73% men in STEM field Who's stopping them from joining? These days being a female gives you advantage in getting into a better school and later into a better company after graduation. The absolute blood-boiling experience I've had to go through being a recent graduate seeing companies offering a regular graduate pathway for all candidates, and another pathway for female only (to "increase diversity") was very discouraging to say the least.
