This subreddit was a mistake lol. So many men (and women tbf) think the way this guy does, and it’s in large part due to trash like this sub. And no amount of explanation will change their minds, they all have 1 or 2 sociological studies and a handful of bad personal experiences that they use to back up their bullshit. We don’t have a loneliness epidemic, we have a loser epidemic.

And there were always taller 6’0+ sex symbols throughout every decade of Hollywood history as well. In recent years you can see Tom holland, Jonas brothers, kit Harrington, Bruno mars, Dave Franco and plenty of others in the 5’6-5’9 range who plenty of women find attractive. Maybe not the tippy top of the “sex symbol” food chain, but doing just fine.

The onus shouldn’t be on the people giving the advice. If the person wants specific advice they should reflect on themselves, which takes self awareness and isn’t always easy. But if you figure out what your specific problems are, then you can ask for more relevant advice. Knowing what your problems are is half the battle, and a stranger on the internet can’t mind read your entire life situation and personality from across the globe. Nah karma doesn’t exist. But if someone does have self destructive behavior it’s bound to catch up to them eventually. If someone’s a carefully maintained asshole, karma might never get them.

Sorry, but I’m basically arguing against you lol. I think short men can do fine, it’s just there’s less of them so you see less out and about. Are there fewer options? Sure, but same for almost any physical trait a human can have.

There also just aren’t that many short men statistically in most parts of the western world, so you’re going to see less short men dating in general, than average height men. I think this is way overlooked in the discussion.
