An attractive woman can frontload effort and then put her feet up and still be taken care of by an average dude who’ll be afraid to lose her. Average women know they need to put in consistent effort to maintain relationships with average dudes as equals. If they’re not getting “princess treatment” anyway then they might as well gun for top dudes for the social status.

It should have stayed the norm but when we went from "seeing" multiple people at the same time to "sleeping" with multiple or one after another, we let things get out of hand.

Woman A is a nogo for the moving for work thing. Woman B would be perfect with at least shoulder length hair.

Late stage feminism without paid egg donors and artificial wombs leads to population collapse. There is no putting things back in Pandora's box with respect to women's rights and the dating app hell scape, we just have to push forward with more technology. Or we go Handmaid's Tale.

Every time someone chooses one person over another to have kids with, they are an agent for natural selection ("eugenics"). It's more immoral if there is a centralised authority making the decisions like what you described (we just not let anyone with genetic markers...). But if society has been restructured to a point where an unattractive male can no longer compensate with his utility/resources then the selection pressure on male appearance will reach similar levels to the selection pressures …

Yes if you're too ugly to be picked whether male, female or helicopter, you go back to where you came from without plaguing the world with more remixes of you that is how evolution works.

The reason why many more women are attractive to men than the other way around is that unattractive women were just ruthlessly selected out of the gene pool, men saw 0 value in them. Especially in times when war and conflicts were common, there were usually more women than men. To a point where female hormones do a really good job now of increasing neoteny, promoting facial symmetry and stuff like soft skin and high cheekbones. They became the peacock gender for humans. Yes we have more female a…

Has he ever talked about FOMO? Is marriage in the cards? Try not to end up as the starter girlfriend. Just because he's nearly a decade older does not mean he will be above that, your youth might even alleviate his guilt of wasting your time.

It’s a global market now, women in his country are being flown out by Dubai millionaires or enjoying flings in Italy/Jamaica so the market is harsher than his father’s time.

Has to be proportional and the proportion is dictated by women. There was a study: https://home.uchicago.edu/~hortacsu/onlinedating.pdf . A 6 foot man earning 62k is as desirable as a 5’6” man earning 237k. Short western men should seriously just consider Asia where their exoticism and relative better height doesn’t require a ludicrous income to make up for it.

Hmm it’s very slightly less shallow because the stuff he claims to care about can be at least be tweaked even as an adult with lifestyle changes or makeup.

That's a good point. There are social elements to this. But also read about biological factors oxytocin and vassopressin + dopamine: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eyq2Wo4eUDg . Start from 5:45.

Marriages and LTRs lead to a more stable society, casual sex leads to our current clown world. One should be more demonised than the other.

Tbh I think it is also because pregnancy takes such a toll on women that they'd rather not have more than 1 or 2 if they can avoid it. If women could have better pregnancies, painless births and smooth recoveries, it would help.

It might become a way influence who creates children if the government is only willing to pay attractive or well educated couples to become parents.

Some women desperately need children but can't find a man (fitting their standards) who will commit. Telling them that it is irresponsible to have children anyway violates their right to bodily autonomy. /s

??? When times were hostile to women, most women would have wanted to drop out but only the rich could because of unfair social structures that kept women dependent on men for basic survival. Now when times are hostile to men, they can drop out more than women did because there are no social structures keeping men dependent on woman for basic survival.
/r/PurplePillDebate22/03/24 07:17 PM

Only rich women could drop out successfully without resorting to nunnery because marriage was the main survival tool for women. Men of all economic classes can drop out of marriage and family, they just need enough income for 1.
/r/PurplePillDebate22/03/24 07:07 PM

Rich women dropped out all the time and lived as spinsters or had boston marriages despite overwhelming pressure to be "normal". The ones who couldn't live off family wealth either became nuns or married to live. Those who married often couldn't opt of kids due to of lack of birth control or the right to consent.

The kind of women that fall for criminals are not the kind that any normal man would benefit from being with. Just consider them in the same category as all the obese, disfigured and geriatric women that are considered equally unviable.

Nothing is unclear, many basic human traits are traditionally gendered even if many people in modern times don’t intuitively think of them that way (like his_purple_majesty).

If basic things like confidence and leadership is gendered then kindness should be as well
/r/PurplePillDebate20/03/24 02:37 AM

More controversial because we coddle women too much but it shouldn't be
/r/PurplePillDebate19/03/24 08:09 AM

The cheating list can be dangerous if it is just based on accusation even with "strong evidence" since we're in a world with AI generated pictures and videos now. But I wouldn't mind if the criteria is adultery proven in court as grounds for divorce or something.

Attractive emotionally available men are immediately locked down and taken out of the market and they allow themselves to be taken out, otherwise they're labelled emotionally unavailable/toxic/commitment-phobic lol. They are not passed around from woman to woman when they get tired of him. The main things that matter to women are looks and status and from men that pass that bar, emotionally stable ones create relationships that last so they're not seen much in the dating landscape. Men who don't…

You should do a study to find the split, as a dude I've been on both sides but from the whining on social media it seems it's women wanting the relationship more. Or maybe men are just less likely to feel bad about it because they still got sex. Situationships seem to be the female version of the friend zone tbh, the fuckzone.

Sorry most of them are going to lie about the reason. In 99% cases it is because you are not the hottest he thinks he can get. Things like "maternal behaviour", etc is bullshit.

I agree that a 1 is super happy with a 4 but a male 1 is competing with male 2s and male 3s. Even if the female 4 only dates below her looks (hah), the male 1 faces enormous competition unless he is rich enough to compensate. It might as well be a lottery to find the outlier 4s that will give that male 1 a shot because she is the dream girl of other males 1s too.

It's the same fallacy as women trying to win the Chad lottery, not enough outlier women to go around.

Dude how does this matter from the perspective of someone living as a woman who wants to take precautions while dating? It's like saying don't worry about being mugged in shady places in New York because there are more muggings in Detroit. How does that stat matter to someone trying to live in NYC?

It's not gender specific. It's always better for the more honourable person in the relationship to be loved more. They can love, stay loyal and put in effort out of their sense of duty and commitment. Even when their feelings wane, they can reflect and recognise that it can be temporary. They will work on bringing the spark back. The distribution by gender on honourable/dutiful people is up for debate and hard to determine. Women are statistically more conscientious but they also initiate breaku…

Take a look at the r/Arrangedmarriage subreddit. It's mostly Indians but the process has gone to shit just like every other form of marriage-forming.

Nice, seems like you were playing the role of the selector and rejected an objectively attractive woman for very superficial reasons. Are you either a top tier man or a stupid average one.

I think they mean men have crushes on celebrity women because they look good but don’t really admire them as people or care about their achievements. Yeah it’s unfortunate.

Its the apex fallacy applied to women, only top 20% will get away with this, the rest will be badgered for sex on the first date or she’s not “worth it”

So you get back at manipulative women by manipulating random innocent women? A dark triad woman is not going to fall for stupid tricks like what OP did so most of the victims will be naive ones. Would a woman be justified in treating you like shit because a random man in her past was a dick to her?

Yeah I wouldn't commit to a woman who doesn't elevate my status by being better looking than me. If all my options were old, ugly or single mothers, I'd just stick to porn and video games... which is what a lot of men do anyway instead of settling. This comment should be required reading for everyone in this sub but most of these idiots wouldn't even get it. The vitriol against female hypergamy is voluntarily blind when men have (and should) be practicing it themselves.
/r/PurplePillDebate02/12/23 10:32 PM
1

Yes female sexuality is rooted in feeling desired. Men who were in the same or slightly below league made up for not being a hypergamous prize by showing high attraction and investment in the woman. But now even that effect is stunted by quite a bit through (porn dulling male attraction to women and low investment per woman in order to make the dating process sustainable), making higher SMV males more appealing as they inspire raw attraction.

Matches for women don’t matter because men admit to auto swiping on everything then choosing among those who accept back. See if any matches reach out in a way that shows basic respect and not just for sex since men also admit that they’d have sex with women who they would never be seen with in public.

Fucked up devil’s advocate: Men also have a dual mating strategy, they fuck anything they’re attracted to that is available but only commit to women who fit certain standards so they get / retain social status. The wife can doubt whether he is actually interested in her or just committed to her to create children that he’s actually attracted to.
