Yes, it is not easy! You will get there, keep matching his energy and you will find out his true intentions. Either way, for now, you focus on setting up your rotation and levelling up!

Taking a break from dating because you cannot multidate right now is a great idea! Plenty of time to catch up later. I have taken several dating breaks and used that time to develop hobbies or spend time with family and friends, would not have missed it for the world!

Going for a well-planned hike can absolutely be a suitable, high-quality date! An FDS compliant date does not equal an expensive date. It simply means showing her you are serious about her, respectful of her time, mindful of her interests and displaying your ability to provide and care for a woman. You are right for saying that ignoring her request would be more of an issue in this scenario. A date where you could display all of the above would be you suggesting a well-thought-out route and with…

Ah, I see. You are looking for an answer as to whether or not this makes him LVM? Or the relationship 'doomed'? Seeing as how he has since stepped up, I absolutely do not think so! He is investing his money showing you he is serious now, despite the both of you making the 50/50 mistake at first. It also shows you he is able to change and adapt. If he was insisting on 50/50 now because that's how you guys started, it would be an issue. Still doesn't make him HV, keep vetting :-)

The main thing is to figure out what is acceptable to you and take it from there. However, do challenge yourself and be critical though! As far as I understand, you guys have not met up yet? Someone too keen at such an early stage could end up being a love-bomber. Not responding for a few hours or even a day would be acceptable to me personally as it hopefully indicates he lives a full life and is not waiting to dump all of his emotional needs onto me. The best tip I got on here is to match his …

"What would be the FDS thought process on this ? is it generally okay to split at first and then transition to him paying more? or would splitting at first set the tone of the relationship in a way that does not respect our time/effort as well as his investment in us? i am curious to know is all" The handbook is very clear on this for a reason. It is NOT ok for a woman to pay for dates. If a man asks you out, he pays. Always. Once in an LT relationship, you can contribute by maybe tipping, getti…

I appreciate you want a concrete answer but it really does not matter, because you should never wait on a man and continue about your day as per usual, filling up your rotation if you are dating, and spending time on your hobbies, friends, family, career, education etc. if not. There ARE valid reasons for someone who is interested in you to not ask you out straight away, which is why I am hesitant to put a concrete time on it. After all, they could be they busy working on themselves and not date…

This! Also, some though love cause you are worth it: Why do you also post all of your relationship questions in non-FDS related subs? Are you shopping advice and implementing the advice that is easiest? You really must take accountability and either follow FDS principles or not, in which case, these issues are your own fault.

It sounds as though you are very new to the dating game (no shame) and you are getting easily caught up in it all. I would casually multi-date in your area for a bit to gain that experience and feel more comfortable. Yes, it's a lot of work and can be draining, but you are doing it to learn & grow and avoid the scenario you are currently in in the future. Find yourself a bunch of good looking men that keep the conversation going, are respectful and put some form of effort into the dates. They re…

I'm sorry, but how is this even a question when you have read the handbook? Engaging teaches him that harassing you will lead to a response. The only way to protect yourself is to report for offline behaviour (do you sisters a solid), block & delete. Also, I am concerned that he was able to find you on Facebook so easily! I personally use a non-obvious variant of my name on OLD and do NOT disclose my actual name until I have first vetted them in person. Also beware the google reverse image searc…

Every year a man has on you, is a year he has been able to learn how to manipulate you... One also needs to ask themselves WHY a 36 year old male want's to date a 27 year old, would you date an 18 year old? Because that is the age gap we are talking about here... Why would he even have his age filters that low?! The only reason I could think of I'd date an 18-year-old, is because they would be super easy for me to mould and manipulate and will likely do what I want in bed. It's possible this is …

I don't know if this is applicable to your situation, but do listen to this weeks FDS podcast about setting up a dating rotation (or scrotation, oh ladies, you do crack me up). If you are not focused on just one person and have other options, your insecurities are less likely to take the better of you!

Having breast augmentation surgery involves a TON of risks. You are after all inserting a foreign object into your body, that your body might try and fight off. Just from the top of my head you would have an increased chance of autoimmune diseases (potentially also for any future children), cancer, scaring, encapsulation etc., short term, risks related to general anesthetics, infections, non-healing wounds... I think plastic surgery is wonderful and can really help people, but it should NOT be t…

I love the hardcore FDS point-of-view, that is exactly what I'm after! I agree. I told him I do not enjoy traditional pubs as I do not drink beer. It is also impossible to reserve a table at this place, so I will see if he gets back to me with a different suggestion. If not, will have to cancel. In terms of the location, I do agree. But my village-life is temporary and I will be moving back to the city after restrictions are lifted over here, so it doesn't make sense for me to date anyone closer…

Haha! I will be in charge of other peoples dogs, so I won’t go too crazy ;-) Yes, I think I’ll provide him with a timeslot and see what he comes up with. If he doesn’t make a reservation I will cancel.

This is a great point, I am in full control over if I drink or not of course and I have not been practising this yet. Not good. I like the second bit too, I will have to stew on that a little bit. Again, the cultural element of it complicates matters slightly, but I do agree with the sentiment.

I told him I have no availability all Saturday as I will be going for a champagne tasting with my friends, starting early afternoon. I am not wanting to make any excuses, but I would have also reply bemused due to my cultural background, before having found FDS. I am wondering if asking him a time and venue is 'good enough' for now, and then make my mind up from there, or really if I should nip this in the butt straight away. But then just the whole cultural aspect as well... throws me off! I wi…

Got talking to a guy on OLD, which is the best way for me to meet new people at the moment. He lives in the city that I work in, but I currently live 1,5 hours away from that city. He suggested meeting up after exchanging a few - fairly well thought out messages - and he suggested either coming down to my town or scheduling something whenever I'm in the city. He suggested 'grabbing a terrace'. 'Grabbing a terrace' is drinks, but not the 'drinking late at night in a dark bar' kinda a drinks (if t…

Not to mention it's unsafe... Removal of an IUD is a MEDICAL PROCEDURE, and for good reason. There is a risk (albeit small, still there) of uterine perforation, excessive bleeding, infection etc. Something tells me this scrote is not a medical doctor...

She should bring a scalpel to foreplay next time and attempt to perform a vasectomy. "Whats the matter hun? I thought interfering with each other's reproductive systems was part of our foreplay?"

It's so concerning... Honestly I do not think women and girls ARE sufficiently aware of the tactics... The story of Courtney Stodden that was highlighted again recently made me realise how long a way we still have to go, especially as SHE was blamed and picked on when she was quite clearly a victim. Personally, I was groomed by a 30 year old when I was 17 and we did eventually get together. Even though 17 is the legal age in my country, it was still a 100% grooming as these ADULTS prey on CHILDR…

It is far worse... The amount of men who have (tried to) attached themselves to me like a suckerfish for the emotional support and intellectual support I am able to provide is unreal, and this is FAR more valuable than money because you always make more money, but can never ever get your time back.

Good on her! Do not confront him so he has a chance to gaslight you or try to turn the blame on you, simply gather evidence for legal purposes and get the hell out of there.

I have 0 issue with my boyfriends eating meat (I'm a vegetarian myself), but the LYING about it... My NVM ex was a politician and even parroted the 'I'm a veggie line' all over the media. Imagine my surprise when after a few dates, he quite happily made himself a hamburger... Should've run, especially after he told me he had never said he was a vegetarian...

This is a good point... Another hurdle is that the idiot is picking fault at everything I say and crying to her about it, priming her to ditch me fully (and by extension most of her other friends).

Willing to use your beautiful heaven-sent body to build a family for yourself, and a man, only if he has earned a place in it. Wise words!!!
