Women commit fewer crimes overall. Both parties have lowering crime rates overall. The appearance of the stats you provided is largely due to a) crime law restructuring, and b) men's rates dropping faster than women's rates. We just looked at this topic in a few criminology courses last year.

Thank you for that. I actually appreciate that. I hope you have a good day

Then you write that in for both people. But he didn't even try to navigate these options. He just heard her try to protect herself when he's already talking about the end of a relationship, yet somehow that was so awful of her that he decided to just leave. Interesting how that works.

Then it sounds like you two aren't compatible, because those are two very different approaches to parenting.

That's the point of a prenup. He's making his exit plan. She does the same and suddenly he should run from her? Doesn't that mean she should have run from him first?

Exactly. I don't get this. He asked for a prenup to protect his assets. She asked to include something to protect herself and incentive working on/not ending the relationship, but SHE'S the one being selfish? Dude ended the relationship after she asked.

That's interesting. She was uncomfortable with your asking for a prenup, but tried to work with it and ensure you had incentive to stay in the relationship and work things through long term, but when you didn't like that she also wanted protection, you left her and felt she was unworthy. So you could dish, but couldn't take. It sounds like it was good for her that you broke things off if you've got that kind of double standard.

Could you make it children dependent? In other words, if you have children and the agreement is she stays home with the kids, you give her half the take home? Or if you stay home with kids full time, she gives you half the take home? If one will manage full-time child care or the arranging of things for kids (e.g., schools, doctors, dentists, lessons, etc.), that person gets something? If you're both working full time and are able to take care of yourselves, then yeah, I'm not sure what the poin…

Sure thing, sparky.

Yeah, as I said, a three second Google search shows that about 85% are owned by men.

VS spent decades being owned by men. So have most of the major fashion and clothing and cosmetic brands. It's a bit of a weird hill to die on on your part. You understood the point of the song. You understand the history of these companies and their ownership. It discredits this community when members do this.

And yeah. As you yourself said, the CURRENT CEO is a man. It's cool to have opinions, but when people start spewing "facts" that aren't real, it discredits the opinions that go with it.

Yeah, try looking up the top 50 clothing companies and try again, smart one.

Ooo 😬 hate to break it to ya, but I just did two more 3-second searches on what percentage of cosmetic and clothing brands are owned by women.... You're looking at about 15%. Sorry. But again. It is easier to blame it on women...

Yeah, so I did the 3 second Google search and saw it was owned by a man who sold primary shares to a private equity firm just a few years ago when there were concerns about his involvement with Epstein. The current CEO is a man. The president and both the next two top people in charge are men, too. The firm over VS is also owned by men. So yeah. Maybe it wouldn't be so embarrassing if you'd take the three seconds to look it up before commenting, and if people liking your comment also looked it u…

Sad thing is they don't check men for it most places/times, even though hpv can cause penile and anal cancers, too. Plus it's not just oral that spreads it. Even kissing can. Until a couple years ago, I had no idea the tests didn't include HPV. Kind of shocking that not only are vaccines not pushed for half the population, but we can all be carriers without even knowing it, so we wouldn't have an easy time protecting ourselves or our partners. I did some digging and found some research showing t…

True. It took time for me to set an appointment and sort payment options. A man I know died of throat cancer last year, and it was gruesome. His neck was swollen huge, with a large visible growth. Couldn't swallow whole foods, tried fighting it but died. He was only in his 50s. I know others who have had other cancers from HPV, and had to have surgery. One person was a married woman who had to have a hysterectomy within a few years of getting married/meeting her husband, right after their first …

Ha, yeah, I don't get to everything on my sometimes non-existent lists, either. You're right that the ones it protects against are the problematic ones. I got a sore arm and tiredness for a day, then was back to normal. If you do get it, it wasn't bad. Took about 10 minutes for me, including wait time, so was easy to do right after work. Good luck!

Yeah, most of us get it (more than once) at different points, but if you're still sexually active with new partners, or even if you just deep kiss new partners, you could get a dangerous strain you haven't had before. There are over 100 strains of it, with a handful being dangerous. You could also be a carrier for a dangerous strain right now and not know it, because men don't get tested. The vaccine won't help with strains we already have. They tried to tell me I was probably safe and didn't ne…

Yo, we should all get the vaccine if not allergic to the ingredients. It's not just going down- it's sex and even kissing. Men don't get tested for HPV, and women only get tested at annuals. There's no way to know who is a silent carrier. We mostly all get HPV at some point, but the handful of strains that lead to cancer are included in the HPV vaccine. I just got my first one as an adult.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
