Do think there's value in intervening early in childhood like you suggested. Personality's probably more plastic then (not a crazy amount from baseline though). I just think for adults, finding someone with a similar personality type as you is more helpful advice than improving your personality to attract more women or whatever. For some demographics that are overrepresented in one gender (eg: autistic men), dating becomes exponentially harder. But I think all other solutions don't really work r…

I think your overall point is true in theory but entirely impractical in practice. Personality is largely stable after adulthood and is highly resistant to change. Dedicated interventions and therapy fail pretty much all the time to impart long term personality changes. Knowing what to do and actually doing it are two separate puzzles. For example, everyone knows the secret of weight loss - eat fewer calories than you burn. But still, 90% of diets fail. Of the people who do lose the weight, 90% …

I don't think they would prefer women they're sleeping with currently to sleep with other men at the same time. Never really argued against that. I just think that very few of these men will reject women because of past sexual history and body count, no matter how much they claim it matters. And they would gladly accept her having low standards as long as she was exclusive to him during whatever relationship they have. You seem to think these men consider women having high standards a necessity,…

From the outside the goal of red pill men always seemed to be to have as much as sexual and romantic success with women as possible. From my perspective these men view hypergamy as a trait present in all women that they must overcome to achieve their goals. I think ideally they'd wish women weren't hypergamous so they could achieve their desires more easily. But they view hypergamy as something inherent and impossible to change in women, so they mostly accept high standards as a given which they…
/r/PurplePillDebate06/03/24 01:09 PM

Look at what they do, not what they say. Men who sleep with lots of women end up with "slutty" women. Promiscuous people pretty much always end up in long-term relationships with other promiscuous people in all the stats I've seen. And those men (who are high-value - slept with many women) don't seem to have problems being with promiscuous women at all. So I highly doubt most sluts would actually be rejected by red-pill men. Stats don't bear that out.
/r/PurplePillDebate06/03/24 11:37 AM

Your ideal is a woman who views you and treats you like you’re the scum she tolerates bitterly because she can’t get anyone she actually wants? Press x to doubt. Better than nothing I suppose. I'd like to have that choice at least. No, men in relationships want the women they actually date and marry to be highly selective; very few men want a woman who would fuck anyone who asks. But normal men in relationships laugh at the concept of hypergamy. Struggling, always-rejected men use hypergamy as c…

For women looking to date casually? Yes. Lmao really? You really think every single woman goes on 4 times as many dates as every single man? Pretty sure that among the people who date, men are more proactive in dating than women. Even with that considered, the ratio is closer to 1:1. The number of promiscuous men and women are roughly equal. You're delusional of you think this is true lol. 1/3 are in committed relationships. That means only 20% of single men need to be dating for it to be most m…

Would you want a woman who thought about you this way? Who knows she is desperate and so unappealing she can’t get anyone so she’s just settling for you, the only loser who would tolerate her? That sounds ideal. I would love that Men here go on and on about hypergamy in large because they want women to be very selective Are you serious? It's something that guys who are rejected say. Guys in relationships are almost opposed to the concept of hypergamy. If what you were saying is true, it would la…

Would you want a woman who got with you because she was desperate and lonely and would settle for anything? Yes, 100%.

women are attracted to losers and violent men *who are attractive. This is usually said in response to women claiming that a guy is single solely because he's misogynistic or whatever and women can sniff it out like a sixth sense and avoid such men at all costs. The standards for superficial traits are high. Standards for character are fairly nonexistent. There's no contradiction.

Even being extremely generous, your point was that 50-55% (it's definitely less than 60 all things considered) of men are dating, since most men don't have casual sex and the disparity in singleness means a significant number of men aren't getting any (unless your claim is that each single woman is going on 3-4 times more dates than the single man). How was your point relevant when 40+% men don't date at all? Seems like a pretty big number to me.
/r/PurplePillDebate06/03/24 05:35 AM
1

There's a large disparity of dating options that your refuse to acknowledge for some reason. Women date who they want. Men date who they can. Most young men aren't in relationships, as per your original claim. You were refering to women, not people in general.
/r/PurplePillDebate06/03/24 05:22 AM

56+25=81% of men open to a commited relationship. Compared to 88% of women. Not that dissimilar. Compare it to the number of single women and men, and you're still seeing close to a 3:1 disparity of single men to women. Which has been my point all along.
/r/PurplePillDebate06/03/24 05:16 AM
2

If you don't get even to that point, then it's pointless to think about. Women by defailt have the luxury of infinite options for dates so almost get to have the privilege of having tons of standards and still go on dates constantly. For many guys, even one first date is a luxury. When it's that hard to come by, your relationship standards reflexively go down as well. Who knows if you'll get another chance?
/r/PurplePillDebate06/03/24 05:10 AM

You're making up those numbers now. Pretty sure most studies find the number of promiscuous men and women are largely equal. And those looking for casual would be included in the other 50%. But in the relationship pool there's a clear gap as I showed. ~35% of men are looking for a relationship while only 8-9% of single women want to. Mostly because women who want relationships can pretty much enter into one instantly with almost any (average-ish) man they desire. It's a shame but there's probabl…
/r/PurplePillDebate06/03/24 05:06 AM

But the pool of women to date is less than 10% of the female population, who the 33% of men are competing for. More than 3 men for every woman in the dating pool in that age range. Easy to get jaded if you're not in the top 20% of single men then.
/r/PurplePillDebate06/03/24 04:53 AM

Most single men were single not by choice in the survey, while the opposite was true for women. Also who can these men date if their dating pool is just 34 % of the available woman population (of which most are single by choice)? You can't date younger than 18 and most older women (by 10+ years) won't give younger guys a chance. The solutions just pan down to: wait till you're older so you can date much younger women or some women are ready to settle for you for financial security.

/r/PurplePillDebate06/03/24 04:26 AM

Not young men. 63% of men aged 18-29 are single compared to 34% of women. In 2019, it was just 51% of men, we're already seeing a 12% rose rise in single men with the number of single women staying constant. It's getting worse and worse for men trying to date. Most will end up in relationships to be clear, but after like 30-35+, when women have to settle if the want to get into relationships and have kids. Till then, many guys will struggle a lot with dating as we're seeing now.

Watch their actions. Men swipe on 70-80% of profiles on average, even those looking for relationships and not hookups. And the only reason they don't swipe on close to a 100% is because the algorithm penalizes you for that. Men find women attractive by default unless she's really, really ugly. BBWs don't struggle getting dates, be real.
/r/PurplePillDebate06/03/24 03:50 AM

When I’ve seen way more good looking guys be sweet and fun and more nerdy types be absolute assholes. Your average well-liked frat bro is way more likely to commit sexual assault than the vast majority of nerds and have claimed more victims than all incel-related crimes combined. Yet incels and nerds seem more threatening to you? You must be extremely delusional or afraid of statistics.
/r/PurplePillDebate05/03/24 09:28 AM

Mostly no. Pretty sure I remember reasing that most autistic men never marry and more than half remain lifelong virgins (despite high sex drive). Most autistic women have a normal sex/relationship experience compared to other women (despite disproportionately higher rates of asexuality in autistic women). So logically most autistic guys never even get into a position where they can abuse women, since autistic women mostly date NT guys.

Agree with you there. Just don't think that the OP was necessarily refering to the okc study in his comment. Wasn't explicitly mentioned at least.

Plenty of other modern studies on OLD also indicate women find most men unattractive. And it also shows in the outcomes as 63% of men aged 18-29 are single compared to 34% of women the same age.
/r/PurplePillDebate05/02/24 10:01 PM

Why rely on a study over a decade old when we have more modern studies that are more applicable to the current state of dating and OLD? most dating apps today require you to match first before talking, and it's easily observable that men have far wider standards for attraction compared to women. Women tend to swipe right on mostly the same top 5-6% of the profiles they see. If women really had as wide preferences as you claim - they would swipe on higher % of people and most average men wouldn't…

Then shelter also isn't a "need" in many places. Many humans can easily keep their bodies alive without shelter and a place to live. Yet it's commonly classified as one. If the lack of relationships cause so much stress and depression that it leads to suicide, then I would classify it as a need for that individual (though to be clear, I don't think they're owed relationships or anything like that). I'm also pretty sure chronic loneliness has been linked to an earlier death, comparable to the eff…

Not really. Women swipe on <6% of profiles on OLD. men swipe on >60% on average. Most women aren't even giving unattractive men a chance to message them.

Openly misogynistic men also don't struggle with those traits though. That's the thing. The most evil men alive aren't alone. (Attractive) Men in prisons get tons of letters and romantic attention from women. Look at the chadfishing experiments and men with misogynistic, pedo and nazi bios still got tons of attention from women (if the guy was attractive). It's pretty obvious that openly misogynistic men don't struggle. Agree that misogyny itself is not making them attractive. But trying to be m…

I thought your claim is that the OP was sexually repulsive to women because of his misogyny. If the most misogynistic men have the most sexual partners, it clearly isn't a big issue in that respect. This is what you said: "Why the fuck would any woman ever want to sleep with you if you are declaring yourself as a person who hates women" Which is strange since those type of men are the ones who women are attracted to the most.
/r/PurplePillDebate22/12/23 01:26 AM

Correlation does not equal causation, genius. But you seemed to imply the misogyny is unattractive. Given that the most misogynistic men have the most success, that part seems abjectly false. All else being equal, being more misogynistic is probably a better idea than less if you want to attract women. Sucks but it is what it is.
/r/PurplePillDebate22/12/23 12:41 AM

So you HATE women, but they’re the ones who are at fault. You want to fuck them, but you also hate them. Are you seeing problem here? Why the fuck would any woman ever want to sleep with you if you are declaring yourself as a person who hates women. That’s misogyny, bro. https://osf.io/preprints/psyarxiv/wsvq8 The men having the most sex and relationships with women tend to hold far more misogynistic views than (involuntary) virgin men. Most incels are too shy to even talk to stranger women IRL, let alone do something as heinous as you're suggesting on a large scale. Their community does post a lot of misogynistic shit, but extremely few will ever act on it. Every study done on incels' personality traits show that they score extremely low on risk-taking and very high on anxiety. Women face far more physical risk from men with tons of sexual success compared to a shy, anxious incel who barely even leaves his room. Most of the vi…
/r/PurplePillDebate26/11/23 06:25 PM

How is that a contradiction? Many mass shooters being sexually frustrated doesn't mean that most virgins are mass shooters. Just like saying most criminals are men doesn't in the slightest imply most men are criminals. The study I linked showed a clear link that ON AVERAGE, more sexual success is correlated to more misogyny and the most successful people were far more misogynistic than incel men with no sexual experience. Why point to extreme outliers when we're discussing the common case?
/r/PurplePillDebate25/11/23 11:26 PM

https://osf.io/preprints/psyarxiv/wsvq8/ "Our study contains several surprising findings in light of the incel self-narrative of sexual frustration and extreme misogyny. Given that most dating apps are 80-90% men, that would mean that at least 40% of the men are looking for something serious. That's still 2-4x the amount of women over there. With that ratio and given how low a guy's standards are on there, there's truly zero excuse for being involuntarily single as a woman.

When I brought up my coworker, it was specifically to provide a counter example to somebody’s assertion that a change in styling is not enough to make a man capable of attracting a woman. You only need one counterexample to disprove such a statement, which was the entire purpose of bringing it up. The largest attractors in men that women are attracted to aren't affected by any styling or exercise - height, broad shoulders, jawline, race, lack of balding, etc. If there are men who meet the standa…

Lol that’s not even how survivorship bias works - firstly, survivorship bias would mean that I said all men are like this because all the men I have encountered are like this, which is not what I am saying. But you're going around this thread automatically blaming any guy complaining even though you've never seen them. Don't pretend like you're not doing this. Given that ~45% of high functioning adult autistic men remain virgins, despite high sex/relationship drive and more than two-thirds never get married, you're dealing with a rather exceptional case. Thinking that any autistic man can follow this and get results is foolish. You really need to understand what survivorship bias is.

Survivorship bias, like the user above said. These men stand out to you therefore you notice them a lot. The men who don't have these problems fade into the background and you just assume they don't have any problems attracting women. I don’t think genuinely violent guys get more women than any other type of guy. You would be wrong. Don't think I've ever used the word "chad" on my own. In my comment above, I was quoting from the paper, where the authors formally defined and used the words "chad" and "incel" as a narrative for their study in determining whether sexual success has any correlation with misogyny. Other than that, where have I used the word chad?

That was literally the conclusion of the study lol. I was being a bit crude, but the men who have the most sex tend to be far more misogynistic than incels on average. It's not even debatable. I've also gotten through to a few people. That's a good start. I think when it comes to such a toxic set of ideals. It's important to call out when it's clearly so far out from reality. I've been lurking for a while and you've pushed people further into the blackpill far more than you've helped from what I've seen.
