Hey dude, been there. Check out a site called meetup.com Join some groups relevant to your interest, then go out and meet up with them. You now have an excuse and a reason to go out, and if you don't hit it off with anyone within the group, you can always stem away from the group a bit and meet other girls in the bar (or wherever you may be) This has never not worked for me.

I just admitted that acne isn't attractive? But if a girl had bad acne I wouldn't think any less of her. As long as she is actively doing her best to control it and keeps good hygeine, who am I to judge? I'm significantly more hairy than the average male.
