I don't know why your comment starts with a "Lol" or why you thought it was necessary to downvote me. There isn't much reason to be (passive-)aggressive. Why shouldn’t women be dishonest about their (un)happiness? Maybe they are dishonest for the same reason why men are dishonest on this topic?

I think it's less about being single or being happy, and more about being dishonest and/or smugly trash-talking men?

Are other women in this equation betas or incels? … Generally, a rather boring/poor attempt to pat yourself on the back

You have to admit, it's kinda hilarious that a woman "who care about men, and men's issues" is an active member of the 4B and Radical Feminism subreddits and apparently also likes to rant about men from time to time. Here, take my downvote; you have earned it.

Feminists have no problem attacking men’s insecurities if it serves their cause. That can be height, penis size, hand size, skin color (or anything else about Donald Trump), or the number of sexual partners. You really don't need to put feminists on a pedestal in this regard. Well, actually a not insignificant part of self-proclaimed feminists say that you are discriminating against overweight women if you categorically exclude them as partners. Some even call you transphobic if you don't want t…

That sounds like a low effort rage bait; next time I expect you to put 100% into it

I'm objectively too stupid to quote, so I will give up on that. The emphasis in your sentence is on "tends"; the more complex the social structures, the less one-sided the whole thing becomes. Then surely you won't mind listing these stats, right?

> There are many monogamous mammals are some even mate for life, even in those situations the male animal is still generally the pursuer and initiator. That's a classic straw man argument. I never claimed there are no monogamous mammals. > Women generally do bring more to relationships that men do, but i agree people referring to themselves as the 'prize' is silly. By saying that women bring more to the relationship than men, you are exactly one of those people.

Yes, in the animal world, many males pursue females. But it should also be noted that males do this primarily for reproduction. When it comes to companionship, the situation is quite different: In many cases, the males ditch the females as soon as the deed is done. That aside; I think we should stop calling people "the prize" (this means that women also need to take a hard look at themselves here). A relationship shouldn't be about attributing values to people

That is certainly a point of view that can be taken. But is there actually any proof that this theory is true and not simply something that has been established by society? I mean, what would be the evolutionary/biological advantage of women wanting men less than vice versa?

I think you give men more credits as they deserve. Me and many men probably don't think about female dating standards while we joke about simps. I also disagree with your second point. I actually think it’s the other way around; female enablers have harmed women far more than simps could ever harm men. Red Pill, hook-up artists, growing misogyny ... Of course, women shouldn’t be blamed for this alone, but their behavior does at least played a role in this (even if many don’t want to admit it ...…

The difference I see is that men socially shame simps, while it apparently doesn't happen in the other direction for female enablers (at least from my humble perspective as a man). Furthermore, I have to disagree with you: pointing at enablers is the only and best way for us as a society to reduce bad behavior. From a psychological perspective, one of humans' greatest primal fears is being excluded from the group, which drives behavior that contradicts our selfish impulses (I don't want to elabo…

I think it’s reasonable to assume that the number of victims and the number of perpetrators aren’t equal.

I'm blindly assuming that this claim is based on this white paper: https://doi.org/10.1016/j.stueduc.2018.07.006

Men don't have, as proven with the "woman-are-wonderful" phenomenon, the in-group thinking that women have. They won't side with a man just because he is a man. They see the drama and will slowly back off. It's more a subconscious process, than an active choice; so, I'm not sure if "bad friend" is the right word here. But you are right with the demand that this is something men should work on.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
