I (M)fear of this question from new women..I left mine..it was such a toxic bad relationship not worth my mental health nor my sons, my second divorce..

If your thinking this way then u have your answer..its not worth it to "stay for the kids" you need to be happy, divorce sucks but there is an end...sticking it out offers nothing else other then maybe one day she will change...they dont. I stuck it out for 3 years and then just had to do it...maybe she will change..I asked myself almost everyday for 2 years..and they dont.

Well...been married for 6 years, second wife, she never liked holidays events birthdays nothing like living in a zoo, no life, I started my divorce this week after a sentinel event at the house, got her removed from the house. Yes this year just solo as well but looking forward to the future. Lessons learned...just amazing. You will move on bro. I will.

Well it's been 7 years since then, remarried, finances are better off then before and I have my son, so maybe this is meant for someone who can't handle it. I did and blew through it. Thank you though.

Bullshit! It's how u make yourself now! I'm 45(M) and married and still get all the looks from the younger ones that want..u gotta take care of yourself and not let it go no matter if your happy with another. I'm case in point! I gained like 70lbs during the Covid lie thinking it was over, what a mistake, took me 2 years to get it back..u can do it!

Same here (44M), 2nd marriage(obviously didn't learn from the first time) and we have been in a downward spiral for over a year, my thing is the house, with the mortgage rates so crazy (current rate is below 3 on house) if I were too I can't afford a new mortgage and would be forced to live in an apartment or back to...the parents..FML

My quick intoxicated take is..you did what you wanted, you got somewhat what you deserved, now fuck it all and do everything you want. There's no going back.

Fuk that I left my wife because she was and is a bitch, I'm not gonna spend the rest of my life miserable...leave if your not happy, they do this shit to us! There's always a greener pasture no matter what the Matrix says..
