It really is dumb to require separation. Idk if I can afford a loan. I’m looking at $600 tops left over for groceries and other needs each month if I find rent on the cheaper end of things.

I have no idea. She can be very bitter, but I believe she would rather make it easier to not take resources and money away from the children. Also, NC requires 1 year separation to get a divorce so I have to move out.

I am in a similar situation with how my wife treats me. She isn’t diagnosed with anything, but the way your wife treats you sounds very much like what I deal with. I talked to an attorney back in September and then spoke with my wife about how I felt. She apologized and promised to change. 5 months later I realize she can’t change.
