I had no job she had got me fired, no savings, no car. I had absolutely nothing when it started. I had no choice but to move in with family while I got new employment and saved. Rents are outrageous where I’m at as well. I had to be patient for months of apartment searching before finally finding one I could afford. After almost a year I’m finally in my own apartment. I’m still as broke as I can get for now. But the bills are paid and I work like crazy now. Not everyone has the means to get an a…

10 months in. I was exactly where you are now. It feels so overwhelming. Let the emotions out bro, if you feel like you’re breaking I hate to say it but let yourself break. You owe it to yourself to feel these emotions so you can heal. Everyone heals at their own pace, get into therapy if not already will definitely help.

Yeah I’ve been thinking about starting an exercise routine. Gotta just get off my butt and start.

I guess at the beginning it was easier cause I had goals to focus on. Like getting a 50/50 parenting plan, and getting my own apartment. But after I met those goals I’ve had a hard time finding anything to keep me focused like that anymore. Like I’m in limbo now. Guess without new goals I don’t currently see an obvious path forward

That’s rough. I lucked out in that after months of back and forth I got her to sit down and negotiate the finalized order so we could just get it finalized and move on

Over two months in we’re still battling in in court. It was really really hard at first especially emotionally I was a wreck. But as time goes by you can start seeing things for what they are. Still depressed but also happier at the same time. I have my freedom back and can be the person I am again instead of she wanted me to be. As time goes on the freedom feels better then the pain hurts if that makes sense.

She had started making a habit of calling the cops on me anytime we got into an argument even though I wasn’t behaving violently or in any manner that would warrant police intervention. One time she calls and she’s so mad that the cops basically tell her every other time she’s wasting their time, so she lies and says I raped her. 100% never happened, I get arrested and taken to jail that night, by the next morning I’m not being charged with rape as there is no evidence as I did not rape her. She…

Going through a divorce right now, my ex had a new boyfriend the day we decided to get divorced. We had t even filed anything yet, then she moved in with him the next week. Now she’s leaving with this dude she was most likely cheating on me with. It’s rough bro, it’s like everything you’ve been through together meant nothing. Sucks to find out something was clearly more important to you then it was to them

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
