Not sure if that is the point of this post, I feel like OP is ranting about red-pillers demanding children and dismissing women’s health concerns. But I agree with that, and with you, that it should not be dismissed, especially by people who will never get to experience childbirth. I just wanted to add that I know part of the “secret recipe” which is sports basically. Another part can be healthy nutrition, and employing a doula (although male politicians like to cut their funding and don’t see t…

It is true that practically all women will experience some side effects and while most are reversible, some may be not. Part of the truth is that one can prepare oneself to some degree. Core strength can mitigate back pain and workout in general can help against excess weight gain (which can cause diabetes and lead to big babies).

He did not do the least, he still planned dates and such. He just did not lovebomb me or beg for attention - which I would not recommend to anybody, male or female

The ratio on these apps honestly sucks for everybody. As a woman at 23 (even if this is a very privileged position!), I honestly felt icky “picking men from a catalog” and I didn’t like how many just tried to please me. Some even begged for one more date, which I feel sorry for.. The first person who didn’t take me too seriously got my attention and I will hopefully never return to the apps again

I guess it comes down to what the goals and abilities of that man are. I am living in a team-like same age relationship currently preparing our wedding and there is no way to have a proper family house (not small starter) on one income. Only other way is very rich parents. Let me say that I don’t know how it would have been if things were different and one person could still afford a good lifestyle. But it’s just not realistic for us and I don’t think we are going to witness such a situation in …

Yes, perhaps. And they should probably watch out more carefully that they actually have enough things in common, if generational things (like childhood shows, music, games) are rather not going to be part of it. Additionally, another commenter raised a very good point that it might feel different for the man, if the woman has only been around after he already was successful. He would be less certain she actually likes him for himself as a person and not just his assets. Or, he simply would not t…

“If” is the magical word here. I don’t know anyone apart from that one person who wants/wanted kids before 30. Hence why there is no more actual need to date older men in the 20ies.

You might be right, but this is absolutely not what I observe in my circles. Nearly everyone has an age gap of < 3 years. What I personally see is that people are focusing more on relationship stability than on long-term goals such as having a family. And in general, only one of my (academic) friends had a kid under age 30. However, this is really just my personal experience and not a statistic. Perhaps you observe something else

It doesn’t, I was providing a source on how relationship contentment declines with higher age gaps, hence these relationships often do not last as long. (My second source was mainly to show that I’m not an expert, but just a person who likes to discuss and reads about these things mainly in magazines, which in turn cite research papers). Preference also does not mean these people necessarily wind up with each other. Further, I would be interested in the study you provided- how exactly did these …

In my opinion, 3 years is still a low age gap. It’s nearly an equal age for adults. From my knowledge the negative effects start after a 3 year age gap and especially after 6 years (see study that I cited)

It’s just a quick search, but let me give you an example: https://pmc.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/articles/PMC6785043/ but I will be fair and say that I mostly read about this in non-scientific magazines such as https://www.brides.com/the-best-age-difference-in-relationships-for-success-5105372

And yet, relationships usually last longer if the age gap is low, because both are in a similar phase in life.

Due to us both earning well we are planning to get a bigger house. It does not feel like a competition at all and I do not see any signs of my partner feeling emasculated. I don’t treat him as less and my money is certainly not only my money. I believe this is what it comes down to: the people decide if it’s going to be a partnership or a competition by their behaviour
/r/PurplePillDebate21/11/24 09:39 AM

Also, remember that aging applies to both of you. He is also aging and getting less attractive. That’s just life. All you can do is keep fit and eat healthy food. But we are all going to age, unfortunately.

In our days, divorce isn’t looked down upon as much as it used to be. I think that if he didn’t find you attractive, he would already have left. Also, keep in mind that in order to get and keep an erection men need some kind of attraction. Not even viagra can enforce what is not there. If he sleeps with you, then he does find you attractive. However, as a woman I can understand some of the despair that you feel. In order not to feel as helpless, you could try engaging in sports and self care.

How about this: aside sexual desirability there is something like relationship market value. While a man might prefer a sexy 19 year old to have a one night stand, men over 30 probably would not choose her for a relationship since she lacks experience in what is required to start a family - as she should, she is still a teenager. Wouldn’t you rather be the woman for a lifetime rather than the girl for one night? I am sure your husband knows what he sees in you, long term, and would never want to…

Yes, I can totally understand. I currently earn less than my boyfriend, since I am still in a PhD program. But after I graduate we will probably be equals. It helps me that I still get to pay for some things and that it’s only a temporary situation

I agree, if this goes both ways because someone has to take care of the child who is innocent in this. More rights for betrayed husbands, less rights for deadbeats. If testing is mandatory for child support, there needs to be an additional law forcing the actual father to take a test.

Put aside that this is definitely a trust issue in a milestone of a relationship when trust should be rock solid, it is also not necessary. Nature has indeed thought of this particular issue and most Babies very strongly resemble their father, even little girls. In most cases, the husband would immediately see his features in the child.

Due to their testosterone levels, women gain 3 times less muscle during training. In order to look really fit most have to work out every day, which is mostly not sustainable with a full time job.

I think red pillers may appear „bad“ in the beginning; because they are very independent and don’t spoil the women. It seems like a challenge to get such a guy to commit. But in reality, most are simply dicks who don’t keep up with what they demand. I think it’s best to date a guy who only agrees with parts of red pill but not the misogyny
/r/PurplePillDebate22/04/23 01:54 PM

I think that in the beginning they get the feeling of having persuaded the „bad guy“ to commit and then it backlashes when they realise how little they think of them

To be honest, it doesn’t. My mother is a widow and even after 20 years have passed, she would still say dad was her first choice. While she does love my stepdad it will always be settling in a way. She wouldn’t have dated him if her first husband hadn’t died

What about the time a woman gets 35+? It’s the time when birth control becomes increasingly dangerous due to thrombosis risk. At the same time, it becomes more and more probable to have children with disabilities. My partner and I for once agreed to switch if a male contraceptive becomes available. Only because I can take the pill safely now, at 26, does not mean it’s safe forever

Therefore, my experience is that most men marry or date within their social and economic circle. It may not be what they say or admit to but it’s their actions

Well, that’s if he earns an extreme lot of money. The average or well-earning man may not have enough savings. But even in an optimistic scenario where he does: They would be spending their savings for retirement. Again a very risky position.
/r/PurplePillDebate26/02/23 12:04 PM
2

Even with enough value it’s insanely risky. Imagine he works two jobs to provide for her and 2 kids. Suddenly, he gets ill and loses the jobs. She has not worked for 10 years and can only do minimal wage Simple jobs. Where would that leave the family?
/r/PurplePillDebate26/02/23 11:43 AM

Let us say, not the average woman but the intelligent woman. Kids are expensive, it’s borderline insane to consider them without having stable finances. And even if people are fine with renting, let us not forget that millennials and younger generations need to save money for retirement. Where I live, even if I had a generous well-earning husband earning double the median income, he could not save enough for both of us if I didn’t work.
/r/PurplePillDebate26/02/23 12:04 AM

Some men do, and rightfully so if you ask me. It’s the only way to have a secure retirement and a bit of luxury in your life (such as travelling or going out). Not even speaking of real estate

Do you mean, providing financially and being in charge in general? Cause most women do that too. In circles with higher education even very substantially. I know that none of your arguments would be ok with my partner. Slipping once, hormones, because otherwise I fulfill my duties, no emotions involved… he wouldn’t be able to trust me any longer.
/r/PurplePillDebate09/02/23 08:24 PM

It’s your safest take. It would not limit you to doing it just once, you would not have to be „forgiven“ because in that case, you did nothing wrong. Otherwise, even if you had a woman forgiving of occasional infidelity you would still have to deal with bad conscience and not knowing where her limits are.
/r/PurplePillDebate09/02/23 07:07 AM

Well, why not agree with your gf on poly then? There are some women who would go for it
/r/PurplePillDebate09/02/23 06:56 AM

It may involve no emotion. But oftentimes it eventually does. This is why some men leave their wives for younger women
/r/PurplePillDebate09/02/23 06:54 AM

Ok, even once in two years. No one would excuse the woman, no matter how few times she does it. But why should we excuse the men? The more often he does it, the more likely it is he will bring home STDs and/or another baby. And we would even be expected to help him take care, because the child is innocent
/r/PurplePillDebate09/02/23 06:50 AM

Women have hormones too but to a lesser extent. Would you excuse it then if your wife „slipped“, let’s say, once a year? It’s not much. Well; your kids might be not yours. But that’s just hormones, eh?

I totally agree. I know a few. Yet, back then I still listened to him. Back in my mind I probably thought, if even men say so, it might be true.

It’s not even only the women thinking so. When I was 23 and tried online dating, the maximal age I looked at was 32. A male friend of mine told me to be careful and pick guys closer to my age because there must be sth wrong if a man older than 30 still uses these apps. So I picked a guy who was 25 back then.

Thanks to inflation, rising taxes and the need to save for the own retirement it’s just too risky. My parents foresaw this and told me from the very childhood to be self-sufficient. A few years ago I discovered red pill and felt like maybe I have been wronged or mistrustful against men. However, recently I realised my parents have been right all along. It’s not wise to rely even on the most generous man anymore. He doesn’t even have to betray you, his money can simply get swift away by inflation…

Sure thing, but we are debating whether chores should be distributed according to one’s contribution to the finances. I am definitely on the „no“ side and I am against making a competition out of it
/r/PurplePillDebate02/11/22 07:17 AM
9

You know, I might actually outearn my boyfriend after I finish my studies. However, I am looking for a job with some percentage of remote work. If he has to work outside home all of the time, then I would still contribute more to the chores despite earning more money. I would feel very unfair otherwise
/r/PurplePillDebate01/11/22 02:24 PM

So, first of all it already depends on where you meet said man. Meeting someone through mutual friends or a hobby will always beat online dating. If it has to be online dating, choose a site where people look specifically for LTR. Be honest about what YOU want from the very beginning but don’t pressure him. And then simply pop the question

We actually did all of that on Valentine’s Day this year. We went to a local spa, got a massage, plenty of sauna programs, lots of food and some wine. And of course he got a BJ. This year, I gifted it to him and next year, he will probably be paying most of it since he now earns 2 times as much as I do. When we told others, we actually got a lot of laughter for celebrating a „commercial holiday“ but well, we had our fun.
/r/PurplePillDebate30/10/22 11:14 PM

Well, my mum remarried in her early 40ies after my dad died at just 36. Things like this also do happen. Next year, it‘ll be 20 years since she married for the second time and honestly, it would have been a waste if she never remarried.

This! Nobody wants an average woman either even though they claim to. Try to point out that the average western woman is actually overweight nowadays and they will try to find a way around that. Suddenly they meant an average woman of the subset of fit women which would make her definitely top third. And if she should also have a low body count, there we go: top 20%

While I don’t see a problem with being led, I have trouble with providing. After having seen a lot of red pill content, every present my bf gives me or whenever he would suggest to spend a bigger amount of money even just to repay me, feels off and very gold- diggerish to me. Every single time I try to think of what I bring to the table and what I did to deserve a gift and come up with…. Nothing. So I don‘t accept and repay him again. Well, I happen to be the woman so having 5+ kids would prevent me from working altogether. I could not compensate for that by moving to a cheaper area or abstaining from luxury anymore. Having less/no sex would leave me single at some point and basically add my boyfriend to this thread as another sexless man. That would likely result in even less/no babies or at least a very rocky relationship to raise those kids because of not much sex happening. College is in most cases necessary in Europe, mo…

I am not even going to disagree my way of thinking/living may not lead to the happiest outcome. But I don’t believe I have a choice anymore. Where I live, working age adults are hold accountable in just about any situation- I would have to pay for my parents‘ nursing home and my kids‘ college education both. In addition to that, all of the prognoses say that I need to save for my own retirement regardless; the government will not be able to help. If I were to look out for a man to support me thr…

That may be true for exceptionally beautiful women who may even find a man who is so rich they will never have to work. Us average Janes do build though- it’s our only way to get to a man who is tall/wealthy etc and even then most of us will have to work because one good income isn’t enough anymore to afford mortgage. Because why on earth would a tall and wealthy man get with a 4-6 unless she was there for him at his lowest point?
/r/PurplePillDebate21/08/22 07:00 AM

I meant it a bit differently. If said woman has a boyfriend but still uses her resources (say, everything other than sex) to support another dude. In my opinion, that would be emotional cheating and hella illoyal even without sex
/r/PurplePillDebate20/08/22 09:38 AM

So by this logic it would be ok for me as a woman to support other men financially/emotionally as long as I don’t sleep with them? Pretty sure many/most men would disagree
