I wrote this because I came to a realization that I'm so attractive and high value that girls are insecure around me, and I need to give them more comfort but I'm really bad at that because my parents weren't good with that. most people here are the opposite

I think you lack nuance... Yes ultimately, sanctification is from the Holy Spirit. However, God uses people for his glory. The husband is to lead his wife to sanctification and help facilitate that.

Yes, Eph 5 does not directly mention sanctification. You must extrapolate that all the roles of Jesus in relation to the Church, viz, love, comfort, discipline is for the sanctification of the church; to prepare the Church toward heaven.

This post was more of a journal/notes/reflection as the name mentions. In my mind, everything is already presupposing Christian values, ethics and goals which I failed to mention. I ought to add a disclaimer next time.

Part of Eph 5 is that Jesus sanctifies the Church. Likewise, the husband is to sanctify the wife. Even DeepStrength thinks this. https://deepstrength.wordpress.com/2022/12/17/husbands-are-to-improve-the-moral-agency-of-their-wives-through-sanctification/

I am aware I can either destroy her or sanctify her into a greater woman and I desire to do the latter.

"I'll let her mature into that" I ought to emphasize the latter part of what you said. Good point.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
