What ?

Even if it's only the clitoris hood it's considered mulitation, medically that's comparable to the foreskin

Few women fighting is not even closely the same as millions being forced

I stand corrected about the Soviets. Nevertheless the Volkssturm only included males.
/r/LeftWingMaleAdvocates03/07/22 11:23 AM

Exactly the Soviets sent men to war without weapons and the Nazis 11 year olds, so the argument that women were considered to weak is ridiculous

Actually it was invented by men but I agree it's used by those women

So men are more likely to get longer prison sentences because they fail as oppressers, right ?

Does this mean men should be allowed to retire earlier ?

Why do we have to make this a competition who has it worse? I believe both genders suffers and those problems need to be solved..as easy as that. I do not believe men or women are truly oppressed. But that doesn't mean I can't advocate for social change.
/r/MensRights21/04/22 10:38 PM
3

I don't think looking at problem through the gender lens does mean I think I'm the oppressed one...sometimes it's just necessary. I also think oppressed is a pretty strong word and neither men and women are truly oppressed like for example black slaves were. I would agree with you that feminist think they are the opressssd ones, but I don't think mens/womens rights advocates think they are the oppressed ones, I personally think there are gendered issues that affect men and other gendered issues …
/r/MensRights21/04/22 10:08 PM

No, feminism says men are the privilgied class that is benefiting from oppressing women. So you're automatically invalidate mens rights movement by saying "why would you as the privileged gender ( keyword male privilege) need any help? " ask yourself which oppressed group will help it's oppressors ? You can see this with the Ukraine war, men are forced to stay in the warzone and the United Nations women said women are most affected because they have to flee or even get raped. Ofc these are valid…
/r/MensRights21/04/22 09:49 PM

I wouldn't say that necessarily, I believe I as a man can be best at talking about mens problems and women are best for talking about women's problems, so together with mens rights activism and women's rights activism we can reach true gender equality and fairness. I believe the ideas of feminism are standing in the way of that. Humanism on the other is also important but doesn't focus on gender issues and is more vaguely and talks about humans rights issues Nd not gender problems
/r/MensRights21/04/22 08:49 PM

Feminism is the believe that women are oppressed by a system that was created by men to profit men, that exploits women, the so called patriarchy. Men are the oppressors, women are the oppressed. So when feminists say they are for equality what they mean is uplifting women, the oppressed class to the level of men. Also taking power away from the so called oppressors. I personally think this is bs and you can be a women's right advocate while not being a feminist, something I would say about me. …
/r/MensRights21/04/22 08:02 PM

The difference between us MRAs and you as a feminist or masculinist is that we don't believe we are the only group that suffers from sexism. Feminist believe that women are th oppressed class and are oppressed by men,the opresssors. With that mindset your automatically invalidating mens issue, same vice versa

If tried to be opened minded about this sub tho I heard quite some negative things about it, so I read some for a while there. Yesterday they had the discussion about Ukrainian women being sexually exploited in Britain, fair point, important topic to talk about. A genius said this excatly the reason why men should be allowed to leave the country, to protect their wives from exploitation. O answered if that's his first reaction to men being forced to stay in a war torn country he should revaluate…

Interestingly how they have to end the article with a woman who feels shame... The last bit of the article is always what sticks with the reader...they somehow want to act like it's a problem that men and women face equally but it's clearly not ..no women gets shamed for leaving since it's the normal thing to do within their gender roles, women get praised for doing that what men are forced and expected to do.

First of all a traumatic experience, a part of your genital is cut often without anesthesia and done by non professionals, there's even a very conservative jewish tradition where an old man is sucking the PP of the child to stop the bleeding. You can imagine that this is sexual abuse. Furthermore the removal of the foreskin is always bad even when done correctly in a hospital, the foreskin serves an important purpose to keep the glans protected and moist, if the foreskin gets removed the glans w…

A lot of people ask me why I'm not a fan of feminism.... The chancellor of Germany, a feminist, said about this horrible event that "women, children and old people" were among the victims....

Oh ho ho, in feminist Finnland only men are forced to go to the military ho ho silly girl. That's because the idea that men are expandable pieces of meat which purpose is to protect more valuable women is not a patriachal idea hehe. Feminist and conservatives both don't care about men, juts look at UN who says women are the main victim of war.... No thanks I'm not going to join the feminist movement.
/r/MensRights26/03/22 01:38 PM

Difficult thing to do, I would say a person who believes that women are oppressed by systems created and uphold by men aka Patriarchy

Are you a feminist?

As the UN said "4 out of 10 child soldiers are girls" , I found more numbers, whereas boys are always the vast majority of child soldiers.

Society, made up of men and women.
/r/MensRights21/03/22 03:25 PM

At the end she all blames it on the almighty Patriarchy and toxic masculinity, and proudly says that white cis dudes also can experience problems in our system but they ofc stem from sexism against women, who are the primary victims...sorry but if this is how support from women looks like, I don't want it.

/r/MensRights11/03/22 04:22 PM

Male disposability -> Seeing men as less valuable human beings has nothing to do with patrichary, I agree that feminist are not the problem, well at least most of them
/r/MensRights01/03/22 07:55 PM

Probably Not that easy if you live near the Ukraine and the fear of Putin and getting drafted is much closer than for Americans
/r/MensRights01/03/22 04:26 PM
3

Yes but it's quite ironic when you bring it up when the problem is discussed when a different group of people face it much harder( black people, men), this is just tasteless...if you care about talk about it at different time
/r/MensRights25/02/22 12:42 AM
4

Hmm I don't really see that often, usually they say the evil patriarchy and toxic masculinity is suppressing men from crying, actually that's misogyny bla bla bla and it's ok to cry
/r/MensRights25/02/22 12:18 AM
6

No one here said that about women, we are talking about the empathy gap, that fact that men are literally not only forced to go the military but now also are forced to stay in a warzone while women are being evacuated... I will guarantee you that the western media, if a aggressive case happens will report something as followed "200 dead including 12 women and children" ..... Also overall I would say that you're ofc right but at the same time anyone who doesn't stop something wrong is indirectly …

"But but White people also can be victims of police brutality"
/r/MensRights25/02/22 12:11 AM

I definitely agree that are some feminist who are against it, but surely it's not their top priority... Feminist when they acre about men only talk about that men wearing dresses or crying should be normalised which is cool I guess but it's a lunch in the face for every man who will lose his life in the battle in which he was drafted without consenting

While this health crisis is of particular concern to men, it is also a concern for women regarding their fathers, husbands, sons, and brothers. ...reminds me of women are the main victims of war 😭

I never disrespectfully it, I said If you want to believe in it go ahead but laws and human rights will always stand over your PERSONAL religious beliefs. Also mine is not a belief it's an argument based on science

What about gay people beaten to death because someones religion says so? What about women not having rights because someones religion says so? Religion is a social construct that has no place in today's society...if you decide for you that you believe in some random 2000 years old book...ok, but that's not an excuse to break human rights, which body autonomy is...also those "medical facts" you're provided are biased and not medical consens in Europe... I've watched a German TV debate about this topic a while ago and they invited several guests, one was a feminist. She was against circumcision, first I was positively surprised. Then she stated her reasons: " the male genital get celebrated, Muslims even do something similar to a marriage, those reinforce patrichal structures and a dominant male sexuality" in my opinion that's pathetic, we talk about a baby getting circumcision without consent and that's what you think about....

To a certain extent I can see why people think it's empowerment.. women don't need to share the money they earn and nobody forces them to do stuff they don't want (expect themselves) but at the same time it's important to remember that it's porn and I think that's never empowering
