Eh? So you're saying I should treat my husband different to my children but I should do some things the same. So essentially there is just some overlap but mostly I should treat him different. So I should not mother him? And there is a difference.

Because if you were you would know it would be incredibly strange to treat your life partner the same way as your kids, to call it a false dichotomy

Not really, in most guys I know treat it like an ick.... Is it just the men in your life?

I think this is probably a fair point. If you view all women as little girls, then how do you distinguish between younger girls who are just really are little girls and older women who are not
/r/PurplePillDebate18/07/26 12:11 PM
1

Yeah they're not. Neither are most men willing to do that for their wives. BUT there are some women who would want to do that. They are quite controlling. But I believe in you. You can find them

That's very black and white. Women dont always find a man to meet their needs. Needs that are met within a marital relationship is different to your needs in a parent-child relationship. No most men do not like fathering a wife in that way.

This isn't even a gender thing. What man wants a little girl to look after?

Ok, so as a mother I would treat my child like they have no idea what to do, and would have to do things for them like tidying, cleaning, but I would also restrict what they can do, they won't be able to make many decisions without me, and I would have a large say in their life. Same with my husband to our daughter (again we don't do this to one another). If that's what you want, then it's good to have that knowledge. There will be girls who prefer that

Often I find it's used to deflect an issue or talking point. If someone brings up the need for divorce, those on the red pill tend to say they should have chose better.

It tends to be they didn't treat them like s*** they treated them amazingly or tapped into some psychological need that they desperately wanted. And then slowly introduce the abuse a little bit by bit an increase it. It ends up being like drugs, where you are chasing the amazing high you got at the beginning. The majority of people will leave if someone is abuse right at the beginning

I kind of half agree with what everyone else is saying and I wouldn't really say it. I might instead say you should not have ignored the red flags, if they were red flags. But I agree with your point generally in that if you willingly chose to overlook issues to try and pursue a relationship with somebody who was Peter cheater or financially exploitative or something like that, or you constantly go for someone who has that and doesn't learn from it, then yes it might say something along those li…

That was a strange read. But To count to your point... Can I think it's more than possible to nurture and care for somebody in multiple ways. A mentor or a work boss does nurture and care for their employees, But that does not equal to parenting. The same way I would argue my husband definitely nurtures, supports and cares for me. But not in the same way that he would my daughter. Cuz she is a child and he needs to do more for her. Me on the other hand I am his partner, not a child whose entire …

/r/PurplePillDebate07/06/26 03:58 AM

So would any woman who never cheated.
/r/PurplePillDebate07/06/26 03:57 AM

Reasonable. But you should decide together if you want to know because that can mess people up emotionally.

/r/PurplePillDebate07/06/26 03:52 AM

I can't be trusted? My boy, no one on this earth would trust anyone to raise a kid with anyone if they are that thickle. Also what's point of this point? You haven't engaged with any actual discussion other than repeat the same thing with no thought or real explanation. Take some time, live in the real world, and then come back with some original thought.

My baby is her daddy's, beyond unknown sexual assault (which how tf would that happen?), baby being swapped at birth or he's chrimera, all my kids are his. But if he asked for a DNA test, he better have a good reason or it's coming with divorce papers. Marriage needs trust. If you don't trust me without a good reason then we have an issue. I agree with everyone else, if you want to leave leave. But if you feel you want to leave over every small thing they don't do, especially when it has little impact on you directly (i.e., getting a tattoo) then it's unhealthy and comes across as immature. There's also other factors to think about. Someone you started seeing, fine. Buy Leaving your wife or husband because they won't do a specific sex act.... I think it's a bit immature. But go ahead. Threatening to leave, yes that's coercive. I w…

Depends on the situation. People change.
/r/PurplePillDebate06/05/26 05:50 PM

I regularly hear women to stop picking idiots, and I believe lots of men do the same. But in red pill community i noticed when a woman says men can be x, y or z they said well you should pick better. But they themselves will complain women are whatever else.
/r/PurplePillDebate06/05/26 05:14 PM

Really because every time a man tells a story about his divorce I have never heard a red pill man say you should have chosen better. But to be honest the answer is is a stupid thing to say for most of the time whether it's a man or a woman. Most of the time people change, or circumstances change. You know most people get divorced after having a kid... There is a very good reason for that and it's not because the person wasn't a great and loving person beforehand. It's a different situation. It c…
/r/PurplePillDebate06/05/26 05:06 PM

Why don't guys tell other guys to choose better? If a woman taking you to court, taking your kids away, getting all your money, possibly not having your child.... Why are constantly about these women rather than saying choose better Generally curious.
/r/PurplePillDebate06/05/26 04:46 PM

You are the fountain of knowledge I suppose.
/r/PurplePillDebate29/04/26 07:31 PM

That's the context. You made her/him think it or knew that's what she/he wanted and were pretending to go with it. I generally agree if you didn't actually find out then it's kind of on you. But we're talking about someone misleading you
/r/PurplePillDebate29/04/26 07:31 PM

I wouldn't say 99% of the time. But I don't know how much of that is true or not.
/r/PurplePillDebate29/04/26 07:29 PM

Not all consequences fall on men. You guys just make it a guy Vs girl thing. Girls emotionally manipulate men to, I've seen it happen loads where she's just using him for sex because it makes her feel better about herself, the fool falls for it thinking he's found the one. And the guy gets hurt.
/r/PurplePillDebate29/04/26 07:26 PM

I mean both is a dick head thing to do. But I'd rather be ripped off for food than someone get my hopes up that I found someone meaningful and then just use me for my body and fck off. But if you would rather that emotional rollercoaster, more power to you.
/r/PurplePillDebate29/04/26 07:25 PM

Or she thought you were serious and legitimately trying to continue a serious relationship. Not that you were pretending. Sometimes you sleep with someone because you like them and feel it's going somewhere. But if someone was pretending.... Well. Then they were using them.
/r/PurplePillDebate29/04/26 07:23 PM

Yea that is frustrating too. It's because they're holding out hope you'd change your mind or playing it cool. People should just be honest and aceept the situation
/r/PurplePillDebate29/04/26 07:21 PM

Yea that's fine. But if you are purposely pretending you are looking for something serious and then ditching.... Then that's lying
/r/PurplePillDebate29/04/26 07:19 PM

Oh god that sounds intense. Literally just wait until a moment comes up, like... When you're talking about how long you've been dating for, you might ask "are you thinking of something serious". Like it's not deep. Guys ask me stuff like this on dates, I've been asked that by friends. Have you ever dated?
/r/PurplePillDebate29/04/26 07:18 PM

It just seems just seems like you're trying to throw it back on the other person. Just because you have a poor judge of character, or if somebody is trying to deceive you, doesn't mean you're not being used. It just means you can't tell you're being used.
/r/PurplePillDebate29/04/26 02:10 PM

I think it is possible to use someone just for sex. And don't get me wrong some people like being used. But what I would think of it as is either being dishonest about situationship. For example if you're pretending like this is something you see in the future, being really romantic and playing the role of boyfriend or girlfriend. Talking about future dates and showing a super sensitive considerate side of you. And then Wham, as soon as you have sex you don't bother to even talk to them again. T…

I think it should depend on your position on gender norms. If you are a person whose values reflect that a man should be the provider and the woman should be the care or maintainer. Then it makes sense that you reflect those values and pay for the date. If you want a relationship where it's more equal contributions and you have I don't know more equal say or whatever then yeah you shouldn't be expecting somebody to pay. My position also is if you are the type of person who wants to date to marry…

I find the competing with a top 10-20% of men stat a little bit silly to be honest with you, and misleading. Like This is only based on one study for how people behaved on one online platform. And it wasn't even peer-reviewed, It was just push out as some marketing. And even then they didn't even report how many people women we're actually contacting... Like to be fair on the study... I mean yea she's a 6-month old lol she doesn't really know what I'm saying, let alone what a boundary is. I think it depends on the person and what their skills are and what they enjoy best. For some people they absolutely love staying at home with the kids. For some people they love their job. I love my baby to bits. But Jesus Christ doing anything is challenging. If I try to tidy she comes in and interrupts me. I have ADHD. What was I doing 5 minutes ago? I don't know. I feel like the people who actually are affected by this though, are the women who expected to be married by their late twenties. And usually those women were looking for marriage and a boyfriend to commit, very keenly mid-20s. The problem was they're so desperate by the guys went for girls who were a bit more normal probably. Another factor to consider into the stats as a covariate is how many of those are not due to adultery and cheating, but rather children being swapped at birth. Which is shockingly a big more frequent than barely ever. Also some of those who are confident maybe so because of the due date and estimated conception date may have given them a false sense of over confidence. They knew the woman had other partners but thought those figures prove it's theirs. When in reality those were inaccurate. I'm s…

"but at the same time every single woman seems to have at least one experience of dating older?" How old? The oldest I've dated is 5 years. That was a bit much for me personally (ageism I know). Also having your shit together looks different at 21 than it does at 34, both are fine and attractive, but are different priorities.

I think some girls like it. It's what you want that's forbidden, or often it makes you feel superior, better, etc. It's often less about the guy and more about the feeling of being on top or better... Not always but often. You might often hear of the other woman constantly putting the main one down, that's not always because they want to be better for the guy, but to prove they won the competition. But from what I've noticed you rarely get guys comparing themselves with the other guy (you may ha…

I agree that the dating field is set up for women to be more selective, where men have to do more to attract women and women are a bit more selective. However, from what I've seen and know about dating preferences, this is a small part of a bigger picture for men and women want from relationships... To discuss your main assumption at your point, men seek to get laid and get upset when they don't have it. I find it weird that the same men who complain women aren't going for them seem to think they will get 25 year old women when they are old..... or are they different people? I would like this explained if you can help

Or maybe you are making assumptions and over simplifying about an experience you have not lived, while telling the people who have lived it they are wrong.

No one is telling you if you be nice you get a girlfriend... people are saying, don't be mean or be terrible people. Expecting sex or a gf because you are "nice"... What is actually happening is your boss is telling you how to just to be a generally decent colleague, you do it superficially and with bad intentions, the bad intentions show, and you ask why you aren't getting promoted.... Stating I did everything you wanted... then another person comes along, is nice to people because they are gen…

I think you are oversimplifying something that isn't all that. Also I don't quite understand your references, having less orgasms during casual hooks ups... Does that mean they don't get anything from them at all? And how does that mean they don't have much of a libido?

I think there's a lot of gaps in your view... In the article it says 20% of women are childless. About a fifth of them actively chose not to or couldn't have kids. But they didn't say why the rest didn't have kids. Maybe they were indifferent, like if it happened it happened, but aren't sad about it. Maybe it was their partner who couldn't or didn't want to. Maybe they aren't in a financial position too. Like... To say they probably want a husband (without knowing how many actually did have a hu…

What is with red pill people over generalising.... you should NEVER do X because all men want this and all women want this....and if someone doesn't want that, they are an exception to the rule that should not be factored.... Based on views on a subreddit where people's views are limited rather than a representative population. How does it make sense??? Hmmm id say half maybe, and the other half were chasing 7-9's, when they were clearly a bit under average. Weirdly enough though. What settled it for me (but this anecdotal) it was when I was going back up. When I was starting to get attention again, it was not from the people who were average looking or lower than average (and yes I know looks is subjective but from a society perspective) I was getting more attention from people who were out of my league and super attractive. I wish men were that easy.... It's easier for women I suppose, but it's not easy. When people say this what I think the reality is, is men who struggle to get laid see some average to attractive women who can laid almost whenever they want. thanks to a lot of the recent feminist issues there's been a lot to undo the worst. Sexual violence is still a major issue (for me too albeit potentially less reported), however there have been great improvements. I don't know why people are so upset about the gender pay gap. Before my current role I worked in an industry where we compared it. We did find that there was a gender pay gap across three companies. It mostly affected women, but also affected men. Yeah the last point is a big one. I think dating younger used to be easy but now with this economy, you need a 2 income household just to afford rent in many places I live near. But I think it's the type of person as well. We all click differently too. As much as I would never want to date someone 5-10 years older than me, if I was to be completely honest, if I met someone that age who connected with me the same way my husband does (who is 1 year older, and when I was single) then I would say ok…
