Are you stupid? I’ve said I think 3 different times now in 3 different comments that I voted for Harris, not Trump. And I did that in a swing state, thank you very much. But I’m sure you won’t read this and will just attack me as a Trump voter again, which I am not. I don’t know what Harris would have been like as president, but I do know what she was like as VP and I do know what she was like as a presidential candidate. Harris is well spoken but not particularly relatable or empathetic to most…

Okay well you basically shared an opinion, then I shared an opinion, and you told me what I said was an opinion not the truth, so I told you what you said is an opinion not the truth. So unless you want to keep going in circles more let’s mutually drop it. For some reason I think you are under the assumption I voted for Trump, I did not. I’ve only acknowledged Trump was a better candidate than both Harris and Clinton because he knows how to get his base passionate, which neither Harris/Clinton k…

If we’d hired Harris we’d have 4 more yrs of 2T annual debt. For 15 years I’ve told myself I’d support the candidate who makes an actual attempt at balancing the budget, it’s my #1 issue above everything else, I don’t agree with the tariff war but I do agree with the work DOGE is doing (even if I think the pace should be slower, the gov is not a tech company). And again, I voted blue/Harris in a swing state, because Trump is a an untrustworthy prick, but I can at least acknowledge he’s taking dr…

Just like it’s your opinion both female candidates were miles above the male candidate.

No, it’s the truth. Morally they were absolutely hands down better people that DJT, I’m not contesting that in the slightest. Beyond that, what did they stand for policy-wise? Most of the rhetoric was along the lines of “I won’t do what DJT wants to do” not “I will do XYZ”. “I’m not the other candidate” may be re-assuring but it’s hardly compelling. And fwiw, I did actually vote Harris last year, and in the swing state of AZ as well.

Pick better female candidates, the only 2 from my lifetime have been par/decent at best.

I’m going to stop commenting now for real though. Talking to delusional people, be it men or women, is exhausting and I have better ways to spend my day. Best of luck to you with whatever it is you do. Cheerio

You told me I’ve been nothing but a disappointment since birth, I just thought I’d show you how oblivious you are. I hope you’ve at least got a good career going for yourself and aren’t working some retail job. I see a hateful old cat lady who’s been burned by some past relationships and gets off to spitting venom at every male redditor she can find. That’s fine I guess, you do you. Side note: I only mentioned your response length because you mentioned I made 2 comments, both short btw. The hypo…

Grrr, I’m so mad grrrrrrrr. Let’s also ignore that you typed more than me in 1 comment than I did in 2 princess. FWIW I make 190k and in the best shape of my life, don’t worry about me. And don’t put words into my mouth lmfao.

Ohh, you meant it was a dead bedroom because he was already using porn? Okay yeah that’s a more understandable situation, make him pick/choose you or porn, not both. Glad to hear things are improving though! :)

It’s not about whether you are or are not important to him, if he’s not allowed any sexual outlet he needs to repress his biological needs/urges. For most men it feels unhealthy and unnatural. He could be head over heels for you and still feel sexually frustrated in a dead bedroom + no porn situation. I’ll go back to what I said before… porn or intimacy or end the relationship is usually what it comes to.

I am using an over simplified all inclusive “theoretically objective” measure, not just looks based. I.e. when I say a 7/10 or a 2/10 I mean that in respect to an overall rating that might weigh looks but also weighs ambition/drive, career/financial, character, etc. I am not speaking purely about looks.

In general porn is REALLY important to men as a stimulus when they do not have real intimacy to replace it. It’s fair to ask a man to cut out porn entirely if he’s got an active bedroom, but most men won’t be willing to do it in a dead bedroom (there may be some exceptions) unless he’s cheating. Using imagination for masturbation works in a pinch, but it’s not something sustainable long-term for most men and definitely not as a life-long replacement to both real sex and porn.

He is saying modern women have higher standards than modern men and a modern obese woman may value herself above an equivalent modern obese man. Similar idea to a 3/10 attraction woman wanting a 4/10 or 5/10 attraction man instead of an equal level 3/10 attraction man. There are also marginally more obese women than men at least in the USA (34.1% vs 32.6% = 4.6% relative increase (34.1/32.6)).

Unless that’s a conversation that was had up front, I don’t think the vast majority men will be content never having stimulated sex or masturbation again, this is a massive sacrifice to make if only made in the name of a moral or ethical code. This also seems like the sort of stance that can be very easily misunderstood between two partners, where one is okay with it and thinks the other is okay with it when they’re actually not. Not saying that’s the case with you, but I could imagine that happ…

A dead bedroom relationship that also has porn off limits sounds like a miserable experience. Why torture yourself like that? Either end the dead bedroom or open the relationship to porn or end the relationship.

Idk I can see a lot of socially anxious or introverted men wanting long term relationships with similar shut-in women, because well these men were going to be shut-ins anyway. I think that subset of men is much larger than the Reddit community as well, it’s probably a lot smaller than the outgoing/extroverted crowd to be sure, but it’s still a pretty big crowd.

Some people also have an extraordinarily inflated sense of self worth, especially in this day and age. There are 2/10 women who think they are 9/10 women and will reject 7/10 men with as much spite as they would expect a 9/10 woman to. That’s not to say everyone is like that, but those people do exist.

Just going to put my opinion here, don’t mind me. Paternity test: always thought this should be required at time of birth, still adhere to this belief. Escape fund: I support it when somebody thinks they may need it, but I also don’t think it has a place in a normal healthy relationship. So get one if you suspect your spouse is becoming violent or hiding violent tendencies or is cheating etc etc etc. But if you and your spouse are perfectly happy and trusting of one another, don’t create an esca…

Men find women extremely threatening, just for different reasons. We don’t find them physically threatening for the most part at least though (outside of certain domestic violence situations).

I think both sides will ultimately benefit indirectly from sex robots though, men and women both. It filters out a lot of the ones (particularly men) who are only dating for sex, because they can satisfy their needs with a sex robot instead. The ones that are left, on both sides, are more likely to actually want a relationship because they are still dating despite having the option to buy a sex robot. This will make them better partners on the whole.

I don’t think so, it’s really just a supply/demand problem. Men demand sex. The supply is women. Add supply (robots) and it decreases the value proposition of women. Conversely, the opposite is also true. Women demand sex. The supply is men. Add supply (robots) and it decreases the value proposition of men. The side that has a higher demand for sex will benefit more overall from sex robots and the other side will see their value decrease. Simple supply/demand.
