I don’t think any of the narratives here can change my level of happiness at this age. I think it was a lot worse when I lurked on here as a younger woman, the narrative can definitely radicalize a young, impressionable person.
I feel like they wouldn’t even listen. No point in trying. I hope they will come to their senses on their own eventually. RP is like a virus you have to get over sometimes.
I’m new here but I used to lurk on here years ago and there were plenty of people in good relationships. Seems like they’ve left so PPD is kinda unrecognizable to me.
Proved my point that you have no reading comprehension… “Hot men love hot women” is a general statement, not referring to myself. If I was lusting over these men, I would be talking about myself, not “women”. I won’t even bother explaining my sexuality to you bc you’re too low IQ to understand it.
There are a bunch of us here who are in happy relationships/marriages but enjoy the gender war debates. This isn’t an incel forum lol… And yeah I do troll. I’m intellectual irl, so there’s no reason for me to login and be intellectual outside of my real life.
Some guys are like this, especially when the girl broke up with him and he really loved her. I’ve encountered a few men who were hung up on their first love. The easy way out is to date a man who doesn’t have a first love. If you can’t do that, then date a man who’s over her and doesn’t bring her up or stay in touch with her. It’s definitely possible to move on from it, some just take longer than others.
Situationships are just another type of casual sex, alongside FWB, ONS or whatever else you wanna call it. You can absolutely still wait for commitment to have sex and choose not to participate in hookup culture. There are still people who approach dating this way… people who do hookups just don’t come across them bc they’re not a match for each other.
True, I do think it comes from a lack of self esteem. I noticed this in my friends who’ve have been in those situations. When a woman lacks self worth, she gets hung up on a man who wants nothing to do with her. She chases and tries to win him over bc she needs his validation to feel better about herself.
Clearly these ladies have one special person. But yeah I agree nobody’s perfect, relationships take work and it’s a matter of loving a person for their positives and flaws.
What I noticed from my friends who’ve been hung up on a guy… they tend to be insecure women so they need the validation from that one guy. They try super hard to win him over, I think him not liking her makes her go crazy. I’m the same way as you, I got turned off when a man wasn’t head over heels about me and I left right away. Husband material really depends on the woman… for me, that’s my first choice man hence why my partner takes it as a compliment.
It’s literally not a red flag. Maybe she just doesn’t like hookups. I moved at an even slower pace in my relationship, but thankfully my partner isn’t a brain rotted freak.
I don’t think the gym is that bad of a place to approach. You have a common interest (working out) so you can easily start a conversation by asking what workouts she’s doing today. If the vibes are good, then you can ask for her number. Approaching is a numbers game so you can expect rejection most of the time but you never know when you actually meet a woman who’s receptive to the approach and wants to go out with you.
I don’t get why anyone would marry their 2nd choice. Marriage is the biggest life commitment you make so you better be picking that one special person.
Tbh all the makeup wearing men I’ve seen on tik tok are actually gay. I don’t think straight men wear makeup and it likely won’t be mainstream anytime soon.
Just don’t date women who experience instant attraction if this is a concern 🤔 there are women who are asexual or demisexual or other parts of the asexuality spectrum who won’t be instantly attracted to a man
I think women aren’t a monolith and experience desire in different ways. Some women can feel desire right away and do one night stands. Other women take longer to develop attraction for a man and require emotional connection first. So I agree with what you’re saying, one woman may not be attracted to you but another one won’t be. “Just be Chad” is way too simplified. Men who think being Chad is the only solution are generalizing how women experience attraction.
If a woman gets the ick from something like that then she definitely didn’t like you much. Women don’t get turned off when a man they like is yearning for them.
Nah bc there’s ugly men who want casual sex too. My friends had men below their league asking them for Netflix and chill. OLD is a mess. People are better off meeting someone organically.
But it’s genuinely difficult to find a good man on OLD. A lot of them are looking for casual relationships/hookups according to my friends’ experiences. It would take most women over two months to meet a proper guy on there.
I’d rather be there for him from the start and watch him grow with my love and support. I don’t have anything to offer to a man who’s already established.
