A lot of people pick off low hanging fruit and then talk ab how girls are easy. Meanwhile they’re incapable of how to attract a quality woman and have a good relationship.

That’s not a strategy lol

Ah I get you. I’ve had this same idea about hot girls in general. It’s honestly pretty true in a lot of cases lol

Why do you think they’re easier to date irl?

Tbh I’ve kinda wondered the same thing, sometimes I think about how “unemotional” I am now compared to when I was younger. Like I still get excited about things but it’s only like a slight excitement, and I don’t really get upset anymore it’s like a slight upsetness

But you need to stop hiding that feeling away when you try to “let go” like you said. Bc if you really truly were “letting go” then that means you’d let that natural feeling take over and be comfortable with it, and not keep mentally swatting it away when you see a girl you’re attracted to. Be comfortable letting that feeling out when you talk to a girl, after all, it’s only natural ;)

I think OP is feeling like he needs to fit some kind of mould in order to have success which is ultimately what’s throwing him off. If he’d just relax and just be himself at the clubs and bars, that anxiety would probably go away and he’d be having fun doing whatever it is his natural self does to have fun. And that’s really all it takes. If girls see you having fun in the clubs/bars,… hell it’s not uncommon they’ll come up to you!

I think I get afraid afraid that I’m gonna get friendzoned or be seen as platonic if I don’t escalate sexually and whatnot. Do you have advice for how to establish connection wo losing their interest? I feel like it makes conversations boring ect when I’m focusing on “establishing a connection”

This is what i really needed to hear from someone. I feel like a lot of times I don’t give the girls a chance to get emotionally intimate w me bc I’m just like nah not hot enough so I don’t even make myself vulnerable to them. But I think you’re right, it seems like I’ve forgotten what it’s like to be attracted to a girl bc of her personality
/r/seduction10/02/22 06:15 AM

And don’t you like of feel like it feels better that way? Like don’t you miss the nervous feeling you’d get? It’s almost like bc it gives you that slot machine feeling where you don’t know if she’ll find you attractive or not. I feel like w other girls I’m too confident in them finding me attractive bc I know I’m out of their league and it becomes boring.

I get you’re excited but chill homeboy… “the next text is crucial” it isn’t. Just be chill, don’t be thirsty and be all into the flirty text. You’re next text should be making/setting up plans

Just start living your life like everythings cool n shit like you feel it would be/was in the 60s-80s. Don’t wait for life to start treating you like it’s cool bc it just doesn’t happen, for anyone. You get to decide how you live your life and if that means rolling w an attitude like everything’s chill and shit like it was in the 60s-80s then you go for it, a lot of people hate this generation too and look back at those times and think the same as you do, so if you can show people that you like …

Sometimes that’s all it takes, girls different from others, some will hand out their # to anyone the second they ask, some won’t at all. But generally speaking, no, cold approach isn’t really just ab that, there’s more that goes into it. You gotta build that rapport w them first and then you can start asking for the #, etc. Remember, you gotta bring some kinda value to the situation, and in a “man to woman” frame, that’s by making her laugh, smile, complimenting her, charming her, etc, bringing …

I mean, were you engaged in some kinda conversation w her prior to your dialogue? Or did she show any kind of iois? If she did then by all means take that shot like Devin Booker
/r/seduction30/01/22 03:01 AM

There needs to be some kinda charming/funny/flirty back and forths before you go for the #. You just went straight from being normal guy to asking if she’s single to asking for #. Need that escalation in between my guy

As you gain experience doing over and over what you just did, you’ll know whether or not to even bother asking her for her number or saying/doing anything direct

If OPs intention was just to get practice and talk up some hotties there’s absolutely nothing wrong w doing that. Situationally yes, it’s not a great frame for if you’re tryna pull

Focus on you and what you’re doing, don’t make her your priority, she can be A priority, but your main priority is you and your life as a man and what you’re striving towards in life. Focus on you and you won’t be seen as needy

Idk, i mean I wouldn’t really think it’d be awkward if I passed by someone I was barely acquainted in the hall or whatever and said “oh hey (girlname)!” And they say “hey!” back and then just say “you had your b day over holiday yeah? Happy belated b day!” Then go in with what I said before Really nothing awkward about it imo, it would only be awkward if you make it awkward haha

Ever hear of a “jack of all trades”? Well really that quote expanded is “ a jack of all trades is a master of none”. So in essence, find what you’re good at and go 110% into it. You become a more attractive person in general when you’re like this. Also i think personally that this will ease your mind and make you more confident as you’ll become more grounded and congruent/ sure of yourself because you’ll know who you are as a person and what you’re good at

Honestly I think you’ll have much better chances of something actually coming from this if you do it in person. If she doesn’t know you (you’ve never talked) and you just send her a happy b day reply to her story she’s gonna say thank you!! just gonna leave it at that most likely. It’s hard and kinda awkward and janky to build rapport with someone who you kinda know but don’t really through text/social media. So imo since you’ve never talked before I’d approach her next time you see her and just…

The right frame of mind when it comes to having confidence in getting girls is that you know you can attract A girl, not THAT girl. Big difference. A lot of guys I see think learning game is about being able to turn it on and attract a specific girl they have in mind, which isn’t the case

When did I say he should hang out at the gym and hope he runs into her?
/r/seduction23/01/22 04:30 AM

Don’t ask her over text imo, you don’t need to over text her/get to know her super well over text since she goes to the same gym as you, if you two go alot you’ll see each other and you’ll have the rapport to easily approach and start talking to her in person, ask her to hang out at the end of your convo w her at the gym. This does 2 things: 1. Establishes non needyness bc she’ll see you aren’t super overly eager to text her 2. Allows you to easily and low risk approach her at the gym (and for h…

After dating a 9 for a few years I realized looks really aren’t my driving force anymore, it’s really more ab the connection I have w the person, I still have to find them physically attractive of course but they by no means have to be a 9-10, bc the connection makes up for it 10x.

OP you don’t have to “fall back” just because you can’t “possess” her. Possessiveness is a very bad mindset to have when dating Practice outcome independence and just have a good time w her, enjoy it for what it is

Yea OPs gotta escalate, don’t pussyfoot around if you see competition, have the bigger balls than your competitors and ask her out/make moves first before he does, I can’t tell you how many times I’ve seen first come first serve scenarios w girls before.

Look man some girls are different w how they interact w guys who are friends, if you’re pursuing her for a long term relationship and you don’t like the way she interacts w guy friends, then don’t get involved, keep that abundance mentality and look for someone who doesn’t raise any red flags for you, as someone who’s personally quite picky when it comes to women that I’m willing to get into a LTR w, I promise you they are out there If you’re just looking to smash then man who tf cares then real…

I don’t understand, are you saying your problem is jealousy? Or that you’re unsure of how she feels about you?

This. I find it incredibly difficult to flirt w women who I don’t really find all that attractive. If I do find her really attractive I just kinda force myself to stop thinking and approach and then just let that adrenaline feeling take over me and it forces me into being flirtatious and act all charming and whatnot wo really even thinking about it. It’s like I just go on auto pilot in a weird way, it’s hard to explain but I’m sure some people can relate to what I’m saying. Some people call that…

I would say you should escalate as much as YOU want, show her your desire for her. Then if she feels uncomfortable taking it to a certain point, let her decide that, and then of course you respect that. Because for all you know she wanted that D that night but you stopped thinking about getting there and so no escalation happened. Sure she said she was sick of guys just looking for a hookup, but ask yourself, were you honestly looking for a hookup or something more? Sounds like something more, d…

I think what alex is trying to say is that everyone is trying to analyze this and figure out why she did what she did. And like many things in life, you just wont be able to, because not everything in life is straightforward logical. Chin up and carry on, it just is what it is, happens to the best of us!

Lol you should absolutely treat her like a queen wtf? This notion that goes around of “don’t be nice to women” is the most toxic shit in pickup I swear. Be kind and sweet and show her a good time, be her man, just don’t be a doormat and act needy. It’s that simple

I feel bad for any women that has encountered you with the attitude you have here. You clearly have some insecurities surrounding women and you direct that into anger towards them. Since this is a sub dedicated to helping guys w women, I’ll tell you you will never be as successful as you wish if you are harboring negative emotions towards women. Seeing a therapist can do you very good (it did for me). Learn to appreciate women for who they are and learn how to love and vibe with their energy. I …

Regardless if you don’t have open doors all around you, point is that door is still shut, no point knocking. I get where you’re coming from, I went on a date w this really cute girl back in the fall and it went really well, and she was def the best girl I’d been on a date w in months. But after the date the texting died out and she stopped texting me. Sure you’ll get that mini oneitis thing for a bit but you’ll get through it and you’ll realize it just wasn’t meant to be. I didn’t mean what I said to knock your post or anything, I love your post! I thought what you had to say was great. My point isn’t to say “just be confident”, that’s not helpful advice at all. I’m just trying to point out and add on to your post that if people were to start following your advice then eventually they would realize all the things they’re doing boil down to just simply living the life of a confident person who owns themself. I’m not advising anyone to instead just be confident, yo…

Just be involved in a lot of things with your school. Join sports, clubs, attend events etc. You’ll get to know a lot of people very quickly. And you’ll basically know a few faces anytime you walk down the hall, from there it’s an easy in to start talking to/meeting whoever they know etc. You’ll feel like mr social while walking down the hall bc you know everyone, and that will already make you inherently attractive. Then when you start talking to a girl she’ll probably have already seen you aro…

Right. Something like 70% of communication is non verbal. You need to use your non verbal side to show you like a girl, it’s about your vibe, she’ll pick up on it, making it so obvious by just stating you think she’s pretty is just boring, that’s not flirting.

I mean it’s kinda good tho that he’s going through and explaining not to be “edgy” but more just be grounded and solid, stop being wishy washy and be a solid consistent man. But I agree w you, people need to stop advising guys to “have an edge”, bc at face value that advice just turns guys into acting like weirdos.
