There’s a lot of good advice in this thread, but I would reiterate to you don’t take it personally, because it’s partly our nature. Women make up a majority of secretaries, nurses, teachers, etc. because traditionally they are the “gentler sex” (physically at least). Our brains perceive women by default as less of a threat, and associated with motherly traits and so we are more likely to trust them and be open to them. (Also why guys fall for “pillow talk”). This is also true about age as well, …

Yup and I didn’t realize this until I started working out but working out is great for your mental health and feeling masculine mentally as well. Heck I’d go to the gym, just to get in a more masculine mindset even if you don’t get sIcK gAinZ brUh

Sounds like the problem is that you don’t want it enough because you have too much in the way mentally. Maybe it’s your ex maybe it’s something else, but I’d say this is an inner game problem not an outer game one. I’m sure others will feel differently

Well said listen to this guy. I would add that it’s very likely that if you’re being disingenuous (fake) to accomplish some goal or get some person you may realize it’s not what you really wanted at all. It’s what this fake character that you created wants but you may end up feeling repulsed in the end if you succeed.

“Give an honest opinion” “Don’t be negative” Soooo…give an honest opinion as long as it’s a positive one?

This, maybe not symptom wise, but you could argue it’s tougher than drug addiction because it takes so much less effort to get a hit, in fact society (and those in charge) WANT you to use. Combine that with the fact that it plays on urges that all of us are born with and will never go away (I don’t think many people are born addicted to meth) makes it a deadly combo.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
