Netflix ratings reflects their best guess as to how much you might like a show or movie. All you did was let them know that you aren't interested in Amy Schumer and content that may be related to her, which I guess is something.

He was being sarcastic, hence the upvotes. Also, look at his history.

Yes. I don't see what that has to do with r/legaladvice being a trash-tier sub, though.

Don't go to r/legaladvice. If you have a question, seek out a reputable attorney licensed to practice in your jurisdiction instead of listening to random people on the internet. I created r/ActualLegalAdvice as a practical alternative to r/legaladvice.

The differencr between vaccinations and circumcision is while both alter the body the vaccination doesnt alter the body in such a way that it can interfere with future functions. Not that circumcision does, but a tattoo doesn't interfere with any future functions either. Ive never heard of someone saying that because they had a vaccination it kept them from enjoying sex or anything like that. I've yet to see a body of evidence which says circumcision affects anything positively or negatively in …

Still a lot better than the most cited pro-circ study "proving" the STD-reducing effects of circumcision. It was conducted in Africa. Circumcised patients had several weeks of forced abstinence, went to a hospital regularly and received sex ed courses there while the uncircumsized group had none of these things. First, Africa is massive. Studies took place in Kenya, Uganda, and South Africa. The first two are neighbors, but by no means are they even remotely the same. They have different culture…

Literally everything that poster said was false. The nerve ending hypothesis? The loss of sensitivity? The psychological impact? Over 100 deaths? It was all made up. The nerve ending hypothesis was created out of thin air. Circumcision has no effect on sensitivity, sensation, or function. Babies can't remember being circumcised and anesthesia is used more than 50% of the time by medical professionals. (If the pain of circumcision has psychological effects on a newborn, then surely the pain of pa…

Circumcision reduces sensitivity This is my favorite thing that always happens in these debates. People will routinely cite this 'study', but I can't imagine they've actually read it. Take a look at the methods section. All of the participants were self-selected and merely took an online survey. The 'researchers' may as well have used upvotes and downvotes to determine sensitivity. and kills roughly 100 newborn boys every year in the US. This comes from known anti-circumcision activist Dan Bolli…

Its a violation of bodily autonomy plain and simple. This, of course, is the argument which says it is unethical to alter another person's body without consent - except where consent is not possible and when it is medically necessary. A newborn who needs heart surgery wouldn't have his bodily autonomy violated since such a procedure would quite likely be necessary. Circumcision, however, is quite clearly not medically necessary in most cases. Unfortunately for the argument from bodily autonomy, …
