| 1 | Men care too much about women's approval and getting laid.Breaking news the sky is blue | /r/PurplePillDebate | 30/06/24 01:14 AM |
| 8 | What non-anecdotal evidence do we have that women are happier in marriage now than they were in historical retrospective?Because if she hasn’t been working for the entirety of the children’s lives she doesn’t have a career or savings to fall back on | /r/PurplePillDebate | 04/06/24 03:08 PM |
| 13 | What non-anecdotal evidence do we have that women are happier in marriage now than they were in historical retrospective? Is he being punished or is he doing the right thing by ensuring his children and the mother of his child have some provisions once the marriage has ended lol | /r/PurplePillDebate | 04/06/24 02:51 PM |
| 1 | I don't buy the narrative that single, childless women are the happiest groupWhy is it so baffling that some people don’t want to be partnered? | /r/PurplePillDebate | 04/06/24 11:44 AM |
| 2 | I don't buy the narrative that single, childless women are the happiest groupBut no one is being forced to be single lol, single childless women are often single and childless by choice. It’s not as if becoming partnered is the hardest thing in the world 😂😂😂. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 04/06/24 11:39 AM |
| 5 | I don't buy the narrative that single, childless women are the happiest groupI wouldn’t be happy if they died, but I also wouldn’t pause my entire life because of grief, because that’s not what they would want for me and that’s not what I want out of life for myself | /r/PurplePillDebate | 04/06/24 11:37 AM |
| 3 | I don't buy the narrative that single, childless women are the happiest groupNo it’s just someone saying they don’t rely solely on their partner for happiness | /r/PurplePillDebate | 04/06/24 11:34 AM |
| 1 | Do you think men should ever show emotion in front of a woman?I don’t think it’s a “bad” idea per se but it depends on the woman. She might not necessarily shame you or see you differently for showing emotions but if she isn’t that emotionally expressive herself she might think there’s an incompatibility there (which is okay). | /r/PurplePillDebate | 02/06/24 02:13 PM |
| 3 | As much blame as women get for the current situation, a big part of the problem is the desperation of men. I regularly see dudes calling the most average or even below average women “hot” or “beautiful.”Attraction and beauty aren’t universal lmao | /r/PurplePillDebate | 25/05/24 10:27 PM |
| 3 | One of the most important things for men to realise is that women don't actually care about you as a human being.I would actually say the opposite is more true | /r/PurplePillDebate | 19/05/24 12:12 PM |
| 3 | Should we feel bad for mediocre wives who get cheated on by attractive, high-status, husbands? It takes two consenting people to be in a relationship, presumably both people are entering knowing they can commit or at least try to commit to the conditions of the relationship. Also how can anyone “predict” infidelity? | /r/PurplePillDebate | 01/05/24 05:51 PM |
| 53 | Should we feel bad for mediocre wives who get cheated on by attractive, high-status, husbands? He shouldn’t marry someone he shouldn’t be faithful to, why is his infidelity her fault? | /r/PurplePillDebate | 30/04/24 11:27 AM |
| – | "love yourself before anyone can love you" etc. is ultimately insinuating people with serious problems should be alone and it's wrong for them to dateThanks 😊 | /r/PurplePillDebate | 22/04/24 09:34 AM |
| – | "love yourself before anyone can love you" etc. is ultimately insinuating people with serious problems should be alone and it's wrong for them to dateWorked really hard to get a “good” job at a youngish age (early 20s) so I had money for things like therapy and hobbies. Did a lot of inner work prior to therapy like journaling and shrooms. Also got into fitness which has helped me develop my self esteem a lot, not because of weight loss but because committing to exercising a few days a week demonstrates I love myself enough to do things I don’t enjoy short term for long term personal benefit. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 22/04/24 09:29 AM |
| – | "love yourself before anyone can love you" etc. is ultimately insinuating people with serious problems should be alone and it's wrong for them to dateI didn’t say you have PTSD from the situation, I said the experience with your ex girlfriend traumatised you. Your definition of normal doesn’t apply to me because I, too, have been through traumatic things. Sorry to hear about your mom and wishing you healing going forward. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 22/04/24 09:26 AM |
| – | "love yourself before anyone can love you" etc. is ultimately insinuating people with serious problems should be alone and it's wrong for them to dateAgreed as someone who was depressed when they were younger. Doing much better now and grateful I did the work to recover and didn’t harm too many people in the process. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 22/04/24 09:20 AM |
| – | "love yourself before anyone can love you" etc. is ultimately insinuating people with serious problems should be alone and it's wrong for them to dateYou say you didn’t get PTSD from this but in other comments you say it destroyed your ability to trust, so clearly it left you traumatised to some extent, which is okay and understandable. No one is obligated to date anyone who they don’t deem themselves as compatible with and if someone doesn’t deem themselves as being compatible with someone mentally ill, that’s okay. It’s better for people to date people they won’t end up resenting. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 22/04/24 09:16 AM |
| – | "love yourself before anyone can love you" etc. is ultimately insinuating people with serious problems should be alone and it's wrong for them to dateAlso when you’re depressed you’re more likely to be unable to see how people do love you because of your paradigm | /r/PurplePillDebate | 22/04/24 09:11 AM |
| – | "love yourself before anyone can love you" etc. is ultimately insinuating people with serious problems should be alone and it's wrong for them to dateWhy wouldn’t it give someone PTSD? Have you ever dealt with someone who’s been in psychosis or active addiction? Even if you have and you’re unscathed, not everyone is like you. People have different tolerances and everyone should go for what will fit within those tolerances. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 22/04/24 09:10 AM |
| – | "love yourself before anyone can love you" etc. is ultimately insinuating people with serious problems should be alone and it's wrong for them to dateI disagree and I think it’s moreso encouraging people to lay a healthy foundation for relationships before entering into them. Dealing with someone who doesn’t love themselves is difficult on both sides. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 22/04/24 09:08 AM |
| -1 | Women are unfair in dating so there’s no obligation for men to be fair in dating🎯 | /r/PurplePillDebate | 21/04/24 09:26 AM |
