You have returned to Reddit after almost a decade off it? Was life too good for you?

Who cares what women think or want anymore. To be honest I certainly do not. I just want to be left alone. Maybe I should start working at a department store, like someone said above. Maybe that will make me invisible. Alas.

My brother in Christ if you think I am your “enemy” or whatever you are mistaken. You still haven’t answered my question, do you consider people who watch Daily Wire, JBP or are conservative, far right? Because if you do…I have news for you. You have absolutely no idea what far right is. Or perhaps you are a moderate who doesn’t understand anything. Either way, your quarrel is not with me. If you think if it ok to be far right openly today (or far left, but we both know that in the last decade w…

Call the police. You know, those people who are supposed to enforce the law? I mean I don’t know where you are from, but the place I am from, the cops actually are cops. If cops can’t do their jobs that it is clearly the US is a shot hole country which lives in the past.
/r/MensRights23/11/23 02:25 AM

then the society you live in is sick.I wanted to say call the cops, but you made that pretty clear that it won’t work. Sorry for having to deal with that kind of women, I guess.

I am sorry but have you just asked her to leave the room? I don’t know how things work over the pond, but here in Europe, if someone (man, woman, bear) enters your private whatever without invitation, etc it is very serious. I mean I don’t see what is so ridiculous about asking for security when someone does not want to leave your room, dorm, etc. I just don’t. I mean it is pretty clear you can’t touch that person, maybe a man yes, but a woman (especially today) certainly not, although I have se…

You could have said no, you do realise that. Don’t you have campus security? You must understand how hard that is to believe, right? And have you just compared being asked on a date with serious stuff like grape? So, no, I think I am real. Maybe it is you who doesn’t understand how ridiculous this sounds? I have one final question, DONT’T you have locks in the US? Why would you go to sleep with your door unlocked, especially in a COLLEGE dorm? Is this an american thing I am too european to under…

My brother in Christ, don’t take this wrong, but are you for real? Or are you just trying to get a laugh out of us, a girl walked in on you and told you, you are going on a date? How fucking awesome, a woman taking initiative and giving you clear signals. Again, is this for real?

So you are “far-right”?. I am very certain you think being far right means watching JBP and being conservative. In that case you have no idea what far right means. So, I ask again, are you far-right? If you are, you are extremely dumb to admit it in the open. So which one is it? Are you misguided by the term or just dumb, because I can’t figure it out. Again, I don’t want to sound hostile, but I am convinced that you don’t understand the term “far-right” as it should be understood. P.S: half of …

what? how could you be far right in a world with 8 billion people? Do you have any idea how limiting that is politically? Imagine having a mixed society and addressing only one ethnic group. Are you going to antagonise a large number of people and turn them into adversaries instead of trying to win them over? I don’t think you understand what I am trying to say. Have you ever been involved in politics, like for real, because I have (not US) and the only think being told to you, is HOW to find co…

It was my post, and no, I did not ask that. I asked why this sub is viewed as RIGHT WING (from my interaction with countless users on this sub, I have noticed that most of them are left of centre, if not socially, economically at least). Not far-right. Who the fuck would be far right and intelligent at the same time? Those ideas are infeasible (they address to a small group of people) no matter what your “morals” or “ethics” tell you about it. And above all, humans are practical beings (at least…

To be honest, and with the risk of sounding shallow, all I care about are my finances. I am not ok with having my wealth (as little it may be) stolen from me (through taxes, etc) just because I am a man, and we must all “make” sacrifices to reach “equality”. I did not harm anyone in this world, I do not seek any conflicts. I just want a fair day’s pay for a fair day’s work. Nothing more, and maybe not being burdened with idiotic legislation, that would also help.

I am not angry. Anger leads to nothing good. I just don’t understand how this community intend to fix the problem by being so passive and open. If you believe pacifism works in the today climate and world you have been on the wrong channel. Have been among people lately? Are you ok with being a door mat all your life just so you can get along with others? Is this what this community is about? I genuinely would like to find out, because if so, I clearly don’t belong here. I am not even hostile. I don’t understand how this community wants to improve the lives of men. We all know what the problem is. I know you know.

I understand your situation, and I won’t offend you by telling that I feel sorry for you, because I don’t. I don’t see anything wrong with you. I understand what you are trying to say, but I am not talking about this kind of self pity. I am talking about: “I am a healthy male who has a good job but girls don’t like me so I am going to be and idiot about it and get depressed.” - from what I have seen this is the majority of self pity encountered in this sub, this or men who regret their marriages…

I agree, however for me there is a difference between venting and self pity. Venting is really good tbh, but there is a line, when things become self pity. Self pity in the sense of losing all hope and motivation, which I see daily around me, both IRL and virtual spaces, which again is sad.

Irrelevant to me. I am trying to be civil with everyone regardless, whenever it is possible and advisable. It is of no concern to me what others go through, just so there is no concern to others what I go through. There are special institutions that can help or remedy these problems (if you are referring to those types of issues), I think.

Classical feminism is so much worse than TERF (and despite what anyone says, classical feminism was hugely helped by the World Wars - so men dying helped the feminist cause, lol - who would have guessed). TERFs proves that women don’t have anything special, besides a womb, I suppose - but give science a couple of years. I mean a biological man won woman of the year award. So yeah, men are better women than women, lol. Sorry to see women lose their pixie fairy vibe (not really).

I am 23 and the best advice I could give to someone is…find someone who matches your inner strength. We have become too accustomed to settle. Better a lifetime of loneliness than a lifetime with the wrong person. You deserve better. Everyone who puts in the effort of not being a terrible individual from dusk to dawn does, sadly it has become pretty hard to not be a “terrible” person nowadays (you are just forced into it by the people around you). I hope you find what you are looking for. I wish …

Not necessarily unconditionally - I don’t think anyone is that naive, but no one (man, woman, attack helicopter) wants to be told 24/7 how awful they are. Which is what men go through today - in some parts of the world. At least some of them. (I am not one of them, because other’s opinion don not touch me and I know how establish dominance). Thank you for the kind words though. They are appreciated. Although I do not have a family (so this post might not be for me). Take care.

You pretend to know better than centuries of experience. Have you ever considered the fact that the world is the way it is because it is most stable like this? That makes you the archetype of the “saviour” - pretending to know “better”, armed with all the “solutions”. The world you want to live in will never come to pass. Good luck.

The first sentence doesn’t clear it up? Go to a third world country (muslim) and try to “open” their eyes, show them the “errors” of their ways. Be the “white” saviour. Be what you say you are. Go now, buy your plane ticket (can’t be that expensive). I wish you best of luck.
/r/MensRights08/11/23 09:13 AM

Than go fight in third world countries for their rights and see what happens. Not sure how to tell you this nicely…but…you are [not allowed to say it]. Plain and simple. Everything you say is idiotic and cringe. You have no self-thinking capabilities and I am pretty sure you enjoy being told what to do and think. I don’t care if that offends you.

I am not sure that people who make public serious threats about their mental state should be on anyone’s side. I have sympathy for the way he is feeling. I don’t have sympathy for handling it like this. The purpose of life is indeed reproduction (at the biological level), but to make women a goal in its own, is just sad in my opinion.

That is why modern day western Law terrifies me. People can say whatever they want behind closed doors and street corners, still, it is frightening when a rumour is considered proof (or carries any weight) in a court of law (like we often see in cases that go public). I don’t think good and evil are necessarily a thing. Being a good guy, I think, meant to win approval from the people around you. Not being one meant not wanting or caring about said approval. So you could choose your societal standing.

People who destroy personal propriety are not good people by any measure of the world. Today you start with a laptop, tomorrow with someone’s arm. Just like sadists start with animals. Best of luck. You do not depend on others. You are you. In your world you are the playable character, just as in my world I am the playable character. Others do not determine your worth, unless you let them. The first step would be to understand that in life you only have one constant friend - yourself. Others are ephemeral. Good luck on your journey. May you find what you desire. If you know from which angle to look, this thought is quite liberating. Live for yourself.

Would you cry if you were in a room with three people you don’t know and you really felt the need to let the flood gates open? You can’t control what people do or say (about you/ to you). However you can control how you react to what people say, that can either help you or be detrimental to you. I would also say that some of us have different ways of expressing emotions, for better or worse.

I am sorry. But I think a lot of you have misunderstood this. It has nothing to do with mental health (for me at least). I know my worth and I don’t seek validation from someone else. If you read carefully you will see that I only care about the societal environment we find ourselves in (each one of us, every day). Maybe there are people who need help. I do not know and I do not care. I am not one of them. I can’t feel shame because I don’t care about other people opinions. However, for example,…

Sadly self-control is not a skill that many can employ. I speak from experience, still learning to make my emotions serve me and no the other way around.Of course, I completely agree. Emotions (good or bad) should be expressed with people whom you trust. What I really meant to convey in my post is that publicly expressing emotions in a social or otherwise not familiar or comfortable environment, will most of the times lead to nothing good for the person expressing them (again, as observed by me …

This is what I like greatly about this forum. There are actual individuals here, actual people who think logically and rationally and not emotionally. I completely agree.
/r/MensRights31/10/23 09:32 AM

I don’t trust people I don’t know, regardless of sex. In my experience women are a little more “hidden” in their character. If a man (most of them at least) has an issue with you, he will come out and say it, I respect this greatly. If a woman has an issue with you, or sees you vulnerable, she will go behind your back. This, again, is from personal experience.
/r/MensRights31/10/23 08:57 AM

Share them with a modern woman and she will surely think less of you (the majority of them, at least - as demonstrated in the public space for years). I only speak of what I know and for my part of the world, but, it is may belief that people are alike all over the place (more or so). Of course these problems might be discussed with other men, like those in this forum.

If you have common goals like the rest of us sure. I don’t think my fellow forum colleagues would care what your alignment is, as long as you align yourself to the goal we all collectively chase. I, for example, want to be paid better, to impose respect and have better healthcare for my sex, and also separate spaces for my sex. I strongly believe these things I have just enumerated should be the concern of every man. I want to afford the life I want. I want my work to be paid fairly. Women enter…

This just proves women (the majority) should be treated like normal common people. We have too long placed women on a pedestal. This has not been harmful only for men, but also to them.

Because I am white. I can’t assume to know a world I don’t know. I am from Eastern Europe and I don’t know the problems of men of different races. Eastern Europe is not racially diverse. I can only speak of my lived experiences and of the collective I am part of. And of course of what I see around me. I can’t pretend to know or speak for men of different backgrounds. I am sorry if I did not expressed myself more clearly.

Welcome to the world it sucks. You are going to hate it. Pro tip: treat life like a joke and everybody as a passer by and you are going to actually enjoy your time in it.

tbh, I see men as competition. I do want to impose on my fellow men. But that might be just me. Also women are pretty impressed by men who dominate other men, even if they do not like to admit it. To be clear, I do not care what women want or think. I think men are natural competitors. And it is not always for women. Sometimes it is just to feel something. The thrill of the hunt, so to speak.

buddy, I am no one, you are no one. No one cares about our opinions. People need to start writing about common men who are subjected to abuse and other things. The media is always eager to report about common women (but not men). If only famous men deserve to be reported on than something is wrong. I fee no pity towards Depp. He is rich and powerful. He can afford lawyers. What about the rest of poor sods? Stop idolising actors.

I don’t give a fuck about Depp. He is everything I hate and despise. Stand with regular men who are too afraid to come out of abusive relationships and can’t afford mental and medical assistance. This rich boy actor fanboyism is pathetic.

if this sub is far right than I am from Zimbabwe (I am not, obviously). Do people really think this sub is far right (not sarcastic)? I am actually curious. I am new here. I don’t know what to say. Really. If this sub is considered far right than something is wrong with Reddit. This sub is clearly left of centre and slightly progressive (from the post I have seen).

Franco left it in his will for Juan Carlos to be reinstated. I am sorry but you are wrong. I know you are all leftists here (and I am going to be lynched for this) but don’t spread misinformation. Do you actually read history?

It is almost as people are individuals and not a hive mind hmm (some are tbh). I am truly afraid of people who believe everyone and everything. I am sorry for being edgy, but being paranoid really is a quality.

Shouldn’t a healthy society have Ministers for Men, Women, Children and Elderly? Isn’t a Minister a department that deals with a part of the society?

5’7 never understood why people are upset about their height. Sure there have been moments I wished I had been taller (only because it would give me an upper hand in a fight) but there are so many things you can change about you. Intelligence and muscle mass for example.

“right wing” is anything right wing today? Right wing as it was understood in the 19th century. My brothers in Christ. Forget leftism and rightism. We are on the third way, lol. The third way is the most perverse one. Very hard to attack a blob. You don’t have anything to latch on to (the same reason lions can’t attack a herd of zebras).

I don’t see a lot of women disavowing the feminist movement. Let’s not make the mistake of handing out pity like cotton candy. As the modern women like to remind us “silence is acceptance” and that has a nudge of truth. If women don’t want to be auto labelled as a feminist they should say that they don’t want to. I assure you, you as a male will always be labelled at something. This white knighting for women is disgusting. Are they weaker? Why do they need protection and from whom? If they truly…

What would humanity do without old fossils who work in Education, tell people what is dangerous for them? I think I personally will be fine. Don’t use AI, don’t need human contact except for sex. So yeah, allow me to not care.

weird. So if it is not a big deal, why are they so afraid of this? Shouldn’t you totally ignore a subject you have no interest in or you are not afraid of? Why are they so vehemently against it?

that is such an idiotic argument. Did you ask to be born? If you have no choice in an action why deal with the consequences? Why be grateful for something you have never asked for? For example, I ask someone for help, they help me. I am grateful to them because I explicitly asked for their help. I was in control and I made a choice. However I have no reason to be grateful for something I did not choose or had any agency in. Unsolicited help or opinions are just as annoying as apathetic people.

No one is dragging them down. People just post news or personal experiences. We are actually truly equalitarian, here. We treat women as every other regular Joe. Now, ask yourself…why is every regular Joe with a dick treated like crap? ;)). Good day.

I agree, however I believe a child is way too important to be gestated in a machine. Call me old fashioned but I still think a child should be born out of love, not convenience. Two people need to want the child, not only one of them(I mean people who marry especially for children, although that was the purpose of marriage since forever, at least in my opinion).

Usually people who want to actively fight for their countries in a conflict do so because they have a family, propriety or safety in that said country. No one fights for ideals. Ideals are for idiots. Or maybe there are people who are beige enough, who knows. This is my opinion at least.

You are on Reddit. What do you expect, really. Those of us who are here (on Reddit in general, not this sub) are here for a reason. I won’t say what is mine since it is not relevant for the conversation at hand. However, no one goes on the internet or on Reddit to have a dialogue. I don’t care about dialogues, no one cares tbh. Welcome to the internet. Stay with your crowd and everything is great.

I feel that the only way you can win a game which you have no desire to participate and it is utterly hard is not to play. So, just take care of yourself and ignore the rest. Simple.

I would say just be a woman. A real one, not a fake one. I have a feeling that when there will be a number of real women out there, real men will show up too. Just to be clear, my point being…if you can get things easy, why put in the work. The same applies to relationships, I would say. If relationships are so easily destroyed, that means that there is nothing of value there. People don’t just give up on things or people worth fighting for.

Just because you emerged from the same vagina, does not mean that you necessarily need to have a super-duper tight relationship with your sibling. We don’t choose family, but (at least in a sane world we would do it) we get to choose the people we hang out with. Do what you think is best for you. Best of luck.

Just say no. I would never fight or die for my country. Not because I am a coward (which in a way I am - why would that be a problem? - would you care if you were?) but because there is nothing for me there. The modern national state is just an amalgamation of collectives that might or might not share a common ancestry, nothing more, we have social structures that are designed to take care of the weak and the power relations with other states. Each collective is separated by social classes and o…
