11	1 in 6 Hiring Managers Have Been Told to Stop Hiring White Men I think this is very industry specific. I work in a skilled trade, and only 3% of workers in my position are women. If anything, women are actively discriminated against by potential employers, passed over or let go quickly because of gender. White guys, myself included make up the lions share of workers.
