You're under no obligation to believe me. I got a lot of "why are you dating him?!" from friends and family. Love, that's why. Edit: Second longest relationship was with a skinny nerdy girl with cystic acne. Got the same "wtf?!" reaction from others for that one too. shrug

Well, then, I'm no good as a woman. Or more specifically, no good as your woman. The man who saw new colors with me thought I was pretty damn great.

Sure, there are a lot of things that are fine for other people but not for me.

It's a turn-off for me. I never claimed to be normal, in fact I'm probably the aberration. I don't see you as a deviant, just clearly not a good partner for me.

I honestly don't care what kind of flag it is, it's just a fact about me. I'm not fat or Mormon, I just only have sex with people who I love.

That's incredibly petty. A simple explanation will help the next guy because she'll think twice before doing the behavior again. She won't implicitly know why he did that, she might just assume he branch swung to someone thinner. Doing what you say feeds her "all men are jerks" narrative. A firm explanation before breaking up is the mature adult thing to do.

I'm 26 and my N is 3. 15 is definitely high.

It's really simple for me. My ideal partner is someone who I'm emotionally connected to and drawn towards. Someone who I can tell anything to without fear of judgment, and who will be equally open and vulnerable with me. I want to know his or her life as if I'd watched the whole thing as a movie. Someone I feel a sense of oneness with when we kiss. Someone who will face the challenges of life with me as a team, and support me when I fail. I bring that same companionship, support, openness, and e…

But I'm not a "good little girl". Sex isn't something that someone else does -to- me, or something I do -for- them. Sex is something that someone I love and I experience together. Sex, to me, is two people so enraptured with each other that they transcend reality. It's a nearly religious experience. That's why something like chafing or pain or dirty talk (of the degrading variety, not the "I love how X feels" variety) takes me out of the moment. It's why I can't tolerate positions that aren't fa…

35 minutes? By 5 (of actual penetration, not including foreplay), I'm already chafing and hinting "I'd LOVE to see you cum, can you cum for me?". If he doesn't get it, a few minutes later I'll pull him out and switch to a HJ or a BJ to finish him because it's just not fun anymore. Also, the rest of the post was pretty ridiculous too. A guy staying silent? I'll be asking "Is this working? What would feel better?" At worst, I'll stop doing what I'm doing because no feedback implies to me that it i…

True, but if it's about not being able to get men as good as her previous partners, having no previous partners would eliminate that; it has to be more nuanced than that.

So a 35-year-old virgin doesn't hit the wall?

It’s not even natural for a woman to want a career. We’re just not providers. This attitude is what makes it really hard for me to participate in this sub, although I used to read it avidly and was referred here yesterday because of my post in /r/relationships. I like my job. I like making money and knowing that I'm self-sufficient and can be with a man because I want him and love him instead of because I need his financial support. I like the feeling of being able to provide, in this case for m…

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
