No, it's used when any man refuses to agree to an actual relationship.

sorry, try again. This isn't gender specific. You chose a targeted article from a males website. The data is skewed because the subject is male focused. https://www.cnn.com/2023/10/24/health/lonely-adults-gallup-poll-wellness/index.html This is about the general population and shows 1 in 4 of all adults are suffering. This is across 142 countries and finds 27% of adults between 19 and 29 are lonely and that number drops with age. A particular paragraph notes: "While there was little or no diffe…

Hmm no. Go talk to all the men who meet those criteria and get completely ignored. Your data actually proves the opposite. Women control access to sex. They aren't choosing the majority of available men. Second. The cross section of study participants is exceeding low. Edit It isn't a large enough sample size to get a true determination either way. The numbers are heavily skewed .

You were born late, the guys who did that got bombarded by the message " we don't need men. Stop approaching us, that is misogynistic " And we listened. Enjoy your independence and freedom.

I am not going to argue that. I have gotten attacjer by two girlfriends. I didn't deserve. First I caught her dealing drugs with her brother out of my house and told them to leave. She picked up a knife and lost her mind. I got 28 stitches from that incident and 12 hour surgery to repair my intestines. The second one got pissed because I didn't want a marriage and shot me 3 times with a .38. I am the wrong damn person to bring this shit to. I don't blame the entirety of woman on those lunatics. …

What men want is a peaceful household that is his oasis from the world. A masculine guy will be happy to provide IF he sees value in the relationship. He isn't going to give 2 shits for your " life force" or any such nonsense. He wants someone non combative, loving and appreciative of what he does for you. This social media propaganda of " of just a woman" will see you out of a relationship quickly if you are not able to meet his expectations. Just as your liable to leave if he doesn't meet your…

In my opinion too much emphasis is placed in this feminine vs masculine crap on social media. Mate, just live your life and let the chips fall. Decide on a career or trade path. Get established and you will find the other puzzle pieces will fall into place.
/r/PurplePillDebate22/12/23 08:18 PM

OK let's cover all facts then. How about Lorena Bobbitt that cut off her husband's junk for unsubstantiated assault? Or the mothers in the news killing their own children? Or that influencer who killed her bf crying assault when the video got released of her attacking him? If your going to tell the full story then tell both sides.

Here is the real truth. And to be fair, I post from a man's perspective. However. In my experience, you have the women's side of any argument and the men's counter argument. The truth almost always resides in the middle. Each recites their stories or experiences heavily skewed toward their beliefs.

What most don't know, I have had the same ideals since high school in the 80's way before all this social media buzzword shit or pill talk. Nope. A realist.
/r/PurplePillDebate19/12/23 06:55 PM

So your saying you two never evaluated each other to be a spouse,? So you met and went straight to a justice of the peace? Somehow I doubt that. Be realistic. No matter how you describe it. Marriage didn't happen until you both were "ready" and if either of you saw behaviors or unsavory habits, the marriage wouldn't have happened. No different than if one of you failed a job interview, you would have failed the relationship interview.

This isn't directed at any pill or men. Women just as often feel entitled to making men fulfill their needs while ignoring their spouses. Contrary to popular belief this isn't gender specific issues. I want no control over my partner, she has a choice. We either meet each others expectations of a relationship or we choose to end it. I will never tell her how to act, what to wear or who to be friends with. However if I do not agree with those decisions we will have 1 conversation and if we can't …

Yes, my expectations, my life, my decision and under my control. I have no one to answer to but myself. Giving up that control to someone else is asinine. Why should anyone be expected to start or stay involved in a relationship just because it's best for the partner? If we don't have the same life goals or share a common belief system then the relationship is unsustainable. How does staying make any sense? Women. Hands down are master manipulators bar none. I can't speak for others. But I am very up front at the beginning of a relationship about my expectations and what I will or will not compromise on. I am willing to discuss any subject, but if it hits on a subject where we can't see a valid compromise, I'll just wish them the best, hooe they find someone they need and move on.

This is wrong on many levels " woman's autonomy as it intimidates the man" this doesn't intimidate anyone. Her having autonomy, is just her being an adult, it is nothing to brag about. Your misinterpreted our level of indifference as intimidation but the reality is, we just don't care. It is very simple. /r/PurplePillDebate19/12/23 07:11 AM

No issue, it is just the reality of it. She cheats, husband divorces, most likely will remarry someone younger and more attractive within a year or two while she gets used over and over spending years praying for another relationship.
/r/PurplePillDebate19/12/23 06:47 AM
4

And the husband would eventually divorce her and move on. Mate these things very rarely stay hidden.
/r/PurplePillDebate19/12/23 06:39 AM
3

Except cheating would be impossible because given your parameters, no-one would enter into a relationship with her. She would just be single and hooking up. I myself prefer to date closer to my age range, 56, so I might still want to date her, but if she is a serial cheater, then she is instantly disqualified. The math for your parameters doesn’t work.
/r/PurplePillDebate19/12/23 06:31 AM
4

She can cheat all she wants. As long as she realizes that will instantly end or label her as undesirable in a relationship which is what most really want. As an example, if I start to date someone, and it is discovered she ever cheated in a relationship or was a willing partner to someone else's affair, then I am done. Immediately block and ghost because I will no longer see her as a dating, relationship or even a hookup option. I could never trust her.

And get screamed at for approaching women? No. Women wanted equality you got it. Time to step up into the male role. We get so many mixed messages so instead of dealing with all the drama we have just walked away. Once we decide we want to approach and find a marriage partner we will just look internationally for traditional women. The results are so much better.
/r/PurplePillDebate18/12/23 09:42 PM

But men aren't chasing careers in sufficient numbers. College entries for males is lower and dropping and ATM women are receiving degrees at a 2 to 1 level.
/r/PurplePillDebate18/12/23 10:20 AM

That's great but unrealistic. Those treatments are expensive even if you make over 6 figures and carry no guarantee. Before covid my 30 year old niece and her husband spent over 300k in one year on ivf and she never became pregnant. She is now 35 and is now looking at adoption. At your friend ls age, she will automatically be listed as high risk and there is a good chance she may not be able to carry to full term. Yes its possible but that doesn't make it probable to any high degree.
/r/PurplePillDebate18/12/23 07:27 AM

Look, no offense to your friend, but the last study released showed that by 2030, 48 to 50% of all dating age women 20 to age 50. All women in western society mind you. Will be single, childless and have very limited dating options because of the growing education and wage differences. She is competing against all those women now and is literally looking for a 1% unicorn. The number of people in general in Michigan making 6 figures I think is less that 2% or less. I am not going to get into a theological discussion. That always ends very badly for anyone involved. Women can have all the purpose they want, and if they wanted to follow that belief they would take their traditional roles willingly and be cooperative with men. They do not and have not for decades. Women only adapt so far as to expect all benefits but not willing to compromise for anyone or anything. They are the ones constantly complaining of "settling" for average guys who aren't x tall or h…

I'll take that a step further. We have spiritually, emotionally and physically disconnected from women, especially westernized women and are walking away from that societal norm. why? Because we had to adapt. As it is men are leaving the dating market, you can find articles where match maker services are having events but while having dozens of women showing up, no men attend. the article was meant to show that submission in the realm of marriage doesn’t match the dictionary definition. I suggested OP research the subject to see if it cleared up the reasoning why people refer to it in relation to a married couple.

Because submission means much more than that. Suggest you research submission in a traditional marriage. That definition is a bit misleading. This article for instance while scripture based can give you some interesting thoughts on it. https://www.focusonthefamily.com/family-qa/submission-of-wives-to-husbands/ The modern western feminist movement have painted it completely wrong and turned into a way to describe modern slavery.

All those resources came at the cost of men, their rights and financial support. Buy I guess that doesn't matter and reciprocation as always by women shouldn't be considered. Why is the fight for equality always seen as a one way single highway? The fight is always about equality as long as it only effects men negatively and doesn't touch anything women feel they are entitled to. Funny how that works.

No, men do not. What they will do is choose someone that shows interest in them and not question the motives of the relationship. This is why men react so negatively when this subject comes up. No one wants to be the safe second best option. If a guy goes after the trophy girl and fails, he will find someone who showers him with attention. And he will love her unconditionally. Every one has their own reasons and there are news reports that give varied reasons. But basically they just aren't. If you believe the data women are earning degrees at a 2 a ratio of 1 vs men and that trend doesn't look like it will change anytime soon. Men are opting for '"regular jobs" that have a national medium income of 35k to maybe 45k at the top end. This " mildly successful men" it depends on what you see as mildly successful. This can be argued from any perspective but working in nursing for 30 years I cannot even relate the amount of times a coworker said something similar while standing next to the "nice guy she wished everyone was like" but wouldn't date him because he was bald, or an inch too short, or had a lazy eye. The truth is this will get much worse. Look at college admission rates. Men are actively avoiding college educations. They just do not see it as required to be happy. According to the Washington post. Studies are showing with current trends women are at earning degrees at a 2 to 1 ratio in relation to men. It stresses it is a multifaceted issue but it does seem to support men are just not pursuing advanced degrees that furthers the earning gap.

It is more than that. Studies and dating data show a portion of men are deciding not to pursue any type of committed relationship, combine that with men who seek international marriages and the fact that for the first time in history, women are fast approaching outnumbering men. Then combine that with men who prefer men sex coupling and the percentage of dating options reduces quite significantly.

It isn't easy, to add part of the issue are men in general aren't seeking relationships anymore. I am one of those men. I just see no benefit it. I lost my wife in 2002 and chose to never remarry or seek a ltr or commitment. This is fast becoming a more acceptable option for men. They only seek companionship on line and only rely on those hookups for certain physical needs. The hookup culture has all but replaced the dating culture and men adapted faster than expected to it. To clarify, if they felt the need to get a passport, fly overseas to date and find a partner, they have already decided to bypass any women from their own country regardless of looks. They have literally given up on finding a match at home. S@x tourism isn't necessarily in the same categories as the passport guys. Fuckboys will still pay for dates for the opportunity for sex. In fact they will pay more often to have a higher percentage of sex being offered. All that does is create a transactional situation similar to prostitution or escort except instead of exchanging money for the services being offered, it is dinner and drinks etc. There is still a monetary cost and an exchange, the difference is to the fuckboy, it is no different than paying for a pack of gum, using it up and moving to a different gum.

All the friendzone means is she doesn't see him as a relationship or sexual partner. In these cases I suggest the men wish them the best and block and ghost instead if wasting time, energy and resources on someone who will never return the same effort.

Which is why men should walk away from relationships in the west and just go find traditional wives and girlfriends. Problem solved. Western women no longer need to do any chores and traditional men can have their traditional cake, eat their fill while their traditional partner bake them another one.

Let's say she has 5 steaks. All 5 tastes the same. But they all have whether it is the cut, seasoning, size or difference in how it was prepared. But suddenly, she just knows there is a 6th steak somewhere that has all the things she wants from the others but has that little something more. So she keeps searching instead of being happy with one of those choices. It is a never ending cycle

Yes and no. Your obviously looking for specific traits they don't have for a relationship. The question becomes will anyone be able to meet those traits. No offense but women in general tend to build of this image of their expected partner. They will literally build him by comparing him to others they have dated and or movie and fantasy descriptions of the " perfect" husband. The issue is they also refuse to compromise. For example, has everything but is 5'6 not 6'5 not an option. Has everything…

No why? Because everyone has their own preferences and you can't MAKE them change their preferences just because you do not agree with them. Lets have a little clarity. It isn't men pushing the plastic surgery market. Most do not even agree with half the procedures being done. I myself am completely turned off by someone who has had multiple procedures. From my understanding the idea comes from Tennesse house bill 2698 as reported by fox news in 2022 i think? shrug, google it. Florida just made it into law with a few changes. Permanent alimony there is done, it no longer exists. They now have 3 different types of alimonies to cover various scenarios. I haven't read the law because I didn't know it went through until I looked this afternoon so I will have to go look at details at some point. I do know other states are looking at Florida as a template to change their laws. Not that hard to find the information.

This is fast approaching change. I just posted on another post. Legislation has been recommended at the state level and looking to be pushed to national level that changes this dynamic. First of all child support will only be applied if, it can be proven the parents were in a committed relationship either by marriage or holding themselves out In public as a couple for I think of a period of a year + I believe. I do which I fully support these changes. It goes even further in that part of the legislation gets rid of permanent alimony. Alimony will be based on a market static calculation and not on his income. It will only be applied to half the of the marriage. So for example, married a year, get six months of support at market value. Marry an NBA player, awesome! But no more million dollar divorces. I hope all these changes are implemented and taken nationally. It seriously levels the field and makes …

Well good news. Legislation on the state level which could go national is not only looking at mandatory paternity testing at birth but adding legislation that unless the child is a product of a actual committed relationship that I think is over a year+ in length and can be proven via witnesses etc they were a couple. Unless a marriage is in place. This also has legislation to control alimony. Permanent alimony will no longer exist. It will be based off the relationship. Married a year? She only …

Actually, a few states in the US have recently suggested laws to address this. What they are suggesting is there has to be an existing relationship in place or the father can legally opt out of child support. If the child is a product of a one night stand or FWB situation, she will not be able to get child support. This further will be based on actual child need and not his income so the amount will be capped so no matter how much the father makes, she will only get enough for basic needs. This …

You can find studies that support each argument. The basic truth is because of the current social climate, women are actively seeking real relationships while men have just adapted to the hookup culture and just seek out online gaming friends or "the guys" to satisfy their social needs and just looking for hookups for physical needs. Given the current dynamic, this puts women in the "losing" side of the market. Men just adapted and changed to suit the market but that in turns leaves many women s…

The assumption maybe a committed relationship but the reality that over 30%+ fathers find out after years of bonding the child was never theirs. I had a friend years ago leave a note that simply said "I wasn't daddy" and put a bullet in his head when a required testing for his daughter with leukemia revealed they were never related. If the percentages of false paternity weren't as high, then it could be argued but given the social climate, those tests should be mandatory at birth.

Paternity tests should be mandatory. Period. It takes all the guess work and legal issues and squashes it at birth. No more false paternity claims, no more false marriages based off those claims and any child support can be assessed right after the test if the parents aren't in a committed relationship and have no interest in being a couple. Pretty self explanatory. The majority of women are still looking for traditional provider husbands but yet those husbands aren't getting traditional wives. Absolutely it they are trying to live a lifestyle obviously above their means of support. Absolutely. As an example, if I were dating someone and found out they knowingly was involved in an affair with a married person, that's an immediate deal breaker for the relationship. Your basing the decision on a strictly visual preference. This isn't always the case. Younger women tend to carry less emotional baggage in regards to failed relationships. Wanting interaction, attention, sex and or families is a far cry from feeling entitled to it. There are plenty of women that still want those traditional relationships just as some men do. There are also plenty of men who aren't really that interested in seeking such interactions. It's just not a dynamic they want to entertain. Personally, I am not interested in any relationship past a casual dating relationship. I have zero interest in marriage or being committed. I see no benefit in it. As wit…

I don't think it should be resolved. Men are finally realizing that against the message we are constantly met with, we do not need a relationship, family or even a marriage to be happy and fulfilled.

The cause? Look at society as a whole and the message being driven into the young men. They are mentally and emotionally pounded on with the message "men aren't shit". If you look even 20 years ago the message was " be a nice guy, put women on a pedestal, work hard and be a success" but in reality the reverse is true. Nice guys are ridiculed, men are bashed and often portrayed as bumbling buffoons and idiots in entertainment venues or as only being valuable if they are hyper masculine and succes…

This is so wrong on so many levels. Father's teach their sons to respect women, be the shining knight, put women on a pedestal, be the nice guy and you will profit. In reality the reverse is true. Men get shit on by society. We are portrayed in movies as incompetent bumbling idiots. All they tried to do is supply a good life to a family and ask for their respect. That is no longer the case. Men have just adapted to the changing environment, they just haven't adapted the way it was expected. Men …

Nope, she drops to a 3. Why? In most cases those women exhibit all the characteristics of people that are argumentative, combative, hyper masculine and or controlling. Those behaviors and mannerisms aren't conductive to a long term relationship. Quite frankly, I would consider us incompatible as a dating couple, wish her the best and just move on. I disagree. You are more likely to find a compatible match for a long term relationship by sharing interests in such hobbies. The majority ofen just looking to get laid aren't going to be interested in investing alot of time, energy or monies into those hobbies unless sex is guaranteed.

From older couples. Yes. But not from the following generations. The number is skewed. Also look at the declining marriage number. It further skews the results. We have dropped from a stat of 8 per 1000 getting married to 6 and below. Less people are seeking marriages. Again, the majority of these longer marriages belong to a different generation that approached relationships differently than the younger generations. Check the statistics. The average relationship now only lasts about 2 years to 3 years. That's the average from couples at 20 years +. Most couples in their 30's are lasting between 2 to 6 years on average. The longest relationships belong to couples above 40 to 60 that still show 5 to 10 year relationships. This trend isn't going to get better. In fact most studies show it going the other way. A sizable majority of singles are just opting for casual sexual relationships and not committed relati…

Here's your issue. Your example, your parents. They came from a different era in dating and relationships. Each supports the other. As it states " for better or worse, for sickness and in health" It's a completely different mindset now. Today's dating norm no longer holds that to be true overall. It's not about the couple any longer but of the individual. We have developed a truly disposable society and sadly that includes relationships. Those statistics are only based on a small sample size. They aren't necessarily accurate if your looking at the bigger picture of the social norms. The average study uses less than 1000 people then extrapolates the data. This can easily skew the results. Part of the issue is the "grading" system being used as a measure. The average guy you described has always been average. But yet they still had opportunities to date and have relationships. Often than not, that isn't the case any longer. Dating…

Here's the crux. Most if not all women want someone who fulfills those financial needs. The real question is what do the men get in return? This is a much more complicated question to answer and by the responses you will find people on each side of the extreme. Basically, it's specific to the guy and what they are seeking in a partner. The usual arguments, while cliche, actually apply. First, women in their 30's have a much higher chance of having multiple traumas from bad choices in relationships. That usually means the new bf has to deal with the results for problems they didn't cause. Especially if she didn't get the therapy she …

My perspective. I've tried to be that replacement dad. It doesn't work. To be that role model you need to have some control over the child and yes that could include possible discipline. Hers the issue, women in general want a partner on their same level regarding finances. Someone who is successful, will not want to marry someone who isn't close to them in earnings. Men however, will date someone on a much lower scale of income if there is a great connection. If the man refuses condoms, the woman should refuse sex? Easy fix isn't it. Prime example of how women do not take responsibility for their actions and decisions. This is in no way a valid option. Why? Their body, their choice. There is one sure fire way to fix it. Don't have sex with every random person you come across.
