Why not? I mean everyone is different. Maybe it’s because when you get older as a woman you prioritize resources but I prioritize looks and personality

Yeah it does. They’re either weirdos or entitled chads

That’s not funny. But yeah dudes with money are gross

Would rather have a manly man making 24k then a gross ass tech nerd who’s autistic and making 500k

This makes me sad. But I also think it goes both ways

I guess that makes sense. Sometimes things like the 80/20 thing make me sad. I want a husband:(

So it has nothing to do with money? Cause some of y’all act like we only care about that. I’d date a man who makes 30k and takes care of himself in the gym than someone with a 1 million net worth but maybe that’s just me

Then how come all of y’all keep saying we only want the top 10% of men? I could care less how much he makes if I’m attracted to him

I’m a woman with this kinda trauma (can never get dates or a relationship), and I 100% agree

It’s really frustrating because if some women sleep around, it ruins it for all of us. And it doesn’t help that feminism and mainstream culture encourages that:(

Also I completely understand. Sounds like it’s a systemic issue. Is there any action can I take today to help encourage my friends to fix their attitudes though? Also how do I not come across as a pick me? It just sucks because these people are ruining it for the women like myself that respect men and want relations with them

Is there hope? What can I actively do to change this

I think it’s fair to be able to sort through weight. Maybe it’s a hot take. I don’t want a man that’s 300 lbs

I’d rather date a blue collar man who’s masculine than a six or even seven figure software engineer who doesn’t talk or wanna go on adventures and that’s a hill I will die on. But yeah the whole I only want a provider thing is ridiculous. There’s plenty of good men.

Yeah have no clue why this subreddit was on my feed but I’m a woman and I find this really sad. Is there really no hope? I like men.

But it’s like I date below average men and all they do is complain cause they can’t get someone who isn’t overweight or has a mental illness. Like guess what? Beggars can’t be choosers

I’m not chasing after many people either. People show interest and then run away after I threaten to unalive myself usually

Who am I supposed to date then? Someone with Down syndrome?!

Not true. I typically date guys that make minimum wage or single dads. Also one I met at a rehab center. They still are like “you’re crazy” and leave😭
/r/PurplePillDebate12/05/25 02:34 AM

I’m 25F and fit. I’d say I’m a solid 6-7/10. Above average on paper. But I have bpd. Am I cooked in the dating scene? Why do men specifically love to pretend like no women want them but then exclude some of us for something we can’t help?

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
