Well said. I'll rebut with "most" men who have enough brain to think for themselves realize the truth in what you are saying, but may not verbalize it. I'd say AWALT, but I also married a gal who isn't "like that". Quality is rare, but it does exist. Could she prove me wrong? Absolutely, but so far her behavior has been NAWALT, and my "Spidey Senses" are pretty good. Been 10 years and I haven't caught her yet.

I made it through and still had a life. This was 5 years ago. Just don't stress to much and ALWAYS pay attention in class, then you can do much less reading later.

I got a lot of issues with the way my mom and dad behaved when I was younger, too. (Drugs, cheating, etc). However, they got me to 18 and from then on its me, but you only get one set of parents, and they will love you unconditionally when nobody else will. Just accept their faults and love them for their positives as long as they aren't dragging you down too. If they are, just set boundaries.

Don't confront your mom. You aren't going to change her. She isn't going to apologize. Just keep her as a resource and as your mother (you only get one of those). Just reflect and learn from what happend and use it as motivation to better yourself and be the best father you can when the time comes.

As a vet, I have to question this guy. All the SF types I've known wouldn't lose their cool this bad over that guy's comment. I'm wondering if you aren't a keyboard warrior. If you really are SF, regain your composure, and regain your self-respect by deleting the garbage above. If you are what you say you are, its far beneath you.
