“Women are paid less” is one of their favorite arguments but if employers paid women less, only women would be employed. Society isn’t great for most men, only those select few who are in position of power.

Society tells you “mom knows best”. No she doesn’t. Not in every scenario. Not all women are naturally good parents but they are still praised for being moms. A father, meanwhile, is called a sperm donor in many cases.

It boils down to society not caring about men. Has nothing to do with Trump. Trump is just a symptom of where we’re at. Men have always existed to serve and elevate women. When women say that it’s always been a man’s world, no that’s a select few men who were in power. If no one but women were in power nothing would be better.

That’s why I keep coming back to this subreddit. As a man, a lot of time you feel alone. And I mean, completely alone. Society tells you it’s your fault, no matter what. You try to be a good man yet your girl cheats on you. Society tells her she’s empowered because of it. Who’s fucking her? Another man. As a man it’s hard to find someone to trust. Society doesn’t care about men and have thrown us to the wayside. Breakup? “What did he do?” Woman hits a man: no one cares. Man defends himself: ever…

You’re very right but they also like to pretend it’s only men at the top when you bring that point up. Like I tell them, if women ran the world, nothing would be better.

True but (to me) we’re talking about fathers here. As a father to a daughter, I recently heard about some dude coming at a father because he took his daughter to the women’s restroom. I will admit this is a weird ass post though.

That’s not locker room talk. Not at all. The truth is, no one cares about men. Neither side. And hell, a lot of the time we don’t even care about ourselves. I won’t be told to get checked for testosterone by some dude who was on Fox News.

Yes, absolutely. Men feel they have to “perform” for women, so they will put down their fellow man in the presence of a woman they’re interested in to try to make himself seem better in her eyes. “If there’s one thing I admire about females it’s how often they check in with their friends and stand up for other women” The first part is what any friend should do. The second part is very damaging. You should never stand up for anyone just because of their sex and I know from experience women didn’t…

Even women who aren’t single moms do this. They’re carrying baggage from something another man did but they take it out on you. They expect you to pay for something someone you’ve never met and never will did. I’ve heard that same line, too, “your fellow men”.

“The bar is literally on the ground for men’s behavior” That’s hilarious. Are you a standup comedian? Men are far more likely to be held accountable for their actions than women. Men are also far more likely to be murdered than women. The truth is, both sexes could stand to improve, despite your feminist “women are perfect creatures and men are horrible beasts” line of thinking.

The same reason they don’t speak up about women winning in family court. They never speak up when it’s a situation that benefits them. They only care about themselves and their fellow sex. If that’s not sexism, I don’t know what is.

I disagree. Plenty of men still have kids, whether they “have” a woman or not. The reason I put have in quotations is because you never really have a woman, it’s just your turn until she jumps on the next pony on the carousel. A man can be happy without a woman. In fact, I’d say they’re happier without the drama.
/r/MensRights12/12/23 11:41 AM

That’s actually a damn good question. For me, it’s looking at my daughter’s face, and seeing parts of my face in hers, and knowing I have to keep going for her. Your story reminds me of my brother (other than the trans sister). He’s in his twenties and still lives at home, and has never tried to do anything. I can tell he doesn’t believe in himself. I believe in him, though, and I believe in you. I would say to stop worrying about these things and do what makes you happy.
/r/MensRights12/12/23 10:20 AM

The fact that you have to ask this should tell every man reading this the state of how things are today. Hell yeah it’s OK to be sexually attracted to the female body. Don’t feel ashamed whatsoever.
/r/MensRights12/12/23 09:58 AM

Listen to me. Don’t worry about what society tells you you should be. Worry about what you want to be. And do it. It doesn’t matter if what you want to be is a doctor or a hermit who no longer gives a fuck. The only person who can judge you is yourself, you understand? Try to trust yourself, and only yourself when it comes to these things. No matter what you’re going through, I know you can overcome it.

As a father of a daughter, I have absolutely spoiled her at a young age. However, as she gets older, you should be teaching her valuable lessons, such as hard work, discipline, and not thinking she’s better than anyone. You should make her do chores for any allowance she receives and not hand her everything on a silver platter. These lessons apply whether the sex of your child is male or female.

Man, that’s rough. If your son has been with you for the majority of his life, that’s where he belongs. The fact that she’s making accusations towards you and trying to uproot his life from what he knows tells me she doesn’t really care about him. Hopefully everything works out.

Yes it is, but we can’t. Show emotion to women, we’re “weak”. Show our emotions to men, to at least some of them, we’re “weak” and they will laugh at you. The root of the problem is we as men have no one to turn to, and even if we do, we’re afraid to. Whereas women are free to talk about their feelings and no one bats an eye.

I remember one Mother’s Day years ago, when I still knew my mother. I was the only child who still talked to her because she had left all of us (me and my siblings). She was still praised by all around her, though, because she gave birth to us. Anyway, she was talking about something along the lines you’re saying now and I said something back, which she didn’t agree with. She jumped up with a coffee cup trying to hit me in the head with it. Usually many women want it both ways. They want to marry a rich dude and be taken care of and pampered, but simultaneously be empowered, independent women who “don’t need no man”. There’s an old saying: you can’t have your cake and eat it too.

Women for sure are like that. As men, though, we have to realize in what aspects we fail at and be better. This is one of those few aspects I feel we as men can be better. When a woman is raped, women gather around and support the victim. Men, also, gather around the female victim and say the male perpetrator is horrendous. When a young boy is raped, though, I’ve noticed many men think it’s a good thing it happened, “His hand must be hurting from all the high fives”, and it’s absolutely a proble…

It stems from a mixture of the fact that society has deemed us to only care about sex, and society not caring about our pain. Apparently while we’re being run over by a bus we’re also getting high fives. I hate to say it, but it seems only our fellow men make those types of comments. We gotta get our shit together.

Amazes me that false accusations aren’t punishable with a jail sentence. A woman can ruin a man’s life with lies - he loses his job, his friends, his money, and then she gets to walk away and live her life as if nothing ever happened.

One thing I’ve learned over the years is that not a lot of women, nor society as a whole, cares about your pain as a man. You could be going through the toughest time in your life and they just don’t give a fuck. There have been times that if I had a gun I wouldn’t be here right now. However, if I had been a woman in these situations, more people would have gathered around me to comfort me. The world only seems to care about the pain and suffering of women. So I guess the point I’m trying to mak…

Don’t be scared of raising a daughter. As a father of a daughter myself, I can tell you that as a man who believes in men’s rights, you’re in a very good position to teach your daughter principles, values, things that will help her once you release her into the wild as an adult. I’ve heard a lot about that book. I’m glad she finally understood, but I had no idea she took her own life until now, which I’m sad to hear because she went above and beyond to put herself in our shoes. I need to read that book now. Being a man is not easy.

You ever heard of “boiling frog syndrome”? There’s a lot of frogs who don’t know they’re being boiled to death. You can tell them until you’re blue in the face that they’re boiling to death but they won’t listen. I think that describes men’s lib.

There’s really nothing that can be done now. The only thing I can tell you is to keep your head up and try to move on, even though I know it can be difficult at times.

Saw this earlier today. Judge made the right call. A judge should look at both parties seriously when a child is involved, and not at what sex society says is better at raising kids.

I understand where you’re coming from. Unfortunately, I don’t have a lot of hope in people sympathizing with us. What they don’t understand, though, is that we’re not victimizing ourselves, but equipping ourselves with the knowledge of how things really are. Try not to worry about the opinion of those people, because they don’t matter. Also, don’t be sorry.

Even if you don’t have assets, there’s a price to be paid. For one, your heart will never feel the same again. There’s also kids, which the wife will take and turn against you. Shit man, it’s a sad state of affairs. It doesn’t matter if you’re a good man who loves his kids either. A woman will ask “where’s the good men at?”, and I only see “where’s the men I can take advantage of?”

It’s apparent she got with him for his money. She signed a prenup, but the prenup doesn’t always hold up. I was reading that he had a horrible divorce before her. She doesn’t care. I can’t help but laugh when people hate men for not getting married.

The ironic thing is that men now fear women. As a man, you used to think “what’s there to lose?”. Now you know what’s to lose. I think I’d have a better chance of survival if they put me in a cage with a tiger at the zoo.

Nonexistent barriers that women put up themselves in their own mind, as they have overtaken men in the US college-educated labor force. I have a feeling that even if all men were laying in a ditch, women like that would still consider themselves victims. One thing I’ve learned about feminism is that men are always assholes, and females are always victims, no matter what.
/r/MensRights23/06/23 12:35 AM

You’re probably right about brain washing. It’s a sad thing, indeed. One thing I’ve gathered about this thread is that gay men, too, are treated unfairly because of feminism. Gay men are used by these women as an accessory, like a shiny new pocket book to show off to her friends. My daughter’s mother sometimes says she wishes she had a “gay BFF”.
/r/MensRights17/06/23 01:27 AM

You’re absolutely right. Men are men, whether gay or straight. But because my friend was gay and reacted so drastically, perhaps gay men could have some perspective on the reason. There have been some great answers here.

Really? He was a friend of mine for two decades. Yes, he hated himself so much he wanted to chemically castrate himself at one time. If he wanted to be trans, that’s another thing entirely. Perhaps you should do better at not judging others. This has nothing to do with trans people.

This is the feedback I was looking for, so thank you. Whether you were very comfortable with women or not, it would be good information. You’re right. I had second thoughts about making this post as a man, because I knew there’d be other men that would say I’m gay, because I was distraught over losing a gay friend. It turns out that I was right in some respects. My friend was gay and it didn’t matter to me. He was a good man, but he got lost in the propaganda. All I can do is forget it and move on.

Thank you for your response. After a twenty year friendship, I’m just left confused that speaking about my own rights could cause him to block me and never talk to me again like it meant nothing. It’s mind boggling. As a straight man with a girlfriend and kids, I understand he and I have some differences, but I looked at him as a bro. He still is a bro to me. However, it’s been a few weeks since he blocked me and he hasn’t changed his mind. I guess you’re right that the programming is that stron…

A man will go to go to work for 8-12 hours a day. You come home and they want you to do half of their work as well. To do all their household work, they’d consider themselves “maids” or “slaves”, even though they’d do it if they lived alone. In the case that both of you work 8-12 hours a day, the household chores should be split 50/50, but even if that’s not the case, you will find yourself cleaning the house yourself after breaking your back at work, and cooking for yourself.

I used to think, when I was younger and naive, that love was the most important thing in a relationship. No, it’s respect. As a man, the most important thing is respect. Unfortunately, a lot of these women have no respect. Even after loving them and providing for them, there is no respect. They expect you to respect them no matter what, though.

I would get a paternity test before signing the birth certificate. Doesn’t surprise me. I’ve heard my daughter’s mother say all kinds of stuff. She’s told me she feels like slapping my daughter even during the times my daughter was just being a normal kid. I was at Walmart earlier today and saw those chocolate bars for the first time. It bothered me because there are boys out there who need encouragement too. Unfortunately, there is none. What a horrible time to be a little boy. When I was a little boy, all I cared about was hanging out and riding bikes with my friends. We didn’t care this much about the opposite sex. I’d argue that she’s a victim too. If her mother didn’t brainwash her, the media did.

Because it’s not about equality. It’s about equality in the ways they perceive they’re unequal, but keeping all the ways they know men are unequal. In the end, it’s about superiority, and they seem to be achieving it.

I was reading an article earlier about some statistics which were from 2001-2006. Abuse and neglect, mother only: 1,452,099 cases with child fatalities at 1,704. Abuse and neglect, fathers only: 661,129 cases with child fatalities at 859. The article went on to twist logic into a pretzel to come to the conclusion that fathers actually abuse and kill their children more (of course). In any case, as a father myself, it sickens me to my core.
/r/MensRights20/05/23 02:05 PM

I agree with you when it come to parental rights. A lot of men absolutely do love their children. A lot of us aren’t the uncaring assholes you think we are. Some are, yes, but that goes for some women too. It’s not “all mothers nurturing, all fathers uncaring” like is shoved down society’s throat.
/r/MensRights20/05/23 07:29 AM

As long as women don’t have to accept accountability, they will run amok and do whatever they please. Not only will feminists give them a pass, but there are men who will as well. One only has to look at the comment section of these types of articles.

Been through it myself, but after telling a couple people, I learned pretty quickly that it wouldn’t be in my best interest to pursue it. Society is programmed to always think men are the perpetrator. It’s a very tough hill to climb. Sorry you went through it, brother. Keep your head up.

One thing I’ve learned is that feminists (even male feminists) will argue about the “pay gap” until they’re blue in the face. The fact is, most women don’t want to work the same jobs as men. They also don’t work as many hours, even in the same job. And if they do, they make the same per hour. What they seem to want is to make as much as a male doctor while running a lemonade stand.

I feel you with this post. I was raped by my mother, and I’ve only told two people. Both of them blamed it on me and went on to warn others I was a rapist. They were people I had knew for years and I thought cared, but I guess misandry is stronger than those bonds.

A lot of feminists hate men. I can only imagine if a man said half the shit some of these feminists say, they’d be hunted down and strung by his nuts on live TV, while a group of crazy feminists applauded. Even some men would be in the audience clapping their hands. This is where we’re at unfortunately.
/r/MensRights25/04/23 07:35 AM
18

I’m sorry you’re going through that. It never matters what she did to you for months. It only matters what you did in that one moment. There seems to be no rights for men in this area. I’ve heard of cases where a man called the police after being abused only to be thrown in jail himself.
/r/MensRights20/04/23 08:16 AM
1

You’re probably right about the documentation. I, like many men, was completely unaware of this when we had a child with a woman we’re not married to. I haven’t documented anything, so if shit hits the fan it won’t end well for me (my own fault for not being aware). To answer your question, I still live with her and my daughter.
/r/MensRights18/04/23 10:12 PM
3

One thing I recently learned is that even though I’ve been there for my child, buying her everything, because her mother and I aren’t married the government can get child support from me from the day she was born, even if I was already there buying her everything. My daughter is 14 months old, so if it went south tomorrow and my daughter’s mother filed for child support, I’d be behind by 14 months automatically.
/r/MensRights18/04/23 07:29 AM
4

That’s why men shouldn’t get married. Unfortunately a lot of men are raised to think they have to bend over for women, so some of them, against their own judgement, do.
/r/MensRights18/04/23 07:23 AM

Comes on TV all the time. “Tell her you love her by buying her this expensive jewelry”. Hits a lot of people in the feels, even some men.
/r/MensRights18/04/23 07:18 AM
2

I’ve been in his position. It wasn’t nearly as bad, but she loved putting her hands on me. But if I had fought back, I would have went to jail. That’s why having a saying such as “never hit a woman” is so dangerous. In that saying, you only include one sex that you should never hit.
/r/MensRights16/04/23 11:21 AM

The problem is that even a woman who’s overweight can get boned by a guy who’s much higher than her in looks. As a result, her ego is sky high and she thinks she can pull a guy like that for a long term relationship.

Man, that’s tough. I’m not gonna be a huge help (never been married) but I do know the feeling of things coming to an end when kids are involved and it feels like your soul is being ripped apart. Try to hang in there, and don’t try to kill yourself because it would devastate your kids. Also, in the possibility that you survive the attempt (and if she does in fact leave), she could use that against you to paint you as mentally unstable.
/r/MensRights12/04/23 03:22 AM
2

Absolutely agree. Racism is stupid. The reason for my comment was that I’ve noticed a lot of feminists seem to single out white straight males in recent times. I guess we’re the devil, haha. At the end of the day, whether we’re white, black, brown, yellow, even if we have cultural differences, we’re all human. Keep your head up too man.

A life as a man gets very tiring, doesn’t it? Always trying to do “better”, but the goal post being constantly moved. Eventually, you realize that nothing you do as a man will ever be good enough.

Women want all the privileges without the consequences. This is why it’s so dangerous for men on the dating market. A woman, upon being pissed off in even the slightest way, can destroy your life.

I try to be a good dude. I haven’t ridden the bus in a long time, but if there was an elderly person who didn’t have a seat, male or female, I’d give it up. But chivalry? Chivalry is dead and women killed it.

It’s not just a war on masculinity, it’s a war on men period. And a war on boys so young they don’t even know what masculinity is. If singling out boys on the basis on their sex isn’t sexism, I don’t know what is. On the other hand, every dad I know who has a daughter tells her she’s strong and capable, and sex doesn’t even factor into the equation. Myself included.

Her argument makes sense. She wasn’t there when the sex was taking place. He kept hounding her for sex so she left her vagina at home while she went to spend his money.

I actually lean left but it’s shit like this that makes me consider myself an independent instead of a democrat. This reminds me of the time a feminist told me that there’s no way I, as a straight man, can raise my child. “Only women and gay men can raise children”, she said.

Because no one cares about male victims. I’m a victim myself. I kept it inside for a long time because I knew what people would say. Finally, I had enough of keeping it inside because the pain was too much. At that point, I told a family member what happened. You can guess the rest. That family member told everyone about it and told them I was the perpetrator. Fortunately, there was no pregnancy involved in that mess. I can’t even imagine.

Feminists love to argue about “toxic masculinity”, but the sad truth is they love when a man is overly masculine and acts tough all the time and has no emotions.

Oh it definitely is. But at this point I’m not surprised by anything they do. They always have to be the victim, even when they’re the perpetrator.

I agree with you. After recently hearing the term, I did some digging and came across a video featuring femcels. Turns out, every one of them had multiple offers from the opposite sex, but they felt they could do better.

Just recently heard the term “femcel” even though it’s apparently been around awhile.

The 78 years is well deserved. Unfortunately the courts see men as boogeymen, when they should look at it on a case-to-case basis. I love my daughter more than anything and I would never hurt her. Though, if I ended it with her mother, I’d probably never see her again, just because I’m not the right sex the court’s eyes.

Who kept the electricity on for her while she made that video? One has to wonder.

Stuff like this makes me absolutely sick to my stomach. That little boy (or even if it was a little girl) deserved to live a full life. She’s even smirking in her mugshot.

Kids need both their father and mother. They both play a special part. Unfortunately, there are women who think a father isn’t needed. I’ve lived it. Ultimately, it only hurts the father and the child.

That reminds me. There was a story a while back about a couple who gave each other a “celebrity pass”. A lot of couples do that, because 99.9% of the time it never happens. Well, after the guy agreed to her celebrity pass, she found where this guy was performing at in the near future and actually did it. After she cheated on him with that musician, she told him that he had given her a pass to do it.

True, but it will be every time. And society says it’s OK. I’ve been called an incel myself even though I have a girlfriend and a daughter. It’s a favorite among feminists, even if they know it’s not true. They want to cut you down as a man. Now, imagine if a man called a woman something. Everybody would jump up, including men who’ve been indoctrinated into their bullshit.

If the shoe was on the other foot and he got a lap dance from Rhianna, and she broke up with him because of it, the comments would have been totally different, wouldn’t they? “Girl, he did you dirty! You deserve better”

Yes, because women never do anything wrong, apparently? This is a very sexist statement. If a man said this about women, they’d want to hang him at dawn.

I have a girlfriend, but when you have a girlfriend or a wife, you welcome a lot of drama into your life. When you have a doll, you can get your rocks off without the inevitable drama that ensues afterwards. I can see the appeal.

What a tragedy. And it’s a tragedy whether the shooter is a man or woman. If feminists have nothing to say about this shooting, it proves to me that they care more about their ideology than they do the lives of children (or anyone for that matter).

Thank you for clearing that up for me. So basically they take a good thing (they live longer) and somehow turn it into a negative thing here.

I don’t know if matters more if you’re a white male or if you’re a straight male. In either case, you have a bright future ahead of you. Keep your head up and try to be happy. You matter in this world.

Today’s feminism isn’t about equality. It’s about superiority. The fact that they’re proud of women outnumbering men in university tells you it’s not about equality. Yet they’re still not happy.

It’s only “rape” if a man does it, didn’t you know? Though I don’t agree with either sex doing it. I think whether you’re male or female, you should receive the same sentence. Unfortunately, the world is sexist against men.

Congrats on having custody of your kids. I worry I won’t. When my girl was pregnant, she was already talking about not only taking her away from me but also not putting me on the birth certificate, and all that time I was supportive. So, if I wound up with primary custody I would be happy, even without child support. But to answer your question, if the roles were reversed, you’d probably be in jail.
