. It doesn't fix any of your internal stuff, and then when you've invested so much energy and time trying to do all of the "right things", when she leaves you, you're still a mess inside and it rips you apart. Don't be fooled by the apparent success.…

I disagree. You don't back off to not SEEM needy. You fix yourself to actually not BE needy. You can't have a happy relationship feeling needy and unsure but putting on acts to get specific reactions from another person. If you find neediness and a constant void inside yourself where you need the other person to reassure and validate you, don't be in a relationship. Fix that stuff first or you're just setting yourself up for misery along with every person you get into a relationship with.

That's actually from Eben Pagan. Corey isn't very original honestly. He's more of a marketing guy that slapped some stuff together and passed himself off as the best relationship expert. He's also pretty arrogant.

I got into Corey Wayne way back in 2006 when he used to advertise in Men's Health. I sent away for a paperback and then actually had a phone call with him back before he got big and only charged $100 rather than $1000. He even used some of my email questions in the revised edition of the book. Based on my long experience with his school of thought, I would tell guys to STAY AWAY and find a better one. There are several problematic ideas that, although they seem like they're working in the beginn…

Let me ask you something. I just read a post of yours and got curious to read more of them, and they're mostly along the same lines of "Looks are everything otherwise give up. I'm ugly and I've done all of this so I know what I'm talking about." If that's your stance, what vested interest do you have in spending so much time on this particular forum and repeating this things to so many people asking for advice? Why haven't you just cut your losses and moved on?

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
