this isn't a female-specific thing? it's interesting how you only seem to notice when women do this, because men definitely do it too

If you are going into a marriage thinking there is a 50% chance that YOUR marriage will fail, then you should not get married. There ARE things you can do to significantly lower your chance of divorce. Divorce isn't something that "just happens" in the vast majority of situations. It's usually the result of long-term untreated issues that metastasize. If you are very conscientious, you confront your own issues head-on, and put in work to maintain a healthy relationship from the beginning (and yo…

People also don't have control over whether they have a dick or not, but that's an extremely socially acceptable preference to have.

Lol no it's not.

Well the apps need to attract women to them, considering women are far outnumbered by men on the apps. Men are unhappy and more inclined to pay for the apps because there aren't enough women to go around for all men on the apps. That and the fact that women are definitely more selective than men are on the apps.

Lol not sure where you're getting this idea that women caring about height is a new concept. It's not at all. That would be like saying only recently have men started to care about women's waist-to-hip ratio.

Well, that's a loss that you take sometimes with online dating. I went on dates with MANY guys who were shorter than they claimed. It happens.
/r/PurplePillDebate08/11/23 07:18 PM

Exactly! There are already way more men on dating apps than women. So all the red pill angry men who don't think there are any high-quality women out there would be ill-advised to make the dating app landscape even less enjoyable for women. Even though we all know we are judged on our looks constantly, it doesn't mean we want to slap a label on our profile proclaiming things about our bodies. You can take a look for yourself and make a decision on if you like it.

You can usually tell a general range of height from perspective and from body proportions. But if you're a taller woman like me, who wanted to date someone taller than her, it can be tough to tell the difference between 5'8" and 5'11" for example.
/r/PurplePillDebate08/11/23 07:13 PM

Absolutely. As a 5'8" woman, if a man ever said he was 5'8" or 5'9" I automatically assumed that meant he was shorter than me. Because they almost always were.

lol "subjected to filtering chubbies." sounds tough to be you!

I think it would be unwise from a marketing perspective for them to add that option. Also, consider: you can tell someone's body type instantly from looking at their pictures. You cannot always tell someone's height, sometimes you have no clue from looking at photos. If you don't like fat chicks, you just swipe left on them. But if you don't like short dudes, it's hard to know whether someone is short unless they give their height.

I agree largely, only disagreeing about Jordan Peterson. His daughter is still her own person, and she is very intelligent and capable of making her own life decisions independent from the instruction of her father. JP is also not openly religious, and in fact has called himself agnostic in the past.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
