I'm also studying EE! And same age too... Save money, lay low (in terms of public appearance) and make connections with actual engineers. The more people you know in the industry, the more you'll hear about job vacancies and other interesting news. I recommend following electronics related podcasts (amp hour, embedded fm and etc.). Also, if you're not doing this already, work on projects in your spare time. Talking about my own work and bringing actual hardware always interests people and leaves…
