Women do want equal representation. That includes the protagonist roles too. Thats my opinion as a woman. Some of my favorite female characters are protagonists. They dont always have to have depth or leads either..given a group of background characters, Id like to see women in the mix too.

Great points. One issue is that men dont come forward with some if these issues due to shame or standards. We should also be advocating for men in those points you mentioned. Not feminism, per say, but people. Just because feminism is about womens rights doesnt mean that it isnt for equality.
