Spot on man. I have been doing all of this as well. Great advice

Dude, read some of my first posts from 2-3 years ago. Our stories seem very similar. I discovered my wife’s affairs and started doing some detective work. I uncovered 4 affairs over the course of 6 years. Also we’d been together for over 20 years and have three kids. Do yourself a favor and plan your exit. You will become half the man you were if you haven’t already. I became a shell of myself and was such a mental mess. I stayed with her for over four years knowing that she was a cheating piece…

I like that man thanks for this. I wish you the best.

Dude thanks for sharing your story. I’m going through divorce right now after discovering that my soon to be ex wife cheated on me for at least 6 years and with multiple men. It’s been a painful journey but I’m starting to come out. I also see your comments to someone here challenging you. You don’t need to explain yourself. Best of luck to you brother.

Dude I feel you first hand. Take a look back at some of my posts if needed. Summary is that 5 years ago I caught my wife cheating on me. After catching her through a text thread that I saw I actually spied on her phone for 3 months before letting her in on the fact that I knew some of what she was doing. I should also mention that we have three kids. The spying that I did allowed me to see that there was a lot more going on than just one guy or simple cheating. I was foolish and let my wife conv…

Yeah we’re divorcing. Paperwork is submitted and we’re waiting on a date. She bought me out of the house and I’m looking for a new place. Everything is pretty much separated and done at this point but just waiting for our court date to finalize the divorce

If I was ever asked the same thing before it happened to me I would have said the same thing but when you have three kids, a home and are middle class it’s not as easy. But I get where you’re coming from

No she dropped all of her hijinx once I caught onto her. At least I think so. You can look back at my story. It’s all out here. I stuck with her for four years after but I just couldn’t get over it. We’ve been going through divorce for the past 8 months. The paperwork is in with the courts and we’re waiting for our date

My stbxw cheated on me a ton. Not once have I begged her. 😁

I stuck around for over four years after discovering my stbxw affairs. I am with you. I wish I kicked her out of the fucking house right away.

That’s a great move for you and I’m glad it’s working out. That’s exactly what I was gonna try and do here with my situation, but there are no three bedroom units available right now in my town. My town is kind of unique in the sense that there are very few apartment buildings compared to most cities around us. Thanks for sharing this best of luck to you.

This was exactly one of my thoughts

I like this thanks and this is what I’m working towards for sure. Only thing that is hard for me is that there is no three bedroom apartments available in our town. So that makes it hard to do. But I have looked into this route thanks

The boys do know why we’re divorcing yes. Not the details but the know she cheated and fucked things up for me/us

I would welcome this for sure

So neither of us can really afford to buy the other out of the house. It’s not something I wanted to take on. She will be house poor for sure. This is her way of keeping things somewhat normal for the kids as she knows she fucked up our family with her cheating and affairs. I’m happy to take my equity and find something I can afford

You nailed my feelings exactly here. This is where I’m at and why I’m doing the best I can to stay in the same town. Might I add that she had 6 years worth of affairs and cheating on me. That’s what I discovered at least. So this shit kills me that I could ever play second fiddle

I tried staying with my wife for over four years after discovering her affairs. Yes plural. And it’s probably the same with your WW. The four years I stayed, my mental health suffered so much and so will yours. You will never be able to move forward with her. You will never trust her again or look at her with those eyes. She has forever fucked up your family. It’s a fact. I have three kids and I stayed for them. But it just got to be too painful. Everyday sucked for me. I couldn’t be myself arou…

Love it. I agree so much. “Forgiveness is for you”. My stbxw cheated on me for years. I tried to get over it but just couldn’t. This phrase goes right along with the whole “marriage 2.0” stuff after they cheated on you and you need to start over in a “new” relationship with that cheating piece of shit.

Thanks again man. I really like this and need to keep it in the forefront of my brain

Dude I love this post and needed to hear it. In the middle of divorce here and still under the same roof until we sell in the next min or two. It sucks. I love “build loudly”. Thanks for this

Thanks for this man. Really appreciate you sharing this. I am actually currently trying the "stop jerking off" recommendation. And I agree with you, I was having back pain from the 10mg dose as well. There was other weird symptoms as well and what I heard is that they would go away.

yeh that's good to hear. Thakns for sharing. Cialis is what I have and it's 10mg but I was directed to take it only as needed so it's not something I've taken regularly

Guy who’s wife cheated on him here and we’re 5 months into getting divorced now. From doing plenty of research on my situation and having had plenty of therapy due to what she did to me (my stories are also out here) I just wanted to back you up and say that your post is spot on. Only thing I would add is to read “no more Mr nice guy”. Best of luck to you man and to all of us out here.

Hey man, thank you so much for this. I am one one of the guys in the thick of the shit right now. My stbxw had a 3 year affair and there was two other affairs that I discovered as well. I stayed for over four years. They were so painful. We have three kids. I am setting out to be the best I can be as well and already working on all that you advise. Your message is great and people like me always need this reassurance. You know first hand. I’m also so happy for you with all that you have become. …

As the husband who was cheated on by his STBXW of 20 years/25 together I do tell a fair amount of people the “why”. Why do I do that? I’ll tel you because I am a male and people automatically assume that we are the ones who cheated and created problems for our relationship. I feel guilty enough about our marriage failing because of her actions and decisions.

I will tell you this my friend, I stuck with my cheating wife for over 4 years after discovering her affairs. Yes plural. Not sure what I was thinking. I was doing it for our 3 kids. But the mental pain just got to be too much and a couple of months ago I told her I wanted a divorce and started the process. I felt like a weight was lifted off my shoulders once moving forward with divorce. I'm telling you this as hopefully you can just see it as you doing what was right for you and what would hav…
