I thought the definition went two ways for the victims and for the rapist as in the penetration of the vagina or anus without one persons consent meant rape. Because we know that 99 % of sexual assault perpetrators are men and we know that 1 in 6 women will live an attempted rape or be raped. Rape culture is real. Rape is insanely normalized and even joked about. When we know only a minority of victims come forward to the police, it is important to show to those that they are appreciated so other victims feel safe to come forward too. Making a false claim of sexual assault is an horrendous crime that is punished. I know my comment is going to be deleted but I wish to any person who is reading this and agreeing with OP to take a look in the mirror and ask themselves what brought them to be so misogynistic. I am seeing people talking about how women are deciding to focus on careers instead of a family and painting this as an atrocity.
