To be fair the one thing I find lacking in the the men don't cry rule, being enforced mainly by other men theory is that. hear me out, we might not know who came up with the rule in the first place. But it doesn't make sense that the ones who understand the feeling of having to hide their emotions would be the ones enforcing it. You know the struggle, so why would you want others to feel that struggle?

Until the 1940's there's, been a consistent wave of drafting boys and men into a societies military to fight against other countries. All from the ancient times.. Until 1940 which is such a long long long time. But I guess being drafted to a war to die at a young age and having all your dreams in life to be thrown into a furnace is just a small matter.

I'll be honest about it. I actually wrote that comment. I was detailing how much hate there is between people, just because they are of different genders. I don't know why but I wrote girls instead of women. Sometimes when I type, I tend to write words without thinking. It's a habit I believe I am getting better at not repeating. Actually my attempt was to rationalize the effects of the sexual repression of women. Such a course of plan may be bordering to traditional and TRP lifestyle, and we all know how Feminism has a"woke"n the world. I find it that even in countries that are anti-feminists, there's a strong element of knowledge in the movements ideology by it's citizens. It may not be much now, but it will only expand. Social media will become the platform for that, and sexual repression will most likely be found out…

If mens rights is to restrict women's sexuality, it's not gonna fair well with people who don't acknowledge the human rights and wellbeing of men and boys as important. To be blunt, there's a chance mens disposability will increase. And doing that in a record high world suicide rate is gonna change the world tremendously. It's not up to me to decide mens rights as a whole. And i humbly acknowledge that, but restrictions on such notions is definitely not the way.

Even if masculinity is embraced, everybody needs a breather and release the bottled up emotions. Releasing your emotions every once in a while is not a gender thing. To imply so is a sexist thing. men are not robots or invincible pillars that are used as pawns to serve society at the cost of their wellbeing.

While I get what you say, but i think that's not the full extent of it. You see, when people make something as to be a joke. People will see it as a joke. An example of that effect is the losers who downvote my comment above will be the ones crying in their bedrooms in the dark when their girlfriend calls them to man up, cheats on them with another man and their friends have a laugh at them.

The only bad thing Masculinity offered me were 'the no showing feelings'. The rest were pretty good things. For example, sacrificing ones needs to help others and learning to take responsibility for my actions and the duties that are entrusted to me. I find those to be invaluable to me and I wouldn't trade them for anything else. In all my experiences, Masculinity wasn't the one who told me to do certain things and be a specific way, it wasn't the one who left me alone when I was trigger warning…

They would say "why don't they tell us their problems, he should speak" Once you do, "why are you putting us through emotional labor" If you reasoned with them that by their logic that the time you supported them is considered emotional labor, they will say it is love and support.
