Don’t quite follow this logic. If you stayed in the house your daughter would not be okay? She shouldn’t see her mum struggle but it’s ok to see her dad struggle? Calling police on him? You are being a husband to a woman who rejected you. Have some self respect and stand your ground.

Why would you leave the house and still pay for it? I mean, I was in a similar position - we bought a house (credit was mine), had a 4-year old daughter. Ex wife asked for a divorce, suggested 'nesting' (taking weekly turns in the house with the kid in the house all the time) to which I said 'no.' Obviously she had to go, which she did. Man, that's a dark spot. It was difficult for me, and my ex didn't cheat on me (that I know of). What worked for me was to get out to get people around. Even a crowded gym worked, although I didn't speak to anyone. If you can, spend time with friends. I would invite mine with kids over. Sometimes meet up when my kid was not with me, just to talk and spend time. Staying by myself was killing me - being alone with my thoughts, ruminating. Oh, and consider a therapist. But a good one. Find a hobby …

All the best! How did you meet the new girl? Also, a question - how are you paying child support having split custody 50-50? Mind-boggling. I have same situation, but not paying a dime, since half the time the kid is with me. Your ex wife might as well be paying you. BTW, my 4th year after divorce and getting out of an unfavourable relationship (almost a year-long), so back to square one.
