Yeah I was thinking a more helpful catchphrase would be, "Be cool. Don't be weird". It's certainly a lot better than the really annoying and trollzy catchphrase that gets my blood boiling that I don't even want to see myself write.

Y'all can put on the sarcasm face on and make fun of him, but this is how Elliot Rodgers are born. I thought I was bad, this guy needs a real mentor, fast.

Can you specify further what it means to have your shit together? Seems like very easy requirements to meet unless having your shit together has more requirements than what you wrote.

Well if that was the argument, you might as well pay an escort. The military guy had a plan to get an Ivy League degree and thought that was a pathway to the penthouse and such. Sure it can be done if you start your own business and strike it rich but if you have gone the typical route, that's not the typical level of consumption you can reach. Upper middle class lifestyle is not conspicuous at all. This is just seen as a boring, stable kinda thing, not a high status, sexy kinda thing. This arti…

Yeah the funny thing is that this generally isn't achievable with your typical Ivy League -> finance/consulting/whatever prestigious upper middle class job path. Sure you might make $500k a year by the time you're 35 or so but that isn't enough to achieve the Dan Bilzerian lifestyle. You'd have to essentially risk your entire life as an entrepreneur to even have a small chance at achieving this level of wealth.

Ha, what kind of lifestyle are you talking about? What would you spend your money on? Having lots of money does not seem to work for me.

Yes, if every male does it, theoretically everything you do would be devalued and you would need other means of differentiating yourself. With that said, there will never be an 'every male would do it' scenario because there's always going to be differentiators that are difficult to attain and thus weeding out a good amount of the population.

I would not recommend online dating for anyone who's not in the upper echelons of physical attractiveness, which OP is not part of as he said he needs to improve his looks in the gym. Nooooooooooooooooooo. Don't make the same mistake I made in college by reading advice catered towards mid-20s guys living in a big city instead of college students. Making friends is your first priority when heading to college. Try to get into a cool fraternity and expand your social circle that way. College doesn't protect your anonymity so this is social circle game-land. With that said, I did recover socially after being the awkward PUA stereotype in the first half of my freshman year but it …

I've wondered about this too as an Asian male, what would be the more efficient route. I think it really depends on where your skills lie and unfortunately your skin color and the stereotypes that surround it. From what I've seen and experienced, some people are really good at socializing with women there and there, face to face yet when it comes down to texting they have no non-verbals to back what they write on text thus frequently coming off the wrong way. Other people are masterful at creati…

And this is why I succeeded in life (well except girls) even with a negative attitude and consequently low expectations. I work hard at my job and go out of my way to get along with everyone so I don't have to be the one laid off as a software engineer when the highly cyclical tech industry enters a recession. I also stay committed to working hard in the gym and eating a lot so I don't stay a skinny single man forever. There's all this talk about staying positive but it doesn't work for people l…

I'd say this video is a classic shit test. What the media thinks guys learning pickup are vs. actual guys learning pickup are very different. 'Beta' Adam in this context is actually the seasoned alpha taking frame successfully via framing the entire video as an intellectual thing and 'Alpha' Adam is the insecure tough-wannabe stereotype that the media thinks guys learning pickup are. So it's essentially a shit test. If you agree head on with what Adam says, then you're not acknowledging that soc…

I think there's more significance in that one line than what you think. This one line is the difference between wasting months after months of your time in the friend zone while both achieving nothing and gaining no skills for yourself and using the time to improve yourself as a man to make yourself more desirable to women and being on the path to achieving great success with women. That one road forks into two paths leading to very different directions.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
